Testosterone Levels vs. starting TRT
ad
So here is the deal, before I started this last cycle, my Testosterone level was only 372. A lot of doctors say that is in normal range but I feel like it's low. At the end of next month I will be ending my cycle and doing PCT. I was wondering what your opinions on starting TRT after cycle? I am worried I will feel like shit again, depressed, and not have any motivation if my Test levels get back down to that.

372....why trt? You realize test levrl differes daily and by whats in your life. Food, stress etc etc. Natty test is not just level on some chart
And youve not been off cycle since you started posting. Shopping for a go ahead....why? You aint listened yet
I am not off cycle because it's not time for my cycle to end yet. I do blood work and I am feeling great so far. The reason I ask is because at 372 before I started my cycle I felt like shit and had no ambition to do anything.
I was right where you are, 375, and felt terrible. Anxiety, clouded head, problems with my dick… Specialist in my network wanted to put me on at least three different drugs. Benzodiazepines, ED meds, SSRI’s, I shook his hand and left. Got a prescription from a clinic and felt the best I had in years. Treat the symptoms, not the numbers. After seeing how easy Eroids made things the choice was simple. Good luck with it all buddy.
Thanks man, I feel the same like I felt always tired, depressed, not wanting to do anything, overweight exc.. I think after my PCT I may go find a clinic and get prescribed.
I wouldn’t do it after PCT, I’d do it before PCT. Your test levels should be super low 2 weeks after your last shot of a long ester. That’s the time to go in and have them do bloodwork.
At that number I would, shit, I did, and it was a game changer. You’ve already found the way though, I’d continue using your source on here and do some post cycle bloodwork. See how 100mg a week treats you to start out. Get full panels done.
That is a good idea, I do always get full panels when I do my blood work.
Brother, the truth most won’t say…
372 might be “normal” on paper … but what kind of life do you want to live?
If you feel like shit, have no drive, low motivation, no libido… does it really matter what the lab range says?
This game isn’t about numbers … it’s about how you feel, function, and perform.
Some dudes run great at 250, others feel dead at 500. And guess what? Most general doctors will never treat symptoms they treat lab values. You’ll get brushed off unless you find someone who understands performance medicine(bodybuilding/open minded one) , not sick care.
Now let’s be real … if you’ve cycled before and plan to keep doing it, TRT isn’t a fix(always) … it’s a fork in the road(sometimes).
Once you go on, you’re probably on for life. That means you take full ownership of the consequences, the costs, and the maintenance. No half-assing. No “I’ll see how I feel.” It’s a decision you make based on how you want to show up every day not because you’re scared of feeling low for a few weeks.
So ask yourself: Do you want to optimize, or do you want to stay “within range” and hope for the best?
Only you can answer that … but once you do, own it fully. That’s the move of a man, not a passenger.
Hopefully you get my point.
Thanks for insight man, it's a lot for me to think about. When I was at 372 I felt tired and had no ambition to do anything. My best friend would beg me to go to the gym with him and I had no desire to. As soon as i started a cycle I am the one dragging him to the gym now. If I go on TRT I am wanting it to go through a doctor so it can be monitored better.
How did you feel at 372? If you felt good then id hold off TRT. But if you had all the symptoms of low T then consider TRT. I wouldn’t do it yourself though, get it on from a doctor. There’s a plethora of reason why you should do it under doctors supervision, and it’s so easy to get now. There’s clinics all over the place that hand it out like candy. But there’s expensive ones where Dr visits and bloods are all cash and you buy your test from them and ancillaries which can be anywhere from reasonable to expensive. Or you find one like mine that takes insurance so my visits and bloods are covered, and then they just send a script in to the pharmacy which my insurance also covers.
Being on TRT is not ideal though, but necessary for some. So if you can avoid it, you should.
Thanks man, if I do it I will do it though a doctor. I would always feel tired and no ambition to do anything at 372.
Then probably is worth considering TRT if you felt like that. Do you know what your free test was? Before I started TRT my total test was similar to yours, but my Free test was way low. The normal range was 8.7-25pg/ml and mine was 4. TRT made a massive difference for me. I’m on 150mg a week, which is still enough to keep me gaining at a rate I’m happy with.
Here is my current levels on 450 test a week with 100 deca, 200 primo.
Welcome to the party Baby!! Should of been there a long time ago mate
Appreciate it bro!
Depends if you’re done having kids. Doing true TRT at 600-800 levels doesn’t have many health risks outside of fertility. Most need around 75-150 mg a week to get there. Running 200+ a week isn’t really TRT. It has its place but it comes with increased risk of side effects. Some guys that are decently past their natural limits need a higher dose to not lose muscle. Just depends on what you are looking for and your risk tolerance.
