I went to the dermatology and she prescribed me finasteride which I have used before. I got the 5mg pills that I have to cut in five but it is way cheaper than 1mg propecia. Two things I learned from the visit: using finasteride is a lifelong commitment; she told me if I stop using it the benefits will go away, she said it is just like using insulin. The other one is that if you live with a female who might become pregnant don't let her come in contact with the pills like cutting it for you because it might cause abnormalities to the genitals of a male fetus; anyways thoguth I would share these two things she told me during the visit.
