Need to lose weight
ad
Way too much body fat going on here.
Trying to kick start the fat burning with clen and ephe, didn't look so well after two weeks now. I'm doing a lot of cardio training (mostly biking and running) and have 4 clen pills (each 40mcg) and up to 6 ephe pills (each 30mcg) a day, but nothing. I don't even feel any "symptoms" such as shaking, rising body temperature, etc.
What am I doing wrong?

AnonSkinny can you give us some stats? Ie hgt Sgt age and. What your diet is now?
I'm 33
1,59m -> 5'2
52kg -> 114 lbs
I am coming from triathlon, so I going for a bike ride at least 5 times a week, each time for at least 1.5 hrs. It's intervals and "normal riding", the latter one with an average speed of ca 15mph.
I go running 3 times a week, each time for about 35 min, with an average speed of about 6 mph.
My weight training is actually very.. uhmm.. weak. On a daily basis I am doing 3 x 10 pull ups and 3 times a week I am doing different exercises with dumb-bells (each 10kg -> 22lbs)
AnonWhat rpm's are you spinning at? You need to work on getting that up to at least ninety....how much weight are u trying to lose? What are you eating and when?
Cadence is above 100.
I am eating lots of vegetables, lettuce, meat, milk products, and some fruits such as apples, oranges, and bananas. Can't keep my fingers of one hot chocolate a day though. ;)
Trying to get rid off about 4 kg (8 to 9 lbs).
AnonGet rid of the dairy...what fats are you eating?
Olive oil and pumpkinseed oil. And the fat from chicken and turkey meat. Sorry, I'm no expert in all of this.
AnonOne or two of your rides needs to be about three hours..straight up endurance and at least 19mph if not more on average....you need to increase trai ing not take a pill for fat loss at this point. You also need to cut out ALL simple carbs
CHEBComplex Carbohydrates
They are simply sugars bonded together to form a chain. Because of its complex chain form, your digestive enzymes have to work much harder to access the bonds to break the chain into individual sugars for absorption through the intestines.
Because of that, the digestion of complex carbohydrates takes longer. The slow absorption of sugars provides you with a steady supply of energy and limits the amount of sugar converted into fat and stored!
Usually people consider complex carbohydrates as good carbohydrates.
Here's a list of complex carbohydrates foods.
Simple Carbohydrates
Simple carbohydrates are digested quickly. Many simple carbohydrates contain refined sugars and few essential vitamins and minerals. People usually consider these as bad carbohydrates.
Why bad?
These simple carbohydrates are actually smaller molecules of sugar unlike the long chains in complex carbohydrates.
They are digested quickly because the individual sugars are ready to be absorbed immediately plus digestive enzymes have easy access to the bonds in the paired molecules.
You could say most of the work has been done for the digestive system! Foods like cake, pastry, biscuits; chocolate, etc (you get the idea) contain lots of "empty" calories.
Because our cells usually do not require that amount of energy at that time of eating, the sugar must either be converted to glycogen (sugar storage within cells) or converted to fat.
Your body cells can only store a limited amount of glycogen, so in many common cases, taking too much food that contains simple carbohydrates may contribute to body fat stores.

AnonYou got it! Nice post...don't forget that even complex carbs have a different absorption rate
CHEB"Because of that, the digestion of complex carbohydrates takes longer. The slow absorption of sugars provides you with a steady supply of energy and limits the amount of sugar converted into fat and stored!" This is the complex.

If I did leave something out hit me back with it. I am always eager to read new material. Thanks for the post.
AnonDo you also know about the importance of balancing carbs psrotiens and good fats?
CHEBYes, I sure do. I have my bachelors in exercise science and am working on my masters degree at this time. Nutrition is one of the fields that I am pretty familiar with. Although I do not know everything... LOL
I am not trying to say I am smarter, or more equip to make a statement then anyone else here, but I am willing to share what I know to be facts and helpful to me.
AnonPeople make the mistake of cutting out food groups thinking they are doing themselves a favor..recall the "fat free" kick and the all protein diets....lol..so easy to get confused...I ve been all up in this for twenty years.. you have good info and good posts thanks for sharing
Give them a vote if you find it helpful.PermalinkCHEBYou are welcome, you have tons of knowledge as well. I have see you in here for the short time I have been on here and you are pretty knowledgeable about what you are talking about. That is refreshing to know that there are people like you that are on here, verses the idiots that are on here that read other blogs and post from the internet thinking that it is 100% correct and they have no clue a 13 year old posted it.... LOL...... Look forward to reading many post from you and others like you as well.
CHEBIs it left out?
sgtstedankoAlso, something that kicks my ass Everytime:) 20-45minutes on a recumbent bike, start at 0, or low, and increase level by 1 every minute or so, at at least 85 rpm.
AnonYes sarge, but the reason I suggested the long endurance rides is because she is training for tri athalons. Given that I spent about quite a bit of time road racing and then doing tri's she is missing the long endurance rides that will strip the fat off of her.
Oh no, I'm not training for Tris anymore. I was competing during the last 10 years, but had to stop due to a shoulder injury. So I am actually coming from triathlon, but don't do them anymore. The amount of exercising I mentioned above would be ridiculous if I was still competing. During my hardcore training times a couple of years ago I did about 700km a week on bike and on foot additionally to swimming and weight training. ;)
Anonahh got it thought you were still training.. I still think the one long ride a week will take care of the 10lbs you are still trying to get rid of. I have heard of a supplement called Lida that may be what you are looking for without risking the side effects of the clen and the other stuff you were taking.
sgtstedankoOoh, I just noticed something. I'm in the ladies lounge, so there is a very good chance that you are in fact penisly challenged, my condolences:) sorry ladies, I'm just wandering around with no pants as usual:( I'm not the smartest creature, but I'm very loyal
Hahahaha, sgtstedanko! You're just AWESOME. That was quite a big laugh. Thanks for your suggestions and all but I guess if I eat that I would gain a lot of weight instead of losing it. ;)
sgtstedankoThank you. It's about time someone other than me noticed that I am awesome

AnonSgt it is ok...we forgive you..just trade those tighty whiteys for some boxer briefs..please
sgtstedankoNot even if they're a beautiful sand color? I just wear my uncles hand me downs:( I actually think that I was one of the first guys to start wearing boxer briefs:)
sgtstedankoOh god! I didn't even think of that. I'm such a pig. Sorry:( if you're a grrl I don't have any absolute advice for you. Sorry... I assume this plan would work for anybody, just less weight, food, etc. I know grrls&guys are different. I know boys have a PENIS,&grrls have a vagina, and also that the clitorus has 18 parts; Sadly, in my 34years, this is about all I have learned with absolute certainty:( my generic disclaimers aren't very good either... basically saying that eroids, & its mods, aren't legally responsible for my dumb ass. Kinda wish they were though:(
sgtstedankoBunk gear, or not enough of it maybe. I've actually got some clen left. Don't like it, makes me feel like a jittery crack head:) Go to the supermarket and buy Green tea to drink, and enough hydroxycut for 3 months. And go after heavy weights more brother.3-4 times a week. Use some weights with your ab exercises to. You can't really burn fat, without building lean muscle. Cardio alone isn't near enough. IMO...

Don't get discouraged, It's slow at times. For cardio, I recommend sprinting first thing in the morning for up to 15 minutes if you can. I go off and on, as long as I can, and then take a break for 30 seconds. Look up High-intensity interval training (HIIT). All it takes is dedication, and desire, and you can accomplish anything dude. Try something like this & see how this treats you bro. This is what works for me bro. Also started doing some p90x, and it's actually pretty solid to mix in. I also hike with an 80 pound ruck for 20 or so miles a couple times a month, etc. You'll be a lean mean fighting machine in no time:) Hope this helps... Feel free to pm me.

AnonNice routine SGT but you know nothing about this person so this may or may not work for them.. plus.. women ARE different from men.. assuming this person is also... you may want to post a disclaimer about how you are not a professional .. would hate to see this come back to bite you in the ass in the future..
