+ 2 SWIMMING POOLS AND INJECTIONS/INFECTIONS
ad
OK SO WE BEEN WORKING ON OUR BODIES ALL WINTER AND WE WANT TO SHOW THEM OFF. WHERE I AM AT IT IS IN THE UPPER 80'S AND THE NEIGHBORHOOD POOL OPENED THIS WEEKEND. SO MY CONCERN IS SHOULD I AVOID THE POOL BECAUSE OF RISK OF INFECTION AT MY INJECTION SITES OR WILL THE CHLORINE AND OTHER CHEMS IN THE POOL ELIMINATE THE RISK? IT IS A PRIVATE COMMUNITY POOL, BUT IS STILL VISITED BY SEVERAL PEOPLE A DAY.......SORRY FOR THE CAPS MY KEY IS ACTIN UP AND WONT UNCAP

damb good question Noob +1 from me. I'll say just give it a few hours or so after you pin to allow the injection site to heal and your good to go. been here done that a few times, pool, lake, and ocean.
noob941I USED THE SEARCH BAR AND CAME UP WITH NADA SO I FIGURED WITH IT BEING SUMMER TIME PEOPLE GOTTA BE WONDERING
All the times I've been in swamps, ponds, pools and the ocean with cuts here and there never had a problem. Your good to go I'm guessing you grew up in the city?
noob941lmao yea man....but i am in the bayou now
it will with help with acne, and if the water is chlorinated right there should be no risk of infection.
This is why I wished I lived by a beach. Ocean water is straight up miracle water. Will clear up anything. I swim in my in laws pool during the summer, so the chemicals are always in balance. I've noticed that scrapes and stuff do tend to heal quicker, and my skin seems to stay clear, and seems to look better. This is in part due to the UV rays and the chlorine I'm sure. I've jumped in the pool hours after an injection multiple times and have never had a problem, but again it's not a public pool and chemicals are properly dosed.
noob941YEA THAT WAS MY FEAR THE NEIGHBOR HOOD KIDS PISSING OR SHARTING IN THE WATER AND ME GETTING EBOLA OR SOME SHIT
For competition guys hitting the pool when prepping for a comp!...... being in the water makes the body build up a thin layer of fat to insulate the organs etc.......... just what we dont want when trying to pop every tiny vein and muscle striations.
Off season yeah swimming is great for stretching and keeping supple............ eyeing up the pool totty is a bonus lol.
Not sure about the chlorine but for you guys that are covered head to toe in Acne im sure it would help ?
noob941Damn V i never would have imagined that as vigorous an exercise as doing laps is, it would lead to fat gain, but it makes perfect sense because the water always feel cold and fat is the bodies defense against the elements.Once again thank you for the knowledge brother, it will be applied and shared as always!
I've been working on my body all winter, and now that its summer I got some nasty ass ringworm infection going on.
Finally went to the doc yesterday and got some systemic oral antifungals to fight this shit off.
Wash your hands often while at the gym, there is some nasty stuff out there.
hunteron20sYou should be good bro.the inj site is pretty much good after you wipe it with alcohol wipe, unless you use a huge size pin.
RustyhookerI wouldn't see a pin as an "open wound". I've had no problems on pin day. Tattoos etc are clearly "open" and I've had an issue in dirty water. My fault there. But see no reason a pinhole would let in a microbe.
noob941I was thinking of it as a puncture wound because it is so deep, but i am glad to hear i can swim, STAY STRONG BROTHER
Fresh tattoo in a swimming pool is bad!.....I've been there too.....lol
RustyhookerI was a real genius. I went into the local lake for full day swim. 2days later in er with iv drip. Hurt bad! Live n learn. Lol
I have never heard about getting infections from chlorinated water.
