I’ve seen some boneheaded posts lately that harkens back to the old days on eroids. Perhaps it’s time to go over again what should be common sense.
KMC and I used to try and guess where and who people were based on the seemingly harmless posts peppered throughout the site. All together they would paint a picture. How old you are, city or state of where you live, car you drove, marital status, number and sex of kids, school you went to, military service, what ball teams you support, where you were born, etc, etc…
If you think it’s a joke I’ll give you an example(facts have been changed). Over the period of 6 months a user with the handle BFG posted that he was in the midwest, supported the Twins, was 45 years old, and referenced a high school in Canada. He was married with 2 kids and a dog and drove a GMC.
I subtracted 18 from his age to figure out his high school graduating year. I looked up the yearbook from the schools website (and classmates.com) and perused the pages of the seniors and found Billy Franklin Gates. A face book search for Billy in the twin cities area showed me pictures of Billy sitting on the tailgate of his truck with his 2 kids and dog.
Many of you LOVE your handle. You use it everywhere. Again, a Google search will show me everywhere you’ve posted and sometimes leads me again to a social website like face book or eHarmony.
My suggestion: SHUT THE HELL UP!!

First off genius, anyone who uses your type of language is usually much closer to actually being what he or she has called someone else. So maybe you should look in the mirror. Additionally, such a response is far to mature for someone as childish as myself.
Next, it really does not matter if the original post is 100% the truth. The underlying meaning is spot on. Everyone should be very careful at all times as to what they post on the web. There is no such thing as privacy and it is out there forever. If you truly believe that someone with minimal technical talent can't hack you and know exactly where you are from and steal everything you have ever posted you are very naïve. Forget the basic Google search, that is the least of it. They can hack major corporations and the government they certainly can do it to you. So, you would be best off keeping your wise guy remarks to yourself. If the wrong person reads your post, they just might be motivate to show you just how wrong you are.
This is just my 2 cents from one C*** to another.
P.S. Go gain some wait. You'll end up freezing your ass off in Antarctica if you don't have serious cushion of fat on your body. LOL.

I agree with misinformation for sure and as someone mentioned before using Tor or something like it is the way to go because i believe any site can get hacked. I am not a hacktavist by any means but i believe there is nothing wrong with being anonymous on the web. i could care less if the person i am getting information from is who they say they are. just as long as the information they are giving me is true.

I think it's time to start using a VPN like Hola vpn, or use a browser like TOR. I wouldn't be surprised if feds are able to hack this site, and track people's ip.
Hola will allow you to access Netflix for other countries as well. That gives you a bigger selection of A list movies.

I like this site as well as facebook. But there is a time and place for stuff. Shared some pictures with my mom on facebook. No one on Facebook knows I have a connection to site. People just lack common sense sometimes I think.
