Diets not to bad Bill.

cycling 100 plus miles must be ok for endurance. Guess it all about recovery.

Hence the little assistance on here guys

At 54 I would imagine your a candidate for at the minimum of TRT but only blood work could tell that.

Or you are just talking to your self.
I saw it though.
What does not bad mean?
Let's us see a break down for your daily meals.
I'm interested to see what you eat.

Have you had blood work done?
At your age your test could be low...
Have you considered HRT ( dr )
There is a plethora of information here.
You cant just ask what will make you ride faster. We need a background as to why you are riding slow in the back like a fat lad

Hi Bill G

Usually eggs and whole meal bread or porridge with Banana in morning. Sandwich with piece of fruit at lunch time with home made curry n rice, ham potatoes or roast beef at night with the odd packet of crisps thrown in.

Not had blood work done as didn't think had any issues and wouldn't want to burden any docs just now.

Can put the miles in on bike but find recovery time is getting longer.

Cheers

I am by far an endurance athlete.

I did notice a great deal of energy change with adding more carbs. I thought hey I want to slay slimm do a low carb low fat diet. Stayed feeling like poo and staying skinny fat. The less I eat the more my body tries to store it. I eventually learned I needed more carbs I also am well past 40. My bodies nutrition needs changed as i get older.
What is you macro break down of all that food ?
