Wassup boyos

ad

New to the forums, just wanted to make an introduction and say wassup.

27 years old, 6’0” 178lbs ~13-14% BF, never done a cycle before, but have been on doctor prescribed TRT for about a year, but that shit is getting way to expensive to be totally honest. And at this point my doctor just calls me once a month and asks “everything good?” And I reply “yup no issues” and then that’s it, so I think $350 a month could be used much better than with a clinic.

I’ve been cutting for the last couple months, probably got another few weeks left in my cut before I bulk, and when I bulk is when I want to start my first cycle, so I really stumbled upon this website trying to find a good source, still no luck with that but I’ll be purchasing soon. Just doing a bunch of research in the mean time.

When I’ve done bulks in the past, I usually aim for a 400-500kcal surplus, is this still a good spot while on cycle? Or will that need to be higher? My diet is on point I track my calories every single day and hit my calorie and protein goals consistently, so I just want to make sure I’m not leaving any gains on the table by not eating in enough of a caloric surplus during my first cycle, summer is coming up so I’d like to put on as little fat as possible but I know it’s unavoidable while in a surplus.

Thanks and I hope to learn a good bit, stay safe boyos

I would just resume TRT dosage after first cycle. I don’t think PCT would help me unfortunately.

U are here! Thought we lost ya. Just reading and doing research I hope... Ok, so trt answered that. I only asked because u talked as if u were going to get off trt. I know u explained below about why trt at such a young age but it was vague. Anyway, I was just checking in, glad to see u were also. Thanks for being here and participating.

Yeah been digging and scowering through these forums most nights before bed to continue reading up, vetted a source and from their posts and comments on here made my first purchase and got everything pretty quick.

And I don’t plan to stop TRT, just planned to stop TRT with my actual doctor because ~$300 a month was too expensive when that would basically buy me a years worth of test from a good source.

I’m actually unsure the cause of my PH, but it’s been for a while, very low amounts of body hair, and lots of low T symptoms including terrible ED for a year or two was what made me go to the doctor, they ran blood work and said I was very low T, and referred me to a low T center. And then that’s when I learned of this whole crazy world lol, beforehand I had almost 0 knowledge of this stuff, and only later did I learn that a lot of guys hop on TRT just to get a script for test.

That's funny shit, kinda sad too.

I think that you may have misread the post, I am finishing up a cut, then going on to a bulk. But I appreciate the response and will keep the part about giving my body the proper nutrients. I feel pretty confident in my diet and nutrition, but yeah have yet to start that first cycle, mostly continuing on TRT for now.

How long have you been on trt ?

The_Spanish_Batman's picture

About a year, but I am planning to stop my run with the doctor, it’s just not worth it for me to pay $350 per month for ~4mL of test C and some HCG and syringes.

Pretty much got my dosage sorted out with frequent blood work, only issue I have Is back acne that comes and goes in waves.

Says about a year!

Something doesn’t add up.

Is this the trend? Young guys on trt?

Halsey's picture

I'm not sure?? That's why I asked the questions that I did. Primary failure for a young dude is a bit off unless they did aas or sarms when younger. Could have damaged his testicles in the past. Secondary can be fairly common with tbi or concussions. My t levels crashed at 43 with over 20 years of ssri usuage.

Who knows

I’m new here too. And I will tell you that this place is awesome. I wish I had found this community sooner, and I think you will see that too. Looks like you are well in your way so keep that same attitude with a learners heart. You’re gonna do great

Thanks for the questions!

1: why trt at 26 years old? Primary or secondary failure? What is your current trt dose/protocol?

Primary hypogonadism, unsure of the cause in all honesty, my LH and FSH levels pre TRT were very high.

Current protocol is 180mg test c/week, and 1000iu HCG, both split into two injections per week. No AI at all.
My first cycle I plan to simply up my weekly dose of Test C to 500mg for 12-16 weeks, then return back to TRT dosage. I already have plenty of Arimidex that my doctor sends me “just in case” but he has advised me only to take them if I experience high E2 symptoms which besides from some back acne I haven’t had any at all.

2: what were your natty t levels before the clinic?

Natty levels were varied between 200-300ng/dl, but my free T was always single digit and was why my doctor original started me on Test injections.

3: are you married/gf, have kids, want kids?

Not married, have a few girls I date but no kids, no plans for any kids in the future at all until maybe 10+ years down the road. Marriage seems like a bad deal for us guys so no plans for it.

4: long term goals?

Honestly It started off as just wanting to feel better, I felt awful and had tons of low T symptoms for years never really knowing what could cause it and always had mediocre results in the gym, now my goals are to continue improving my health and physique, do a few blasts and cruise at my TRT dose into the sunset for the rest of forever, and continue training and dieting while doing it.

5: how long have you been training seriously?

I’ve been training seriously for a few years, but while I trained seriously I never dieted or worried about nutrition seriously until the last year or so, which has been when I have really learned the most about my body and how important diet really is and made the most progress.

You sound like you are fairly well informed and intelligent. Which might sound a bit shitty, but we get alot of new guys here that could even begin to answer the questions I've asked. The test only cycle for your first cycle is typically the gold standard. There are several posts that detail this type of cycle.

Couple things to keep in mind; more gear doesn't necessarily mean better. Hence, if your seeing gains no need to add more. Keep doing your blood work regularly and stay consistent on diet/training.

Welcome aboard, lots of good guys on here.

The_Spanish_Batman's picture

Thanks for the welcome! Yeah I’m aiming to start that first test only cycle in a month or so once my cut is over.

When first starting TRT I never even thought I’d be here planning a full first cycle, but I’ve been doing research on cycles and stuff for a few months now and feel confident enough to give it a shot.

And thank you for the info I will definitely check out those first cycle posts you mentioned for more info
