+ 4 source discussion page

ad

I've been noticing a lot lately that people are throwing out crazy advice and cycle advice without any knowledge of the Op. Do we as a community need to make an effort in these pages to make sure we know stats before telling someone any advice. I constantly see hey how's the (fill in the blank) and how u guys run it or something very similar or even whole cycles. We make such an effort in the forums or the cycle log but the source discussion page is like the wild wild west. It just worries me cause there a lot of people that only post in there and ask all the questions they have there. Why is it because they rarely get asked for any info and that might get them exposed to been someone underage or a person that's only been working out for a month. I'm just curious if any other members of the community have experienced this or have any feedback

Nevermind your post cleared it up.

no need to take it personal if it doesn't apply to you. i was talking about guys that have run 1 or 2 cycles and act like they know everything and hand out advice they shouldn't be giving.

Got ya, it's hard to interpret words on a screen sometimes.

Lol... i know what and who you meant bro, they stick out like sore thumbs and the funny thing is they don't realise that they are so fkn obvious to the rest of us...... i wasnt jabbin at you bro, i was sorta backing up what you were saying and trying to be diplomatic :/ you know me im not known for bad language and things like that lmao!

haha so true and you are right about the si threads. no matter how much i might like a certain source i found out there's really nothing good that can come from hanging there and talking about how "fire" the gear is or whatever because it seems like no matter what eventually something will go wrong and i don't wanna feel responsible when it all turns to shit lol. happens to the best of sources unfortunately.

PIN_CUSHION's picture

Agreed, that's the business side of things. Works the same in any type of industry.

This is so true. Advising crazy stacks and high doses with no knowledge of cycle history or anything. It's not good that needs to stop.

It seems to been getting worse be curious to see what the mods think if we need to really start been accountable in there or if they even view it as a problem.Even tonight on a source page a dude puts up a cycle and people start throwing out advice so I say no cycle advice to anyone without stats. The guy wanting advice was under 170 pounds at six foot tall.and 15 percent body fat. So I post to him saying he doesn't need steroids need the kitchen and the source says basically to leave him alone and the members giving him advice. The dude had already ran three cycles. The one guy giving advice told him he needed even more than he put up. All without any stats.

Ill start flagging posts if I see shit like that. Ive seen it going on to much lately. lol needed more then he proposed. We've already gone over this but ill say it again. Some people are just idiots.

Got to ask when u flag someone do u go he man style and scream IV GOT THE POWER

I've been tempted many times but when I look at the options I can't find one for "Being a Tool" so I move on. Lol.

Alright I'll leave it to the mods. Obviously wasn't gonna go above and beyond but if someone was throwing out dangerous advice I thought it might help the mods they got a ton of shit on there plate as it is.

Thanks bro. Didn't know that.

I hear you loud and clear. SI's, as well as self pics. I learned the hard way not to respond without checking stats and info, especially age, first. It happens every day. Thankful there's a few members that don't worry about hurting feelings and speak up when it's needed.

Yes good point even self pics

i very rarely go into the source discussion pages because its a mess of all sorts more often then not, but when i have been in there i have seen what you are talking about. i guess all we can do is call them out when we see them and tell them source discussions are not the place for cycle advice that's what we have the forums for and cycle logs. lets see what the mods think. the only time i give cycle advice myself is if i feel i have knowledge to share about the topic at hand and if i don't i just shut my mouth and put my ears on(or eyes because im reading lol) and if the op in my eyes qualifies for advice ex. previous cycles, age, diet , training history etc etc. good post btw +1

It just seems there's different rules. Where no one worries bout stats or cycle history. Maybe it's me but I think we need to start holding people more accountable. It's like an everyday thing and there are some members that do hold people accountable.

ill second that motion.
