Just saying hi. I'm just curious if there are any other CrossFit junkies here? I would really like to get some opinions on gear and training.

Crossfit....that's a naughty word
I wouldn't just crossfit with anything you take tbh. Lift first, eat. A lot.
Right now I'm doing 5/3/1 program 3 days a week with CrossFit skill, mobility, and light metcon (not more than 10min) in between lifting days with Sunday rest. I'd really hate to lose my conditioning trying to gain strength and size but I know I'll have to sacrifice a little to make any gains. My diet is 1000 cal above my tdee and fairly clean. My goal is to compete in the open 2018.
thats awesome goals man. my mom owns a crossfit box so im there all the time. its hard to really gain muscle when crossfitting but there are def many ways to adjust and do so. i did crossfit alot when i was younger and i was in great condition. once i started to slow down on the wods and incorporate bodybuilding workouts and ate quality food is when i actually started to gain quality muscle mass. theres nothing wrong with crossfit although people joke about it all the time But like i said it gave me the greatest conditioning/agility/mobility/and endurance more than any other program. however i was playing football at the time so i benefited from it but nowadays i couldnt do all that shit that they write up on the boards lol. A GOAL WITHOUT A PLAN IS JUST A DREAM so write that shit down keep researching keep dieting and most of all good luck! there are tons of posts on here about putting on muscle and if you need help with anything feel free to add me and send me a pm.
unreal89At 155lbs you need food brother not gear..
Oh ya I'm a long ways out. I got my macros finally dialed in where I'm gaining 1-1.5 a week and doing a strength bias program. I plan to be were I want in a year or so and have no problem waiting till then to even consider using gear.
If you are trying to gain weight I would personally drop cross fit and all cardio all together eat as much as you can and when you can't eat any more healthy wolf down a bowl of cereal or anything that you can even if it's "junk" Food to get that extra in and be lazy as possible... don't worry as much about weight as I would good form and technique just my opinion I'm no expert but I'm a very hard gainer and the great part about being lean is you stay conditioned year round.
Looking good bro and whatever you decide wishing you all the best +1 for positive attitude and determination it'll get you far
Thanks twisted its a marathon not a sprint for me I just to do a lot of research and talk to experienced people before I do anything that's why I'm here.
