I do bcp 157 and hgh to help heal after a flair up.
In my case I have Crohn's so I don't absob iron well.
I spend a lot of time making sure I avoid overly processed food.
Lean chicken, white rice, green juice in place of veggies as the fiber rocks me.
Make sure you are getting your trace minerals.
I can't do nut butters, I can tolerate butter so I often get extra calories that way.
I have never been diagnosed but have suffered with many gastro issues over the years. Here is a couple of things you can try that has helped me.
Peppermint caps after meals, keep them in the freezer so they don't dissolve until they get all the way down.
Slippery elm bark 20 min before every meal.
Vitamin c 3000mg a day
Probiotic Pearls 1ed.
Zinc carnosine (pepzingi) 1pill am and 1 pm.
Tudca 500-600mg before bed.
Good luck brother, this shit sucks....no pun intended
AnonTaking Ginger daily will combat the nauseous bloated feeling. It has a bit of a burning sensation in your stomach for a few minutes but then it's all good.
Make sure you eat things that agree with your stomach and the ones that don't quit eating. Increase frequency of food and eat a meal before bed. I'm guessing your very lean and underweight. When you sleep you have to have calories in your stomach. If you don't you will gave a real bitch of time gaining any weight.
I eat everything very bland,, always have ,, so that works out in my favor,, but the occasional pizza,, tomatoes sauce ,kills my gut... did 6 months on gh helped out alot but at the same time shredded me which is ok , but I have the anorexia complex of always being under weight which I'm not,, but always fighting to gain weight without causing any flare ups. Always eat an hour before bed ,, I know it's not the best thing but it does work
I feel horrible for you. My wife has crohn's and I have watched her suffer for years. Our only protein source is basically chicken because any red meat will make her absolutely miserable. Her gut would swell up so bad at times that it looked like she was pregnant. We finally found her an amazing probiotic that has been a game changer. Not all the probiotics we tried worked. What ever is in the brand is amazing. She was on all different kinds of prescription meds that never did shit. Don't get me wrong, she still has bad days but not near as many as she used to. As far as will they how you and I would need them to. I'm not sure. She still doesn't process food very well. I'm just speaking in terms of symptom relief and the gut swelling.
NotNatural23An alkaline diet can be very beneficial to it. Like I said before diary is not good for humans past about 5 most people lose the ability to digest it. Enzyme therapy and probiotics are helpful. My mom suffers from some kind of inflammatory gastrointestinal disease and I know how debilitating it can be. Tumeric is great for inflammation also.
NotNatural23I am telling you that the modern diet of Americans is what causes us to be sicked and full of inflammation. Research probiotics and try to get your gut balanced out. Avoid any antibiotics unless it is pretty much for life saving situations. cut out the gluten and dairy for sure. take a good enzyme formula to help digest food properly as we get older these enzymes are less effective or go away. if you use protien get a isolate or hydro kind. no milk, whey concentrate which is a waste of money. no micellar casein. Egg is good or beef . If I come across anything else I will let u know.
NotNatural23Bro I feel for you if it was anything like the antibiotic colitis I got. It was 2 days of hell thought I was gonna die on the dam toliet at one time but took like 3 weeks to fully heel needed probiotics bad to balance my gut flora back out. Try some good probiotics that helped me alot. Best advice is to figure out what flares if up and what doesn't and keep your diet like that. They say the peptide BPC 157 is suppose to heal stomach ulcers do some research and see if it might cure the ulcers in colon. I am not a Dr. so what I say is for information purposes only. good luck
Quit any dairy lactose cause inflammation in the body once I cut down to barely in dairy my gastritis in my stomach went away. If I have pizza or say any dairy more then barely any it flares up stomach ache and cramps. Also try a more alkaline diet the more alkaline hour body is the less disease and inflammation your body produces.
Thanks for advice ,, been on probiotics seem to help out alot,,, working on eliminating gluten next
NotNatural23Diary I promise you within 2 weeks you will feel alot better if you cut that out. I would do both if you can. Diary is big business billion dollars so they try to keep all the negative stuff out of consumers hands. or if you can't cut diary out at least buy a lactase enzyme. Humans are the only mammals that consumes diary after we are a baby.
Heaze2016Nut butters, add oils like flaxseed oil to soups, smoothies, etc., nuts if you can tolerate them, eat more starches like potatoes and whole grains.
Tried different things, have problems with peanuts and peanuts butter lately but sure why ,, no allergies,,
NotNatural23nuts can be bad for some people they can't digest it. There is a good articles about why nuts should be fermented first before we eat them. You ever wonder why squirells busy nuts after they collect them. So they can bury them or let them ferment. I wish I had the article to post but is a very interesting read.
I don't think that squirrels burying nuts has anything to do with 'fermenting' them (which would require some form of yeast).https://animals.howstuffworks.com/mammals/squirrels-really-organize-nuts...
Mod, sorry posted in wrong forum,, suppose to be in general talk.
