Old guy, not trying to compete with you young bucks....but still have some things to learn

ad

Hey guys,

Wanted to introduce myself. 56 yr old guy that used to be in shape before a few knee surgeries, shoulder surgeries, ankle surgery and back surgery. Still hanging in there though. No other health problems.

Couple years ago was low-T, about 300. Soft, fat and mentally fuzzy. Went on TRT regimen of 300mg T weekly, 100IU HCG daily with a Sermorelin kicker. Great results brought T to 1000 rock solid and steady.

Did that two years straight, never any sides, never a shutdown. While feeling great, losing weight and recovering some muscle mass, I was not making the kind of progress I wanted to fully recover from my injuries.

I decided to ramp things up a bit and have done a couple cycles, the latest has been a 13 week cycle of 450mg T, front-loaded EQ tapered to 300 weekly with 100IU HCG daily and Anastro as needed. Much better results, some tender breasts but handled by the anastro. BP and all else good. T in the range of 1200, with clear loss of body fat and rebuilding of mass. I am about to ramp down with Clomid and Nolva and will do some type off before doing a cutting cycle that I'll post later.

I will never be doing the kind of cycles you guys will - I know it is far past my time of life to create that kind of body...I will be doing light/moderate cycles that interplay bulk/cut and time off.

The areas I am most interested in is balancing on/PCT/off cycles, managing a little more complex stack and understanding the eating/exercising regimens so I can pick the right workouts for the results I want.

So don't rip on the old guy when he jumps in asking a stupid question

At your age if you arnt having problems I would trt my friend then you could cycle a higher dose test and eq time on = time off so if you run a small cycle for 12 weeks then drop everything but only lower test to trt levels for 12 weeks also if you like eq that much ( I love it ) you need to run it for 16-20 weeks my friend also minimum of 600 mg per week and you will see a lot better results. As for as test 150-200 mg per week while trt and 500mg while on a cycle split twice weekly dose of 250 hope that helps welcome aboard as well you old fart Smile

At 56 you will soon have to decide whether to stay on or stay off. PCT is likely already no longer an option. Your bounce back from a cycle is a longterm proposition. And frankly, why torture yourself at this point?

After re-reading your post am I reading right that you stayed on two years? If so just forget about going back to natural unless you don't mind feeling like shit for at least 6-12 months or longer, considering your T was already low, maybe never..

I know I can go back to that TRT cycle, but it's too low to really feel like I'm recovering fast enough...hell, I'll be dead before I get to my goals, which are not that aspirational.

Is doing a stack of T and EQ forever really an option? If so, sign my ass up....but I'd be surprised if that is so.

EDIT: Sorry I did not answer your question, yes, two years straight, not a single issue.
