Brother, you don’t need more compounds right now, you need structure and consistency. Gear won’t fix bad diet or lack of routine.
First step..,figure out your TDEE (your maintenance calories with training + daily activity). From there, lock in a calorie deficit:
• Start with -500 cals/day for 4 weeks
• Then push to -800 for 4 weeks
• Then -1000 for 4 weeks
• If you can handle it, go -1200 for 4 weeks
That’s a 12-week phase where you’ll already see big progress if you stick to it. After that, introduce carb cycling (3 low, 2 moderate, 1 high, 1 zero). Keep the high carb day on legs or heavy back day.
IMO for Training you can just go basic now….So…Go with Push / Pull / Legs / Rest / Push / Pull. That’s 6 days a week. Hit shoulders twice in that split, and add 20–30 min cardio daily (skip only leg day + rest day). Fasted or post workout, at this moment doesn’t matter, any cardio is better than nothing.
If I were you regarding the PEDs:
• Keep Test C as your base, always.
• Drop all the orals … you don’t need them right now. Orals either finishers or strong anabolics, not tools for someone carrying a lot of fat. They’ll just stress your health for nothing.
• Once you drop real weight and stay consistent, then maybe add Masteron to the mix and later on bring in Anavar for 6–8 weeks to test tolerance. But for now, zero need.
Optional advanced tools … (only worth it if you’re truly committed, otherwise it’s just money down the drain): Retatrutide, Mots-C, 5-Amino, SLU-PP-332(high dose effective minimum 1mg - 5mg, starting as low as 500mcg), GH 5iu, Tesofensine, Clen/Albuterol (low dose with ketotifen). But again … these only work on top of diet, cardio, training.
At 5’8”, 245, your only priority is losing fat and building consistency. Can you build delts while cutting? Yes … but only if you train hard and eat right. Otherwise, you’ll just keep spinning your wheels.
It’s simple but not easy:
• Calorie deficit
• Structured training
• Daily cardio
• Persistence
There’s no miracle, just work. Stay on it for 6–12 months and your whole look changes. You can do it, brother … but only if you want it bad enough.
No orals. Up your test once you’ve dialed in your diet. Your delts will look much bigger with lower bf. If you can afford to run hgh for 6 months that will help. Lots of guys on here running Retatrutide with fast results but I haven’t ran it and cannot comment if this is something you should add now. I’m sure there are lots of other members who could offer more advice on this particular compound.
What does your current diet and training plan look like?
2400 cal a day 200 G protein and full body 3x a week
With your calorie intake alone if you’re working out hard 3 times a week you should be losing weight consistently. If you can, track your meals daily for a week. Easiest is to use chat gpt. Suggest your desired total daily calories, current and target weight, then ask him to suggest a meal plan. Carbs and healthy fats are important, not just protein, as is timing, especially around your workouts. Once you’ve done a week of it you’ll know without tracking what meals and when you should be having each day. Also plan your workouts. If you can only get to gym 3 days a week then split body parts up Monday Legs and shoulders. Wednesday Chest and triceps. Friday Back and biceps. Throw in some core work and cardio at end of your workout if you aren’t exhausted, which you should be. If you have your mind set on whole body workouts ensure you are doing squats, rows, deadlifts, lunges, presses. These will burn most calories, fat and activate more muscles than smaller exercises such as lateral raises or bicep curls.
Listen it's not going to be magic over night. Do you really want to do life changing physique? You need to change your diet, like eat proteins and veggies and that is basically it. Get on Retatrutide, hit the gym often at least 3 times a week or more. Break your work outs into muscle groups. One day is Chest and Triceps, the next day is back and biceps, then one day is legs and shoulders. When you do that and you do different exercises for each muscle, you will see huge changes in a few months. You will start to notice some changes just in a few weeks. I did this same thing and now I have strangers asking me how I am in such good shape. I did do a little gear cycles here and there which helps as well. Retatrutide is the king of peptides and it will change your life for the better.
Sick dad shorts! My delts started blowing up when I stopped lifting real heavy with them and started training them 2-3, sometimes 4 times a week. Check out John Meadows. He's got some really good shoulder programs.
But honestly dude, your shoulders, and entire upper body will appear bigger if you lose some weight. You're by far not the fattest guy on the planet but definitely need to drop some BF before you get on test or tbol. the guy below is spot on, get some glp gear. And start lifting like you mean it. Shouldn't take you long to make a huge difference.
Definitely keep the shorts tho.
John Meadows had some beastly workouts. RIP Mountain Dog.
Of course you can recomp. Hit delts twice a week, smaller muscles recover faster. Also id really look into sema, tirz or sema before taking orals if i were you. N low dose gh. Wait on the Tbol.
Just my opinion, take as you will and best of luck towards your goals
I respect the opinions here. And I will go with the general consensus. Why are orals bad if you are overweight? As far as the Test, it was prescribed from a doctor and it’s like 8$ a month for me. I should have another picture from before TRT. I looked much worse, just without body hair lol.
So anyways, why are orals worse if you’re overweight?
When you are overweight you're more likely to have organ stress just from the extra body fat, lower insulin sensitivity and probably some level of liver fat. Orals strain the organs (especially liver) more than injectables, so you are doubling down on the organ stress. Also 2 of the primary benefits of orals are to really fill out the muscles which you don't really notice until you are closer to 10-12% body fat, and give a boost of strength when you are cutting down hard-not something you would need while your overweight. It's kind of like when people worry about getting really dry and hard when they are 20%BF... It's not really noticeable until most of your fat is gone.
Agreed about the Tbol - wasting it in this situation. It would be better to save it for another time. Don't bother taking cardarine without L-Carnitine and run some reta for a bit first.
Got it! I was mainly thinking it could counteract some of the lipid issues with orals and help with weight loss. My goal is 200 pounds
