After myself, Tony and Viking amongst others hijacked another thread Viking rightly suggested starting a tool oriented thread. We were talking about cordless and pneumatic tools primarily but we can talk heavy equipment or whatever.

Have a cousin that runs a crew and operates heavy machinery...Komatsu equipment....big powerful equipment.
Heavy equipment is fun to operate but goddamn, they can kill in a heartbeat. Last summer a guy I went to school with was excavating a ditch, my other old school buddy was in the ditch, the excavator slid and crushed him dead.. Tough deal all around. One cool thing came out of it tho, our class of 92 got together and raised a very large amount of money for his kids. More than I ever expected.
Sad to hear that Darth...my cous is somewhere in CO, they have breakdowns and have to overhaul equipment on site...def challenges safety...prayin for ur friends children and family...
