Thinking of trying hgh this year?
ad
I've tried all kinds of things over the past 10 years but Never tried hgh but always wanted to. You only live once and I wanna at least try it . I'm thinking of just running 2 ius a days for 3 or 4 months. Any cons I should weigh out before decide to go for it

I find that no matter the dose, I have not observed a deeper sleep, because of HGH. And that's both while on a blast, or just TRT cruising.
I do find though, just about every injury I have, whether big or small, my recovery is simply FASTER. At my age, you can't put a price on that. And it might be very subtle, but I think the skin on my face is looking a bit tighter and younger.
I take 3IU every night before bed. I do have concerns about rising insulin sensitivity (not in the danger zone, but confirmed in bloodwork), so I may take an extended break sometime later this year, but for now I plan to run this for at least a year straight. And this is with me doing my best to wait at least 3 hours after dinner before injecting.
Would I recommend taking it? Absolutely. Just pay attention to your fasted glucose levels.
2IU per day is fine
If you tend to include Trenbolone in your cycles, then you diminish your natural HGH pulse and duration during the night when you are asleep - meaning your IGF-1 level also drops. Therefore using synthetic HGH will help you massively alongside the Tren to bring your levels back up to baseline and also surpass them.
Where do you even keep all this information? You are a living encyclopedia. I’m beginning to doubt that you are even human.
Its just thousands of hours reading online mate, stuff I will obsessively research if I think there is a positive outcome from doing/using things. One thing leads on to another area and in turn you learn more and more. If you have a genuine passion for something then its enjoyable to do so you will have no problem consistently doing it. Makwa that use to come on here also knew a lot about literally anything muscle related.
I just recently added HGH to my routine. Started at 1iu to assess tolerance. Literally the first day I slept like a baby. Upped it to 2iu for a little while, all was good. So I jumped past 3iu and went straight to 4iu per day, split 2iu morning and 2iu before bed.
I have never slept better and I already appear to be losing fat and gaining muscle, although I’m not sure how much is placebo or not but the sleep is definitely not a placebo effect. If what I was told is correct, HGH doesn’t make muscle cells larger but it does create new ones, unlike steroids which can increase muscle cell size but won’t create new ones. That’s probably why HGH and steroids compliment each other so well. I wouldn’t expect HGH by itself to make any substantial gains.
I’m waiting for bloodwork results to see what my igf1 levels are like before going past 4iu because it seems there is a pretty sharp curve of diminishing returns with this stuff.
I’d definitely recommend at least trying it but be prepared to go through insulin needles like crazy haha.
Forgot to mention that recovery is much quicker. Probably because igf1 levels are increased (presumably) and my rest is deeper and I fall asleep quicker so I get more sleep and better sleep. Mood seems slightly improved and my joints feel a bit better, probably from the increase in the ability to recover.
Once my bloods come in, I’ll either keep it at 4iu or up the dose accordingly but I personally plan to keep it going as the sleep/recovery aspect is worth it to me.
anvil1Iu isn't even replacement therapy dose, results of GH take months to see.
"HGH doesn’t make muscle cells larger but it does create new ones, unlike steroids which can increase muscle cell size but won’t create new ones. " This not even remotely how GH works and you should not be posting your experiences to hype GH, all of your posts are nonsense.
"I’m waiting for bloodwork results to see what my igf1 levels are like before going past 4iu because it seems there is a pretty sharp curve of diminishing returns with this stuff." Bullshit, show any scientific reference for this. Aid's patients are medical prescribed 18iu a day, you are going to tell me a healthy individual weighing well over 200lbs is going to see less returns then 120lb aids sufferer. It is way wiser to not say anything here then to prove you know nothing at all.
Growth hormone (GH) doesn't directly create new muscle cells (myoblasts), it plays a crucial role in muscle growth and repair by promoting myoblast fusion and increasing muscle fiber size (hypertrophy), which is a key process in building muscle mass.
A simple google search could have helped you at least sound smart. @Codyw1771 please ignore this post, guy is a classic troll
@No08
To be honest mate - Makwa always use to talk about how HGH promotes Hyperplasia (new muscle cells) by increasing IGF-1 levels. He mentions it in a lot of his IGF-1 posts and HGH stuff:
https://www.eroids.com/forums/hgh-peptides/rhgh/hgh-%E2%80%93-how-much-a...
anvilYeah but it has been debunked, IGF1 works in the recruitment of satellite cells. I guess the best example is a cell is designated for in your case armpit hair, but IGF1 recruits it for muscle instead. You have the same amount of cells but it used for a different purpose.
Edit: Love the article ,don't see anything about that in there but great one for sure
He mentions Hyperplasia when talking about Bodybuilding Doses in the 4 to 8iu range, and in his second comment down. Its in many of his other IGF-1 posts too.
anvilYeah I don't claim to know everything just what a regular non medical doctor brain can absorb and interpret. Here is the actual quote from pubmed supporting what I am saying. I guess in a sense its a new muscle cell but from a cell that was already created, so it could be interpreted in more than one way.
Myofibres are post-mitotic cells, and their nuclei do not proliferate. New myonuclei are provided by a population called satellite cells (reviewed in Zammit et al., 2006). These cells lie just under the basal lamina of myofibres, and are normally found in a quiescent state. Once activated by exercise or muscle damage, satellite cells proliferate and fuse with existing muscle fibres, thus providing new nuclei for hypertrophy and repair. The absence of a satellite cell proliferative response following γ-irradiation of the muscle limits hypertrophic gains
So are you saying IGF doesn't recruit it for muscle?
anvilYes it absolutely does, it takes a cell that was designated for whatever and sends it over to the muscle, but it is the cell you already had. So it doesn't create new cells. This a reason why people take breaks or cruise because all possible cells are being used to build muscle instead of liver repair or whatever. If we were creating new cells then everything would always be in tip top shape...
Although 1iu is not even a replacement dosage I wanted to start low and go slow just to see how my body reacted. If that’s not something you agree with more power to you.
Everything else I said was either my anecdotal experience or information I learned from sources I considered reputable such as more plates more dates, vigorous Steve, etc. If you do not agree with their assessment that I regurgitated, once again more power to you.
anvilVigorous Steve does not state 4iu or more might have a diminishing return on steep curve he literally takes 10iu a day. He definitely has not stated it creates more cells, because it doesn't. So I am unsure what you are even saying. This post is 14 days ago, you posted 25 days ago you hadn't ever tried GH. So in under a month you are sleeping like a baby and recovering like a beast and growing more cells.....joints have recovered also. Amazing bruh!!
Vigorous Steve wasn’t the one who mentioned a steep dropoff, it was MPMD, and the dropoff happens WAY after 4iu…like 12iu to 16iu if I remember correctly, maybe even farther. I wasn’t very clear on that so I can see how it looks like I imply that the dropoff happens around 4iu. The dropoff is steep but farther down the line. I swear one of them said it causes cell creation so I’m going to rewatch them because now I’m not sure if I’m crazy or not.
Honestly I slept like a baby literally the first night I tried it. I thought it was placebo but it kept happening. Any increase in recovery is most likely due to the better rest since I’ve started GH. Even my sleep number sleep score reflects better sleep so I really don’t think it’s just me wanting to believe.
Idk if I’m growing more cells or not because I can’t fit myself under my microscope so I can only speculate. It definitely hasn’t turned me into a monster unfortunately but maybe one day I’ll be satisfied.
anvilExcept they do these things called "studies" and publish them, that's how you gain insight. Yeah "research some more YT" There is a drop of? Please link me the study that shows this, and someone said something on the internet?? So did I...I gave you the medical information that states GH doesn't cause cell creation...I just fed the troll I know but it's not this often someone knows this little about something and I get to sound smarter than a third grader LMAO
Like I said I’m going to rewatch the videos. If MPMD said it he usually mentions the studies. If there’s anything pertinent in there I’ll be sure to share.
I’ll also be reading the link you posted. Thanks again, man.
Edit: I can’t find any medical information you linked.
For OP @Codyw1771 :
I rewatched the videos.
1. In this video
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HB4FRBm2XbQ&pp=ygUSaGdoIHZpZ29yb3VzIHN0ZXZl
Vigorous Steve breaks down various types and categories of HGH and secretagogues and what to look for and what to expect. At the 8:56 mark he suggests running HGH at 1iu for a little while to assess pip, soreness, or any other adverse effects, especially when trying HGH from a new source. This goes along with the old mantra of “start low, go slow” that has been widely accepted as a good idea. Yes, 1iu is very likely below a replacement dosage so it’s generally not recommended to run it that low for the long run. Which is exactly what I did as stated in my original comment to your post.
2. In this video:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ssVp1pTH9ak&pp=ygUaaGdoIG1vcmUgcGxhdGVzIG1...
Derek from More Plates More Dates talks about this study (also linked in the description of his video):
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/10580755/
This study had a few groups of healthy guys taking various doses of HGH. One group took 0.3iu HGH per kg of bodyweight which, for a 100kg male, would be 30iu HGH every day for a period of time. This group peaked their Igf-1 after 4 days and it remained peaked for the duration of the trial in the ranges of 405.4-786 ng/dl according to the study.
Derek’s observation is that he was able to achieve an Igf-1 level of nearly 500 ng/dl using 3iu HGH so there may be some sort of a down-regulation response made by the body. Also, why take 30iu if 3iu can get you in the same ballpark? He starts talking about this around the 4:00 mark but it’s worth watching the whole video and reading the study linked in his description and I also linked it above.
3. In this video:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=w3SgBRIefTQ&pp=ygUMcnhtdXNjbGUgaGdo
Some guy that I’m not too familiar with makes the claim that HGH has an effect on satellite cells and other biological functions pertaining to the creations of new cells, namely new muscle cells. Up above in the comments press1 also linked some of Makwas posts that also claim that HGH plays a role in facilitating biological functions that result in the development of new muscle cells.
In conclusion, OP, this is why I started at 1iu, this is why I wanted to get bloodwork done at the 4iu mark, and this is why I was led to believe that HGH either directly or indirectly facilitates the creation of new muscle cells. I’m not a “flat earther” or a “troll.”
All that being said, Vigorous Steve is NOT the end-all-be-all of AAS. Derek is NOT the end-all-be-all of AAS. The mystery guy in the third video is NOT the end-all-be-all of AAS. YouTube is NOT a perfect source of information. The single study that was published on pub med that Derek was evaluating is NOT the end-all-be-all of AAS. Also, Derek never showed us his bloodwork so he could be full of crap. You should always take everything with a grain of salt and do TONS of research. And, if you’re not finding conflicting information, you’re not looking hard enough.
However, if you find conflicting information, it’s a good idea to investigate it instead of disregarding it as “trolling” or “stupidity.” I hope this clears up why I did what I did and helps to solidify that fact that I’m not out here “trolling.”
To @anvil :
I rewatched the videos and found nothing pertinent.
Starting at 1iu was a dumb idea and does not adhere to any bodybuilding/AAS mantras or practices.
Doing bloodwork at 4iu to check Igf-1 levels before upping the dosage was a waste of time and money because there is not even one study on pubmed or anywhere else implying that a huge dose may not be necessary.
There was no evidence or implications made by anyone in the medical community or on here or posted by Makwa and shared by press1 that may or may not imply that HGH has a direct or indirect role in the creation of new cells whatsoever. It simply does not exist.
I hereby dub you as “Anvil, The Mighty Troll Slayer” and bow to your overwhelming superiority in all things. I promise to never reveal any anecdotal experiences with other members on this site for as long as the Mighty Troll Slayer rules the land.
anvilLMAO
Debates are really good, I come off sideways sometimes but honestly I just want people to have a good idea of what they are doing. Everything in the medical field is conflicting.
For me, HGH is like the cherry on top of the cake; it's the most honest drug in the world. If you're doing everything right, it polishes you, helps you lose weight or, synergistically, helps you grow, improves your quality of sleep and recovery. But if you're not honest with it, it won't give you anything, and it could even make you diabetic. For me personally, 4iu a day for cruise. I don't see any effect on hypertrophy with a dose lower than that. For longevity, I've heard a lot of people say that 2iu is enough. To turn you like a beast, from 8iu a day onwards, the sky's the limit. Regardless of what you decide to do with your life, do your own research and try it out low and slow and build your way up(that would avoid some mild sides effects like carpal tunnel syndrome, bloat, etc) don’t forget bloodwork and igf1 test is always good to know your baseline before start to run it, some people don’t care. But yes, I think it's very worthwhile to use HGH only if you’re living the life style, IMHO
T2DgearI’ve heard people say they develop some insulin resistance as well as carpal tunnel symptoms. I can’t imagine you’d experience those at 2iu/day but everyone is differen.
I recommend that you use HGH, which is a legal and pharmacy product, for your health.
2iu is not anything. You blood test or just have huge financial support? Igf1 blood test. Hgh is not impresdive at all unless needed. Its like smoking a menthol in the ghetto because it looks nifty keen
Hgh alone won't make a big diff especially at such low dose. I agree.
HGH made the biggest difference out of almost any drug for me personally
Saying “HGH isn’t impressive at all” is some tom foolery. Every pro and anyone who’s “big” uses HGH.
Pro's are also using at least 10iu's per day, many 20iu's Plus and are also stacking it alongside naughty stuff which supposedly multiplies its effects many times. If the member is just planning on using 2iu's per day I'd say leave it, 4iu's per day then it may be worth it.
I'm honestly just like him I haven't tried hgh
I know at some point soon I'll try it though
If he's not planning on working up to at least 6iu daily night as well just run mk677.
And if they're gonna do 6iu daily plus they'd probably have to use the naughty stuff.
I also think the naughty stuff gives them that mass way more than hgh. Cuz it makes it so you can take in 1000 plus grams carbs daily.
And we all know what this shit really boils down to is your diet. Without that you won't grow.
I'm glad you said that all for me mate LMAO I was just being conservative with the 4iu's Lol
I run 4-5 iu daily when I’m on cruise and when I blast depending on what else I’m running it will be 8-12 iu plus the taboo
Agree on the dosing, but the overall “hgh isnt impressive” is completely BS.
Subjective at the least.
I know dozens of others who would agree if they had to choose a single thing that’s made the most monumental changes it’d be GH.
Also, you’ll never “have” to run the naughty with it. Sure if you want the synergy/ability to load and want to take the risk it will go to another level. You don’t have to use it though. Many other safer alternatives while getting similar results.
On lower dosages you can get good results without the naughty but you start going over 6-8iu a day and your just pissing in the wind without it and would get the same result from lower dosages
what safer alternatives you are referring here that give same benefits as GH??
Not referring to GH. Referring to the “bad stuff” he mentioned you have to start using after 6iu+. There are tons of other things to regulate slin sensitivity and get the benefit.
I am all for GH if you didn’t get that. I know a large handful of others that would agree if they had to pick one peptide or hell even thing for prep it’d be Pharma GH.
I was playing devils advocate as the conversation group seems to be not convinced that GH is worth it, and I feel the opposite.
Always like to hear other sides.
I wasn't being confrontational about it mate, just discussing it that's all.
Oh yeah I know brother that’s why I played devils advocate and wanted to hear more about the opinion!
We’re way past that buddy
Thing is though buddy, is every time I have directly asked a member to list what they find good about running HGH I never get a great response back other than 'it means I can eat what I want and don't get fat, my hair/skin and nails look good'. Is that really worth spending a lot of money on every month I wonder - I want to hear they have put some notable muscle size on, some strength, joints and tendons feel better etc. I just get the feeling a lot of guys run it because it sounds impressive saying 'I run Human Growth Hormone' especially to those who don't train.
@press1 It’s kinda hard to point to gh as the thing that’s giving you size gains when you’re also running aas that you absolutely know are giving you those gains, imo. The biggest effect I’ve noticed from gh on my current cycle is that I have put on very little fat despite putting on 30 lbs in 10 weeks. Part of that is probably just a natural consequence of diet tightening up over time but a lot of it is from the gh. I’ve spoken with other members about this and they all agree that the nutrient partitioning effect is real at the 4-8iu range. I’m not as experienced as a lot of guys here and my physique is still a work in progress but I do believe the gh has contributed to it positively over the six or seven months I’ve been using it.
anvilAsk me !?!
anvilRecovery is the thing I noticed the most. Skin and hair definitely helps but #1 thing for me is recovery. The speed the muscle groups are ready to be trained again.
It is well documented that 1-2iu is below replacement dose for a 40 yo. Over 3iu you will have replacement dose depending on age and other bio markers, but I have done 2iu and had no tangible results. 3.33 is the lowest dose I can notice it and I have gone to 10iu daily, which was really good but then my wallet takes a hit. I been using it 18 months straight no breaks.
So the rate at which it speeds up muscle and tendon soreness is very noticeable then? Have you tried going back to not using it for a month and compared the difference now you are use to it?
anvilNever coming off of gh unless I have too, I train 7 days a week obviously not a traditional ppl split or anything, and cardio 6 days a week and two day x2 sessions. But after my next cruise , I have enough to push 5iu a day for the foreseeable future and that excites me. But I have the anti aging benefits also, skin , hair , no sleep help , and fat liberation might be slightly better than before.
Tell Me, My Beautiful Anvil - All of the joys that running HGH brings you
anvilLMAO
Those are guys who haven’t run it properly. 100% in those things mentioned.
Tou-fucking-chè ...... matey
Well said.
Yeah i just had to back up what you were saying an break it down a Lil so they get it fully. Lmao
Cuz i think your right.
Bro don't waste the mental bandwidth on it. He's a troll.
