I’m not going to lie, I significantly cut back on my forum participation and stayed away from the site for a while just because I got so sick and tired of his toxic negativity everywhere.
Another thing that really annoyed me was when I would see new members “look up to him” and start talking down to other members.

Gave some solid advice in the trenches. I haven’t been on regularly for years now so I can’t speak to his current sate that got him banned. Are the other OG’s still around? This comment is a bit overdue since this happened months ago but so was his ban. That guy was just toxic all the time.. I always thought he was super close with the admins though since he seemed to skate by for such a long time. I actually remember seeing that he was banned 5 months ago and thinking HOW?... Thought that dude was well protected here.
Regardless, I'm happy to see him go.. I remember getting into an argument or two with him a while back because he always wanted to be right. Also remember seeing his physique and thinking "wow this guy looks horrible". Poor guy ...I think eroids was all he had going for him sadly
That may have been your perception. But it was very wrong. Rusty and I rarely got along and even tho he and Greg ideology were often on the same page Greg dropped the hammer on him a couple times. Looks can be deceiving.
