+ 1 The easiest and most painless injection site. A post for those new to pinning
I've been pinning for about 5 years now and wanted to share my favorite injection site for beginners who likely don't know about it (I know I didnt). It will be a simple short post
It's called the ventral glute. It's right under either hip. Put your hand there and then put weight on that leg and you will feel the muscle flex.
https://thenursepath.blog/2016/12/12/how-to-give-ventrogluteal-injections/
Here is a link for a photo of the pin site and an explanation of all the perks of using this site over other sites with more veins and nerves to worry about.
My favorite things about pinning in the ventral glute is that it can be done with just a 5/8 needle, and pip is always minimal. It makes trt or cycles much less uncomfortable as you usually won't be able to notice you pinned at all but if you're pinning Ed or every other day I suggest using other sites as well from time to time such as the typical glute sites.
One additional thing to add is a common tip to reduce injection pain is to "pull the skin back or apart" To make the skin thinner and easier to penetrate with the needle. I actually DO NOT recommend this for beginners because if your hand slips mid injection and the skin goes back into its normal place then the needle is going to shift inside your muscle in whatever direction you were pulling the skin, it's not a pleasant experience so I suggest not doing this until you are very use to giving yourself injections. Besides, if you're pinning in the ventral glute it's very painless anyway.
I hope this is helpful information and helps those out there that are new and hate pinning and weren't aware of the ventral glute injection site

One thing I'll say for the people in this game either long term or forever- you are best to inject glutes only, I'm not talking about on blasts or short estered cycles, but for the longs / trt and just your cruising etc use glutes.
Scar tissue will build up over the years no matter how good you are.
Rotation of sites absolutely but as the years go by generally long estered is the way to go rather than ed pinning etc so go glutes.
I'm actually missing chunks out of my quad muscles due to constant pinning in them when I was younger, my Delts are still crunchy/ scar tissue and all I think about is wishing I used glutes only instead.
Get a lambs fry from the butcher, inject just 1ml of the juice your using, cut the lambs fry open the next day and see what happened, it goes like aerated chocolate ( aero) because the carrier essentially cooks it, the same happens to you muscles ( that warm feeling) cooking ya muscle fibres on the inside, over time especially with abuse you start noticing, myself I'm missing noticeable chunks in the side of both quads, never had quad infections either its just from hundreds if injections in my mid twenties, a lot of high dosed gear also like test 400/500/600 tren 250, prop 200 etc stay away from high dosed stuff as the carrier is higher also.
Thanks. I agree. I've used only glutes and vent glute for over 2 years now but I always hated pinning delt and quad but had to sometimes when pinning multiple things everyday (my 1 and only insane advanced cycle) just to rotate.
I rotate all over and maybe 1 out of a 100 times I’ll feel something. Easiest part of the cycle is pinning if you ask me.
Long esters never bother me.
I used to use my sholders cause i was nervous about doin the glute. Then i had my girl do it for me.
When i kicked her out i had no choice but to man up n just do it. Its not hard n feels way better.
Ventro might be a lil harder for newbies than you make it sound.
StevebInject some Bold Ace in your ventral glute and let me know if it hurts or not.
It hurts. As does test p. Just not as bad as other spots. Like if I pin that crap in my arm I'll be feeling it way more as I'm going about the day.
That would probably feel ad bad as when i injected testP into my virgin calf muscle. Holly hell
If you cannot take the pain this is not for you. Sometimes they hurt sometimes they don't
Ventro glute is a great spot to utilize in rotation. I’m PIP sensitive, and compound dependent, it’s not painless for me. But it is easy once you figure it out. I wouldn’t just recommend 5/8” needle though as that’s dependent on body habitus. Most people should be good with a 1”. Always wanna make sure you get into that muscle belly! And never more than 1ml into a new injection site imo. Will minimize negative reactions.
Good point with the 1 mL max, but perhaps for a different reason I think. Personally, while 500 mg of test is considered the end-all-be-all, written in stone, archetypal “first cycle,” I think it’s a tad excessive, and that 250 mg would be plenty to start. Hypothetically speaking, since we’re not referring to anyone in particular.
However, were someone to do 2 mL on his maiden cycle, it’s kind of a pick your poison situation. Either shoot 2 mL in the glute once a week and get lots of pip on one side or shoot 1 mL in each glute 3.5 days apart and get a little less pip but on both sides. Another good reason to stick with 250 mg on the first time!
I disagree. 200 is what the average TRT patent gets.
When you're taking test you're shutting yourself down.
IMO, I would guess 250 UGL test would bring you right back to normal, or very near normal range.
Pinning 500mg spread out over 1 week is two 1 ml injections each week using a 3/4 day split. It's impossible to pin on a 3.5 day schedule. The half day is day 4. I doubt if anyone ever suggested a once a week injection for anything other than TRT
Adding the ventral glutes or delts would make for a safer 4 site rotation.
RustyhookerI must be super lucky with the phizer fyre. 75mg every monday morning. Or bonus of being knee high to grasshoppahs. Lol
I understand what you’re saying. From most of the testing I’ve seen, most UGL test is oftentimes a bit overdosed if anything, but you’re right, if someone IS getting underdosed test, he’s basically running a TRT “cycle.” You’re absolutely correct, and I hadn’t thought of that. 300-350 might be the sweet spot with UGL stuff. I do think it’s nice to go a little under 500 mg for the first time, but you make a great point.
3.5 can be done using AM/PM
For example, Monday morning/Thursday night
12 hours isn't going to cut it. It's still a 3 day injection schedule with the odd day being made up each 3rd week

Looking at a week as being 7 day blocks it appears like you're injecting 3 days one week and four the next.

3.5 days would look like this which is impossible by practicality.

There’s no need to rotate the days like that. Just Monday morning, Thursday night, repeat.
If each shot is done at, say, 8 AM and 8 PM respectively, that’s exactly 84 hours between each administration.
that's a 3/4 split as I originally mentioned.
This is what I do and I call it 3.5 days (not that it matters what label I give it)
e3.5d = 3/4 split = e84hrs
It's the same thing fellas.
Agreed, however using the term every 3.5 days suggests a day rotation as I've demonstrated above. And really, a 12 +/- hour pinning delay is negligible and unnecessary.
I hear ya.
I tend to ride my estro as low as I can so the 12 hrs tends to matter for me, if i go over it, that is, and complete a full 4th day
Ah. I see. I like the way you put it better. “Every 3.5 days” like I put it is a little vague. I see now. Thanks
I used to split my 200mg cyp into two shots per week but the last year it has been just once per week and I don't seem any worse for wear.
Everyone says that, that the ventro glute is the most painless site. And it technically is, in my own experience. But at the same time it is and isn’t, for me at least. I hate glute shots because they’re physically awkward to do, since the easiest way I’ve found is to lie on my side on the couch. I can’t do it standing. It is painless. Feels like a dead area. Least pip, so I agree it’s best for beginners.
That said, for me, the meat of the lateral deltoid is the easiest, most painless spot. Some people make the mistake of jabbing from the side; much easier to internally rotate and adduct the shoulder a bit and pin the side delt from the front on an angle. A 1.5” can be buried in there all day long. Guys use too small of needles and get scar tissue near the surface.
I believe you’re alluding to Z track technique? It is handy to avoid bleeding out, but you’re correct, it’s better off left to when the person has experience administering his (legally prescribed) hormones.
I do this area also in my rotation, but I still feel the glute is the most painless and safest of all of them. Outer thigh is another favourite unless hitting a damn nerve or vein on the way in then it makes for a bad day lol
I feel ya. When I first started pinning, the quad was one of the first places I pinned and it was terrible, I limped for 3 days. It was because I didn't know wtf I was doing of course and wasn't holding the needle steady at all. Still refused to ever pin quads again cause making up excuses at work as to why I was limping was just not cool lol. I only pin the glute sites these days (trt), doubt I'll ever run a cycle again now that I have 2 kids.
Ventro Glute*** shit man learn to check before saving
