Guy don't get sucked into buying bitcoins. It only benefits the receiver of the bitcoins not the purchaser. The value is always fluctuating but it usually goes up.

Very true. I have used them and it's a pain in the ass. Cash is 1000% easier.

Bit coins fluctuate both up and down
If you're buying gear you're paying in a set dollar amount, so the bitcoin fluctuation is irrellevant

If the gear is 1000$ and you buy 1000$ bitcoins then it drops your telling me the seller willingly takes that lose?

the seller would just translate the current cost of btc into the real world value..

at some point other payment options will be choked off and are slowly being choked off and bit coins will be the only option left other than purchasing from your local gym dealer for cash

yah i know that, but i thought 7-11s but machines in them where you put the cash in and input the virtual address for the btc to go to

Ive only seen it on here and on silkroad. Have not see retailers accept. Guess there may be but I have not seen them.

i know when the greek economic crises started people were putting their life savings into btc because their currency went to shit. so it's not just illegal deals..

It's strange because I just read something that Walmart and CVS have some type of bitcoins purchasing only with credit cards which make it very traceable I would imagine

only traceable to the initial wallet address .. after that there are many services out there that wash the coins and send them on their way to other wallets which can accept them "anonymously" or they go into a "shared" wallet before being sent to their final destination.
