Hello...very new and tired of the physiology I've ended up with at 49...

ad

Yeahhh, I'm run down wore out overweight and just plain out of pep. Up until my early 40's I had huge energy and could control the fat build up with ease. Very active. Now, at 49, I feel wore out. I keep gaining fat, I'm more tired every day, and I'm looking and feeling like crap.
Recently had a hormone blood test done and it shows my testosterone is dropping and I'm edging towards diabetes. Not good. Doubly so when I'm the owner of a health food and nutrition store!!
For years I've toyed with the idea of steroids and building my body, but never REALLY needed it..until now. So, I would like some guidance, if available, on how to start?
In my twenties and early 30's i was a bit of a gym rat. Lifted allot and kickboxed. Now, it's all I can do to get out of bed! I really think if I get on some cycles that will help me with my desire and ability to get back on the weights and finally be able to build the body I've dreamed about.
Okay, nuff said. I'll answer any questions needed to outline a program if anyone is willing or able to help.
Thankx in advance.

K, thanks. I was wondering if that wouldn't be the case. The spending some time training naturally to strengthen the tendons and connective tissues and the muscle themselves before jumping into steroids. Makes sense. Build the base before the mansion. I was reading some of the "how to's" in the forum and found some good advice in those as well.
Okay, just got to figure out what I need to take to get the "huptoo" going so I can actually start a workout program again. I'm just so run down by the end of the day I don't want to do anything! grrrrr

And btw in run down by the end of the day to and a lot times don't have the energy to go lift. And I'm 24. But what do I do? I go fucking lift because I wanna reach my goals. A lot of times in exhausted by 7 o'clock when I usually go to the gym. But I get it don't. But I love the gym and it doesn't sound like you do. You gotta either develope a love for the gym or become addicted to the results. Both will drive you to your goals. Me personally I love to lift and I love the results .

Like I said man my dad's 53 and he's in better shape then when he was in his 40s Maybe even better then is late 30s. He dropped from 250 to around 200-205 over about 9 months. He wasn't counting calories or anything. He just cleaned up his diet and started excersisimg 5-6 days a week. Steroids should be reserved for guys who are very very serious about building there body to freaky levels or athletes. You can build a great body naturally, steroids are there to break through genetic limits if your not happy with your natural physique. So what are your goals? To not hand to inject insulin three times a day for the rest of your life and have energy again? If so then you so not need to do steroids. You might need to get on testosterone replacement to feel good and energetic again but those doses are much lower then what is bodybuilders are using.

So what are your goals? Do you wanna look like a bodybuilder or fitness model? If not you do not need to stress you body with steroids.

Steroids are not the answer at this point in time. You need to get on a solid diet and workout routine. My dad made some lifestyle changes almost two years ago , started eating more healthy and over about a year he lost 45lbs. He was taking a medication for high blood pressure, and high cholosterol which he no longer takes after he lost weight and started excersimg. You can't even look at it like getting on a diet, it's a lifestyle change. If you really have low test you should talk to a doctor about the possibility of test replacement therapy . It has improved the quality of life for countless men.

In order to use steroids responsibly first you need to do a lot of research, I'm taking about 6-12 months of reading everynoght about it. And you need to be in good health prior to starting and being on the verge of diabetes is not what I would consider healty. On top of that you need to spend a few years training naturally, bulding a base of muscle and stregnthen your tendons and other connective tissues. Steroids are not magic, you must know how to eat and train before you touch them and it takes many months or years of experimenting wit different types of diets and trainin routines to find what works best for your body.

My suggestion to you is forget about anabolic steroids for a long time, go to your doctor and talk about possibly getting on trt, start excersising and get on a good diet. We would be happy to help you with your diet and get you on a solid training routine. If you lack of energy is really due to low test then maybe get that squared away first so you Actualy have the energy and motivation to get on a solid program. Let me know if you want any help with your diet or training. But steroids are out of the question.
