Hey to everyone here! I am new to the site. I am couple months into my research into AAS. I am considering doing my first cycle. here's some of my personal info. I am 48 yr old Male, 5'6" 158 lbs. I have been athletic and active in the gym on and off all my life. ex military, (Army).
5 years ago I quit drinking, 3 years ago I quit smoking, 15 months ago I decided I wanted to get back in the gym and build muscle after about a 10 year absence. When I first went back to gym I weighed 143 pounds. After 15 months of hitting the weights hard 4 days a week and cardio on and off twice a week. Also completely changed my diet. I have not step foot in a fast food restraint in over a year, no processed foods, nothing out of a can, all fresh, whole foods, I now weigh 158 I am currently around 14% BF. I have gained about 15 lbs most of which is muscle. I was probably only around 12% BF when I started cause I was doing nothing but cardio before I started lifting and had lost some weight.
After about a month and half research I have decided this is the site I would like to start communicating with others about AAS on. I have also earned that it is almost always suggested to do some form of Test. for your first single compound cycle. However I am leaning towards my first cycle being just be anavar, and a good PCT for after. I am not looking to get really big. I would just like to add about 15 more lbs of LM over the next year. I have a few concerns and that's why I want to start communicating on forums and get some feedback. Here's an example of the first cycle I am considering:
Mild first cycle:Anavar
1week: 30mg@ED
2week: 40mg@ED
3week: 50mg@ED
4week: 50mg@ED
5week: 50mg@ED
6week: 50mg@ED
7week: 40mg@ED
8week: 30mg@ED
Clomid 50mg@ED for 3 weeks

One question I have is what is the correct waiting period between my last dose of anavar and first dose of clomid?

Also should I take something during cycle to keep my levels from dropping to low to help with recovery after?
Or is this over all cycle mild enough that its not necessary? And is liver protection necessary? (n2guard)

I see this pot has gotten long for an introduction sorry about that but I have lots of questions still. Guess I will see what kind of response I get from this one and then ask away. Thanks in advanced for any advice, your input and knowledge is appreciated!
