Testoserone prescription filling options

ad

I'm looking for information on legal prescription filling options.
Finally the specialist wrote me a prescription for Testosterone Cypionate. Yeah :-)
Not covered under my RX plan! Boo :-( Home delivery cash price $199. 200mg/ml 10 ml.
Medical will cover it for DR visit injection. Yeah :-)
Specialist CoPay $40/Visit Boo :-(

They cover Androgel, which is less affective and poses a transfer risk to my wife and children.
But don't cover self injectable which is very affective, no risk to my family, and would save both them and myself the cost of the DR visits and the prescription. WTF!

My questions are:

Are there "Legal Pharmacies" with more reasonable prices?
Do I have any other options other than purchasing UGL due to cost?

Thanks in Advance!

Update: Got my Watson Test Cyp from Walgreens w/discount card $80. Got 1st shot at Dr $40/co-pay Gonna do the rest myself told him I can't afford the $40 co-pay. He wanted bloods to adjust the dose if needed. Gonna put it off til done EBC competition. Will run private bloods maybe this week and post.

I get the Androgel for $20 copay, I'm still geting it JIC, till the script runs out. But I got the Watson Script so when I travel I don't have to worry about traveling with juice and pins.

I had total T tested a number of years ago and it was in the 200's. I was in my mid 30's, had never used gear before, didn't have insurance. My cool doc said I could come in once a week for a shot. He said people usually do 100 or 200 of T cyp per week, so I said how about the 200 :-)
He only charged me $10 a week. WTF. Sounds like someone is making a lot of money. I only did that for a few weeks before starting to supplement myself, then had an accident (broken bone) and stopped.
I went back to the doc earlier this year after 8 years off and I felt my levels were slipping again. Total T is really low in the 200's, and free T is absurdly low. The rest of my numbers looked good, had a MRI done to be sure there wasn't something wrong with my pituitary. He gave me a script for the armpit stuff that my insurance company didn't want to cover but they did after the copay card from the drug manufacturer. It's absurdly expensive, my wife was with me when I was picking it up and they said the price and I said no thanks - my wife wondered why I said that and had to explain the price they quoted was missing two decimals. It sort of works but I don't like the idea of contaminating others, just like you.
I'll be adding underground Test E eventually.

I had the choice of ANDROGEL or ANDRODERM . .I used the latter at 2 patches nightly- yields about 10 mg of T into the blood stream. It only got my levels up to around the 500 mark but now I just top it off with Test-E injections from UGL at a very reasonable and manageable price. Hope that helps buddy

Thanks Mike, still trying to feel this all out, I'm just starting and have to work out the long term details.

Thanks Jason, I did use Walgreens and got their discount card. $84 with the card that's good for a year. Gotta try Costco next time. Jagger says $55, $50 with the card.

I go back and forth. My TRT doctor shots are $70 a shot...one cc of cyp 200. I knw I know...alot of money but I like to keep my relationship going b/c she does all my blood work every 3 months, presribes me my AS/anti esti, and a good source of info. Oh, I also get HCG shots at the same time however I pay for the script on that.

So I'm supposed to go every other week, but I've been skipping and doing my own shots. So far so good, so I hope she doesn't get too pissed.

Hi Betheman, Is your TRT DR an Endo? If I get my Dr (urologist) to order and inject my med will cover it, $40 copay. My script is for 2ml/Month, inj at his office, but its BYOB. I gotta talk to him about the frequency, testing, and self shots. But right now I'm blasting for he EBC so I don't want him to see all the holes, or run bloods for a while! ;-P

Try online pharmacies and even overseas pharmacies u have a prescription. Its worth the try.

Hey mate, go to Costco. You don't need to have the Costco membership to use their pharmacy. I get my Test Cyp (Watsons) from there. 200 mg/mL @ 10 mL is $55 ($50 if you have a membership). Also you can see if your doctor can write the script such that your insurance will cover it.

For instance, my insurance won't cover anything for more than a month's supply. Obviously TRT doses of test in a 10mL bottle is longer than a month. But he writes it for one month anyway, so my insurance covers it for $10. 3 months later we do the same thing. Simple.

Regardless, the most it will cost you is $55.

Thanks Jagger, Good Info!
Thats what I love about this site, the community feel, people trying to help people :-)
Tried to give you some karma but its not working rite, maybe that's what they're fixing tomorrow?

What do you like better about it besides price? The problem is I'm new to this and don't yet know what I like, or what to expect other than what I am reading, and feeling so far. I'm thinking I should invest in at least 1 bottle of Pharma so I have a definite benchmark Feel? And it would be good to have a labeled Prescribed Pharma bottle to travel with I guess, While I continue to try to figure a way to get it covered without the Dr visit expense!

If you know of UGL's that are more potetent than pharm grade I would be very very thankful for a pm with a few names. Watkins cyp 200 has always been the benchmark and I haven't found any better from UGL's...I have been cheap about it though, so dollar for dollar I agree UGL's are cheaper (I have been paying up to $110 at People's Pharm). There is the NPP that I bought overseas. Apples and oranges and I would prefer domestic.

There was a post somewhere that said walgreens had "Watkins" so I called and went there. they signed me up for some program for $5 that got me 20% off. So $80, I get to try Pharma grade to draw comparisons and the journey begins. You know, you worry about what your injecting buying on the web, and you had trouble with Pharma? SMH Thanks for the insight.

wow 199 for one vial, the test i get from the pharm cost me 45 bucks for 5ml 200mg/ml

Yep, thats what the healthcare pharmacy wanted for a 10ml 200mg/ml home delivery. Did some searching and calling in the last few minutes and found 10ml 200mg/ml at 100.99 (online), and 104.99 at my local riteaid so far. The search continues!

Another option is to fly to Thailand. I bought almost 2 yrs worth of gear (80- 250 mg test e) and pins for $400. Savings will pay for about half of your vacation. You have a script so customs coming back the the USA will be no problem -- I stuck with 80 ampules so I could claim I needed 1 a day, making this less than a 90 day supply, which is perfectly legal. Usually if you leave meds right in plain sight they never even go thru them.

Just whatever you do, remember; Thailand is no place to be when you're low on T!
