How much TRT do you think I need to keep cycle gains?

ad

Hi, I'm just asking for opinions here. I'm 41y/o and my doc put me on androgel 50g for TRT.

Where I live free testosterone is measured in pmol/L (metric system i guess). The spectrum runs from 33pmol/L to 94pmol/L.
When I first did bloods my test level was 25pmol/L, so quite a few points below the lowest range number which is 33pmol/L. Androgel brought my levels to 56pmol/L. About mid range of the spectrum.

I did a test e cycle, 10w, 500mg/w. I gained about 10lbs.

My question: is the androgel and my mid level test range enough to help me keep my gains off cycle, or will I lose some of it?
Or can I still gain on the androgel at mid pmol/L test levels?

Does anyone have an educated idea on what is the lowest test level one can have to still make gains off cycle?

I appreciate the input. Thank you.

Thanks for the input. Stats: 41, 5'11, 180lbs, 15% bf.
The andrgoel my doc gave me is more for cruising/maintenance between cycles...was the idea. Let's hope it's enough...

The answer to your third question is - genetics. Some people can still carry muscle mass even though they have a lower test level than somebody else as their body is different genetically and such, the levels of muscle mass one can carry varies between person to person as much as the tides of the sea brother. Also what are your stats man?

Androgel can help put muscle on but... it generally only helps the people who haven't seen any muscle in a long time due to mega low test levels. Test e would have your test levels up in the supraphysiologal spectrum so if androgel is your only source of high test... you will not maintain as much as when you were on test e.
