USPS Notifications
ad
Curious to know what you all think about signing up for electronic notifications. Ideally, it would be nice to stay in the loop to know when something is out for delivery/ready for pickup/etc. but this also risks plausible deniability in the event that it's a setup. Expecting to hear people say this is paranoia but I think this is a valid question and could easily see it going either way. Thoughts?

Hampers, but you still can claim you ordered what you thought were Legal sups. Whereas before you could say you didn't order it at all. It's hard to prove intent unless they have the entire transaction spelled out.
There are 3rd party companies that will track packages from every carrier if you want to be "paranoid" safe by not pinging USPS with your IP.
If you want to be in the loop because you're too lazy to check, post the tracking number here and we will alert you of any changes.
Just in case, DON'T post your tracking here, what the hell are you thinking??
Hey thanks man, I appreciate the offer!
Tracking number: "CLUELESSN00B1E"
Please let me know when it's ready for pickup. Thanks again! :-)

Like this? Id rather be paranoid than in bracelets

Thanks for sharing this, much appreciated.
Its too late, they already have you on their list now. Run!!
Well shit guess I won't be sleeping at home tonight after all :-(
Yep, move to another country man lol
lol hope you’ve been well boss. It’s been a minute.
Still batshit crazy, thanks bro
Don’t do that. If you must track use a vpn and check it manually. Or use a 3rd party tracking site like 17 track
Alphamale500Imo, there's no need to get any special notifications, and I wouldn't risk doing that. You can just track it with the TN on the usps tracking site or whatever site you use.
RustyhookerHell no. More proof you know whats coming. Ties your ip to your pack to your house.
VPN avoids the IP issue but I still agree with the overall premise.
unreal89But even domestic can get seized so don't think that won't happen either it's all about who sends it how good stealth opsec they use to protect you.
unreal89Always use your name using a fake can cause undelivered packages or fake address like a drop will do the same. There not gonna kick down your door for a few vials unless your buying bulk powders. And FedEx ups can open packages at anytime while USPS needs a warrant unless it's caught in customs your local USPS can't open a package without a warrant regardless.
You talking about informed delivery? I get emails daily and it screen shots letters and package tracking numbers. Unless you go into the informed delivery app, it's not showing that you are monitoring something. You get to see it all via email.
If I'm understanding you correctly what you're referring to is the general notification service USPS offers. I tried that for a while and just found it to not be worth it considering most of what I get daily is junk mail, etc. (just saying for me personally). What I'm asking about here is specific to a particular tracking ID. My inclination is to pass on it but was just interested in gauging the opinion of the community.
I use informed delivery too, know what's being delivered every day. Mainly just bills though...
That I would use if it was available by me. It wasn’t last I checked. I need to check again
Yeah check again if it's been awhile, they constantly add new areas as they put the equipment in to do the scans.
Just checked and it’s available. Wham-o
Lol, perfect! Now you, like me, get to see all your bills twice - first a scan then the real thing when you get home and collect the mail
I do like opening the email from them though and seeking I have a pack coming.
Yea I’m pumped and I don’t get many packs but I do like the plausible Deniability built into the tracking that way. If you get updates on everything... who’s to say I’m looking for anything.
jayiskpeople check their package tracking all the time for normal items. so its no different with gear. as far as they know its a regular package like the millions of others.
now if you try to contact customs when your pack is making its way through them...,then you will have a problem.
I totally get that. The likely good of checking tracking coming to bite you is very very small. I just rather play it safe.
I've got a pack that's been inbound into customs for two solid weeks now. I'm gonna call and see what the damn holdup is
Might have something to do with that cargo container full of cocaine they found in the port of Newark that came from china......
jayiskbest if you showed up in person with you gym clothes on looking jacked up. this way they will know what pack is yours when they find it..lol
no joke but a long time ago when people were smuggling small amounts of gear back from cruises to Mexico they would train the custom agents to look at a person built and check if they shaved their forearms and shit like that .
Lol, wear the tightest tank I own and drive up there with an ez-curl and plates in the trunk so I can catch a good pump before walking in? And luckily I just shaved my arms a couple days ago, so I'm good there.
That reminds me I gotta take a hedge trimmer to my back and arms. Starting to become short sleeve/tank weather around here soon and I’m lookin like a warewolf
I got laser hair removal on my back and upper arms. Like 7 treatments and I swear it’s worse than when it started. I wonder if it’s useless against test.
jayisksame here. been letting it go too long cause of the cold weather. but today hit 75 and that was a wake up call. chest and back hair can add a good 5-10 degrees hotter to my core temp..lol
Lol you ain’t kiddin
Exactly and it will display tracking numbers arriving soon. Unless you physically go in the app to track, I think we're good. No difference then tracking through the website.
Yep, or just use 17track
Right, 17 track is what I've been using so far. Just thought it might be nice to get a notification for missed delivery during the day so I'd know to stop by the post office on the way home. Not a big deal though... can always just grab it the next day (unless its Sunday).
Ace Ventura.
The problem with not using your real name is if it goes to the post office you won’t be able to pick it up without an ID. I don’t sign up for notifications I just track it. Keep in mind most USPS employees are pretty awesome and just looking forward until retirement. I wish sources would use fed ex or ups because it’s not federal. Also boarder patrol/customs has way bigger fish to fry with the opioid crisis and all the actual drugs coming over that are profitable but the boys in blue could come knocking at anytime. I just usually keep my gear stashed somewhere only I can find it just in case. I always stress with every order I place this is why people use domestic sources.
Alphamale500Yeah I totally agree with you about the problem with using a fake name. Like you said, if you miss delivery or whatever and the package goes to the post office, you won't be able to pick it up!
Get tracking numbers and don't order the stuff using your real name! Then you're safe.
Alphamale500That's true but keepmovingforward has a point. If it goes back to the post office, you're fucked!
TrenLiverYou can always get notifications via text.
If you’re that paranoid get a prepaid cell from cvs.
PARANOIA
To avoid paranoia i just get mine straight from the under cover cop at the gym. Then i dont have to worry about them coming to my house to arrest me
lol yes yes, as expected.
Just seems sketchy to be entering full name and email for a specific package because then obviously you were expecting it and knew what it was.
I see saying to get info on certain said pack then no, but informed delivery shows all your mail through email and shows what's arriving. Unless you go into to the app itself and track the actual package your good.
Hahahahaha
