Welcome brother vhman to the 40+ club. You have landed in the right place for advice, research, and source reviews. Any plans to visit your Doc for TRT options ? There is a TRT group within this community that is most informative. Cruise with Doc blast with the community ;-)
Thanks. I visited my doc about a year ago and had my levels tested. I don't remember my exact T levels, but he stated that they were low. He said he didn't like to prescribe TRT's and that I should try natural boosters. I had already tried some, but I took his advice and tried several more. Some were "OK", but none were great. I need to find a new doc that is willing to prescribe to me. I will look for one and get my blood work done. I have already found some great advice and I appreciate yours.
Been down the same road bud with my old doc, he was very closed minded so I had to move on. Went to a new young doc, fresh out of med school, a regular ball of fire. He critiques my blood work to the tee before recommending andro-gel. I mentioned to him I had negative results with that rub on junk so he put me on injections. As long as I give him bloods twice a year he is willing to script me.
It not a matter of getting just getting a script , it a matter of well being. Definitely feel 100% better with a TRT protocol in play. But it needs to be done right, with bloods, monitoring, and education. Looks like you are halfway there if you are here.
Throw on a pot of coffee and check out the forums and keep us posted.
