Unusual newbie, transguy here.

Heya, I've been training regularly for over 6 years now. In that time frame, i've put on around 12kg, and dropped in BF however not quite sure how much as I didn't use to check that kind of stuff back then. I've gained most of my weight in the first couple of years and since then I'm hitting a plateau over the last couple of years hence me contemplating a serious cycle.
More specifically about me as it is tightly related to testosterone. I'm a transgender female to male, that means i was born in a female body, and at the age of 18 I transitioned. That includes operations such as mastectomy (removal of the breasts), hence unless some residual tissues where left I'm not prone to gynecomastia at all and a full hysterectomy (removal of uterus and ovaries) which means I no longer produce any kind of sexual hormones naturally. I'm as well HRT wit Test E 125 mg e2w in order to maintain a "normal" level of testosterone.
When it comes to previous "experience" with steroids. I've experimented a bit with my test E, I've tried for a couple of months a couple of times to up my dose to 250mg e2w for a couple of months as I get it in vials but usually throw away the other half :'( . It resulted in significant strength increase and if not raw increase in body weight, a very visible lowering of BF at the same time of increase in volume of muscles, even despite such a "low" dose. However, the androgenic secondary effects where quite pronounced as well, I'm basically a cave man now and has already a good beginning of reciding hairline. xD
Because of this sides effects, I did as well a small test with nandrolone decanoate only for 3 months (with AI), 200mg ew while keeping my test e at "normal" level. However, it resulted in no visible changes apart for noticeable softer/healthier hair which makes me thinking the stuff was under dosed.
I contemplating now to do a serious cycle on proper deca at proper doses ie 400mg ew but this is probably a discussion for another part another section of this forum.

basskiller89Welcome brother,
I recommend 500mg of test ew for first cycles. You may not be prone to aromatization due to your glands being removed, however you may want to control e levels for other reasons such as water retention and skin clarity. As for your receding hairline, most commonly the cause is elevated DHT levels. If your hairline is important to you I'd suggest looking into finasteride or dutasteride along with blood work to keep your DHT levels in normal or below normal ranges. Lastly, make sure your'e eating sufficient calories to grow. 2000-2500 calories is mostly likely underrating. There are a lot of brothers in here who can help you fine tune the diet aspects
Good luck and happy growing
Welcome to eroids. I'm the proud father of an amazing 19yr old trans male son. (He also has had a mastectomy a few years ago).
Diet is not to lose weight but to recomp. The more of that "baby fat" you shed, and more muscle you put on the more masculine you'll start to look. I would stick with test e for now and focus more on eating like a bodybuilder and training like one as well. Upper body (arms and chest) exercises are going to be key in getting you to look less androgynous and more masculine.
basskiller89Brother,
My apologies about the trans joke on a recent troll's thread, I was out of line, I will keep my language clean on here from now on
Thank you!
First time I ever hear someone telling to focus on the upper body parts. ;)
Hello ftm9,
Just want to welcome you to eRoids community. Lots of knowledgeable people here that will be able to assist you however your case is a bit unusual and would need doctors supervision from my perspective.
Only thing that I would start with before discussing hormone manipulations, is body fat percentage that is disturbing. Now this could be caused due to hormones change however this needs to be monitored closely. Now I would suggest to stick to the hormones and dosages your doctor has prescribed and meanwhile would monitor your BF levels by adjusting the right nutrition, weight training and cardio training. By dropping your BF level closer to single digit you will more likely notice that hormones will have completely different effect on your body.
Hope this helps
Regards
Heya gym supps,
Well I would agree with you if it wasn't for the fact that I watch my nutrition. Right now i'm not counting my exact macros, just watching to keep a good proportion. However, even when in the past, I have tried to count and put myself into ever caloric deficit or surplus depending on the goal, the results were ridiculous to say the least.
It is true however that I have a weird fat repartition, probably due an originally female fat repartition. I give indicatively the amount 20% as it what my impedance weight (I know it's not very accurate) shows me. However at the eye upper abs are closer to 15% (abs and ribs visible) whereas the lower part of waist contains the most of the subcutaneous fat in a "buoy" shape.(if I were to only look at this part I would even say higher than 20%).
First thing is to ensure you are EATING optimally and RECOVERY is also where it needs to be.
Changes will always occur using gear however optimizing/maximizing results requires you to prioritize your bodies needs and FOOD with RECOVERY will always come first.
It would seem your body is still responding in an exaggerated rate since you were born female which will be useful to your goals.
However, always make sure your nutritional needs are a priority as more gear without the proper nutrient intake will hinder response.
Be safe and train for PURPOSE!
Thank you very much
RustyhookerI think youre diving in too fast.
Hi,
Could you develop a bit?
From what I understand I'm the lower age limit to try starting cycles because of hormonal developments still happening and so on. However, I'm quite a particular case, I've been pining test E e2w for 6 years already as part of my HRT and I have no testes, which I understood to be a blessing in disguise as it eliminates the need for PCT, and de facto prevent some testosterone production related side effects.
RustyhookerMeaning that its not necessarily the addition of chemicals but how you push foods and diet as your number 1. On these forums theres been plenty of ladies that transformed with anavar or test and anavar. Less harsh but highly anabolic. Then they slowly moved up in dose or tried low dose androgens for mass. Of course giving time off so body can "normalize" back to hrt levels. Cholesterol, rbc, high bp etc.
Id search for Grrl in the ladies lounge. Shes super smart and shes strong as fk too. Cool person to get direct info from.
Mmmh in what way is Anvar or test less harsh than nandrolone? I would have thought of the opposite.
Like from my understanding, nandrolone is harsher than test in the sense it is highly suppressive(but in my case, I couldn't care less), however, it aromatizes a lot less to estrogens than test, just need to keep an eye on progesterone.
I understand that anavar is a lot less androgen than test but is regarded as one of the most hepato-toxic steroids, hence why I originally ruled it out against nandrolone.
anadrol is one of the most hepatoxic, Anavar is fairly mild. Don't I got those first two confused when I started haha. But considering that you have now transitioned to a man, I don't think you should worry about what you really use. Most women are using compounds such as anavar, primo, or nandrolones because they are the least likely to cause you to develop male characteristics. If you have been only using 125mg/wk. I would still consider yourself relatively sensitive. I would start with 250mg/wk. (that is double your current amount of test) half of that being your prescribed and the other half coming from ugl. You should also still use something to lower estrogen because estrogen will compete with androgens for the receptors. Estrogen also increases something called SHBG which removes how much testosterone your body can use by binding to it. Estrogen will also cause fat gain and will make you carry water.
RustyhookerMight research the ladies lounge. All the answers are there.
Best of luck to you. We are all hormone enhanced here you shoul fit in just fine. Merry Christmas.
Thanks. Merry Christmas to you as well.
Welcome. Lots of good info and people here. Hit the magnifying glass up top and give it a go.
Thanks!
Thanks as well for helping me localise the research button, wanted to do some research on specific topics and tried for 10 mins to spot it before you told me! xD
