Anavar

ad

Hi, I will be purchasing Anavar in the next day or two. I am 50 yrs old and in good shape. I workout out every other day. What I am wanting from Anavar is to cut body fat and gain mass definition. I am 5' 9" and 165lbs. I need to try and get my weight down to 135, 140. I eat good, lots of protein, no junk food. I just have that stubborn belly fat. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Citygurl

instead of creating another thread hope i can ask this here for the ladies, or anyone.
from my understanding var is supp to be easy on the sides for men and i assume women at low doses.
my woman is 43 and really struggling to lose bf. ive been working with her on the lifting and she has time to do a couple of her cardio classes and a couple weight sessions per week.
i am finding she doesnt have a lot of muscle and its very hard to get it on her. her diet is great, maybe a little low in pro but i got her up to 100g ED.
shes weighing about 140 and 5foot3.
i was considering having her try a short cycle of anvar. i got a bunch of 10mg tabs and id try to start her on 5mg twice per day. just worried about lipids since she takes (think its called a statin) for cholesterol and really watches her sodium intake.
any input is appreciated.

depending on her bf levels she probably won't lose much of it however if she is consuming enough protein while on the var she will notice an increase in muscle mass. However because it isn't a great "fat loss" pill she will be thicker .. this won't always be the case so if she can keep the long term in mind it might and I say might, given training, diet, rest... help become a good basis for a foundation where she can take the fat off a bit easier with a good diet while maintaining and even adding muscle. Don't freak out here because she isn't going to blow up into a body builder .. that takes a LOT of work ...

Hi, thx for the reply.
I understand the limitations.
She doesnt have goals like me but I see her struggle with losing fat. During winter I had her on increased cals and she just wasnt getting any muscle gain. I tell her to take it slow but her metabolism seems VERY slow. I am going to have her bump her protein up a bit even if its a shake or 2.
She logs food and works out very hard. We work out twice per week.
i hope the var will help her at min retain some muscle while dieting. if i can convince her to take it.
i want to get her back on some hgh too. just .5-1iu ED.

bump protein and make sure any and all carbs are complex, ie, vegetables.. get rid of rice, potatoes, pasta... look for any hidden sources of sugar.. and cut those out also. .. I'd start her on just 5mg a day no reason to go to 10 at all unless she is going to up her weight training.

No anavar for that. Just get albuterol( salbutamol tabs).

Ok, thanks all for your help. I guess I read too much misleading info on Anavar. Most crap I read called it the fat loss drug of choice.

i am in a similar spot as you. i am not post menopausal but i had a full hysterectomy because of having cancer that spread. im young too. kodiakgrrl is right. it seems the belly pouch is related to estrogen with women like us. its a very stubborn spot for me to. it wasnt like that until after the hysterectomy. so im sure its hormone related. like others said the anavar isnt going to help. i use anavar but it seems to only really help the leaner i am. i noticed the best change by using testosterone. mwag explains it like this to me. testoserone in women means less estrogen, more testosterone means less fat and more muscle. i keep a close eye on my estrogen and keeping it low to stay as lean as i can. i got some more to go but im getting there. get blood work done and look into other things. anavar i dont think will be much if any help right now

testosterone is thermogenic ... burns fat ;-)

Yea, I have had labs done and the Dr. said they are normal. I am post menopausal too I might add. That plays a role I am sure. 4 months ago I had a 75 mg testosterone pellet implant and I barely felt a difference.

kodiakGRRL's picture

do you want to be normal for your age or feel normal again?

Mrslawnking's picture

very good point. "Normal range" "for your age" is crap in my opinion. The fact that stuff is naturally getting out of whack is why we look to supplement. I'm 42 years old and perimenopausal, but I've been using progesterone cream at 5-10x the suggested (medical) dosage for several years because that's what it took to stop my symptoms. I want no hormonal symptoms at all, not normal symptoms for an over 40 woman.

kodiakGRRL's picture

consider getting bio identical estradiol ... the progesterone converts to estrogen in excess ...

ok, I eat mainly lean chicken, fish, vegetables about 4 times a day. Sweet potatoes instead of regular potatoes. I drink about 60 oz. water a day. My cardio is 30 to 45 minutes a day on the elliptical. I just cant seem to budge on weight loss. I also do weight training too. Some free weights and machines.

Hey Citygrl i am near yr age have been lifting for a few decades now and only lately did it become difficult to drop some weight due to hormonal fluctuations...i can tell you i put on 3 lbs over night on var...it kinda bothered me but my muscles were really pumped and i was stronger than normal so that part i really enjoyed....idk if this is what yr lookin for but imo you should get yr thyroid and adrenal levels checked....they play in integral part in assisting with menopausal hormonal fluctuations.....i bust my ass in the gym and recently switched my workout up and dropped 5 lbs. from what i can tell you need to change a few things training wise and you'll see great results even without gear....one thing i've learned; hormones play a paramount role in weight management but if you keep environmental estrogens outta yr diet i.e. non organic meats and dairy, BPA in the plastics, soy products etc. you can keep your hormones balanced and still look amazing ;-)

Hi city... anavar isn't going to be the cure for stubborn belly fat... hate to say it but that is diet and estrogen issues. Have you had any labs done and do you know where your hormone levels are at? Also, what do you mean when you say "clean" so if you could outline your diet.. at least what foods you are eating that would be really helpful..

welcome...how long have you been working hard at the gym...usually I wouldn't ask a lady that question but at least I didn't have to ask age ;-p...anyways ill get to the var in a second but first id like to say that your diet is really key to the belly fat and if you're like me that mean have a diet and rarely if ever straying...id be very curious to see what your diet actually looks like I don't judge people but I often find people think their diet is a lot more in shape than what it is...ex. I had someone tell me the other day they ate tons of protein I said yeah like what and they said salad everyday...shook my head...but yeah if I fall off my diet for a week or 2 I balloon from like 225 to 235 right away...also things like diet soda often make you bloat up something crazy...anyways im sure grrrl will be in here shortly and she can probably give you the best var advice seeing as mine pertains mostly to men but would you mind giving us some stats about how you work out what you do cardio/lifting etc thanks -ToT
