there are no miracles... Change the diet .. get rid of all carbs except complex carbs, no bread, no pasta, no rice.. get rid of sugar.. get rid of processed foods.. increase protein intake and add some muscle.. no she isn't going to get BIG if she lifts. That requires a lot of work and food and rest ....
But I got these cheeseburgers maaaan

it is really that simple....
You will not find anything that's a miracle! Diet is the key! Change what she's eating! Lower the fat, watch the carbs and look at lean protein.
My mother always asks me what she can do to lose fat. She runs everyday, swims everyday, and lifts 3 days a week. She doesn't look bad for an older woman. I think she could benefit some but won't listen to me at all. I try to give her a good diet and exercise tips but then she just goes back to doing what she's done for years. She will not take any supplement or even drink a protein shake because it has fake sweetener in it. She won't eat but one meal a day and thinks she'll gain weight if she eats 5 times. She continues to ask me the same question however and the cycle repeats. lol
AnonToo much cardio will not benefit her at all.. Lifting weights will provide a longer period of increased fat burn than cardio will. I would try to shy her away from a cardio-dominate workout to one with lifting included, if possible. With that being said, cardio is very important and WILL aid in fat loss as long as everything else is in check. Diet obviously is most important. If she is not consuming enough calories and hitting a lot of cardio, she will burn right through any muscle she has. On the reverse side, if she is eating too much, the cardio will not give her the effect she desires. Idk what she looks like, her stats or what she wants to achieve so its difficult to provide any suggestions.
Cardio is LAME!!!! I was a cardio queen most of my life, never got the results I wanted until I started lifting heavy.

Again ahhh haa, so that's what brought about those drastic changes. I'm taking notes. I've taken on the responsibility of helping train a woman far more advanced than anyone I've helped before. I need to be on top of what all you pro chicks do :-P

HIT cardio is the key with proper diet. a lot of these women think cardio consist of a treadmill and only a treadmill doing the same shit over and over , of course you wont get anywhere doing that lol. when the wife an I get into contest shape its HIT training on the stair master 3 minutes steady pace on level 5 ,2 minutes all out anarchy on level 9 repeat a few times , that's how its done. if your heart rate isn't up and your not sweating you are not doing cardio your just going through the motions.
Post lifting? On a separate day? How do you split your HIIT?
never before a workout, some do fasted cardio before breakfast in the morning if they workout at night, some do it after a workout some also do it on their rest days cause if your an athlete there never is true rest. the wife does hers in the morning , I do mine after a work out.
ECA is great for the ladies and a very cheap route to go.. start very low and get on a good regimental diet and be strict.. fat will fall off the handles and she will see lines never seen before..
A good diet maybe to look at and tweak to her needs would be as follows
Meal 1: 3 Egg Whites, 1 whole Egg & 3 oz. Yam
Meal 2: 4 oz. Tilapia, 3-5 oz. Yam & Asparagus
Meal 3: Post Workout Shake: Spinach, Banana, 1 Egg, Protein Powder, Waxy Maize, BCAA, & Glutamine
Meal 4: 4 oz. Chicken Breast, Asparagus & Almonds
Meal 5: 4 oz. Tilapia, Asparagus & Almonds
Also mix in some fasted cardio and ec before cardio and you will be blown away if the discipline and desire is there..

Right on, I think gear can help motivate, its like making an investment. What you think about some low dose var and an ECA stack, some sweat and a good diet!!

shoxingbiceps17I think if you can get your girl to lift some weights, nothing heavy just bust out a lot of reps, then you will see a HUGE difference naturally. I don't really see the point in running var if she wouldn't be doing any lifting just cardio. If shes stuck on not lifting anything at all lol, then the ECA stack would be fine. Make sure she cycles it 2weeks on, 2 weeks off, etc.
