Who else gets fired up about growing food? We just planted ours, about one acre. 3 potato types, 3 onions, 9 tomato varieties including heirlooms, 3 peppers, dill, cilantro, basil, fennel, chives, rosemary, I could keep going but you get the point. No Bhut jolokias, sorry Nitti 
I love this time of year because my access to fresh produce is limitless. I know there are some other food growers in here. Tell us what you grow!

Husky Cherry tomato, Green & red bell, Hot banana peppers and Cherry hots, cucumber and basil. Thats it this year.
Where's my fuckin Bhuts bitch? I actually got lucky and got my hands on seeds last fall. So i'll be attempting to eat the ghost pepper at some point this year. Ambulance on stand by. lol

If you can get ahold of some chocolate habanero's they are a ton of fun. Nothing beats seeing a grown man go into a full blown panic!
He doesn't eat them. he cuts them in half and rubs them on his nuts. He said something about it being slightly better than caffeine for getting him up and out the door to the gym in the morning.

i used to do this. I would use 5 gallon containers.. easier to move them around and get
the sun.. when i get out of here..im going to do it again (every year.).. to easy to get results
and the veggies are off the hook !!!.. freeze tons of tomatoes and green peppers..etc..

BirmonI'm still waiting to plant. It snowed 2 inches here last weekend. If it doesn't warm up soon, I might have to just scrap it for this year. It's been a very weird spring up here.
We're planning on getting some chickens this year and a feeder pig too.
I ve got cucs, garlic, onions, romain lettuce, and tomaotoes.... I also have rabbits .. I let the dogs chase them ;-) ... I almost forgot, raspberries and blackberries (which are taking over everything) ..lol..

Between my FIL and I we have the better part of 4 acres of gardens. He gets most of the credit, he is OCD as hell lol. We have strawberries, squash, Pumpkin, Sweetcorn, Tomatoes (crazy lots) in many varieties, spinach, cauliflower, cabbage, 15-20 different types of peppers, plums , pears, apples and cherries. And I am sure I am forgetting something.
Well Im about to plant some alf alfa ,clover and few other things so I can grow a deer
I get deer in the back yard.. esp during spring.. somewhere i have a video of
15 of them in the yard.. half of them are sitting and taking naps..Ive got pheasant
and duck here too..lots and lots of ducks..

Buildbigger86MEEEE, Thinking about indoor this year alot since of new led products have come out i have been eyeing that i am may try for my produce this year.
Unfortunately LED has disappointed a lot of people. The PAR watts (the kind of radiation that plants use to grow) are too low to be useful. HID is still stronger but if you need low energy use and high PAR watts then use i-grow induction lighting. The technology is far superior. Its costs but its best.
I have experimented with LED, but as you say, HID is still by far the best option. I do use T-5 floros exclusively for vegging tho and am very pleased with them.
All I can plant where I live is a snail, slug, rabbit, and deer buffet |:-(
if you need a good source for sluggo (iron phosphate slug bait/poison) let me know. its chemically mild but effective. For rabbits, human piss is the ultimate secret weapon. I piss all around the border of my greens garden and they stay clear. Deer......... pay some crank head with meth to sit on top of your roof all night with a .22. Problem solved.
They make these awesome slug pellets that help with those.I don't have a problem with rabbits or deer.There's enough corn fields around me to keep the deer full.I did have a ground hog eating my lettuce one year.He met the business end of my sks.
I have a small garden.Approx. 20'x36'.I'm on a break from rototilling.I need to get my ass back out there.I've been enjoying fresh asparagus,2 to 3 times a week for the last 2 weeks or so.We grow broccoli,zucchini and summer squash,snow peas,beets,radishes,tomatoes,cucumbers,different lettuces,chives,green peppers,watermelon,cilantro and green beans.I grow organically until the bugs eat too much of the vegetables,then I nuke em with chemicals!lol
My wife and I do the same there is nothing like home grown vegetables, knowing what is in them and what isn't. And because of that you can't beat the taste!!!! I would list what we grow but it will for sure give away our location. But I am right there with you.
LOL i hear ya. Although you couldnt ever tell where im from because of our variety. Shit i grow everything from pink lemons to kale. Hot, cold, where am I? Controlled environment agriculture allows for quite the range.
AHHH! A pro grower we are not in your class my friend! I wish I was people talk about the collapse and survival, have all the guns and ammo you want and no food it doesn't really matter. Much respect to you for those skills!
