Should I get a po box?
ad
Every package I've gotten at my new place has been little pink slips saying I need to come to the post and pick up my package, idk if this is because my mail box is to small or it requires a signature, either way its not an inconvenience (I could throw a rock at the post office from my house) but for all that should I just get a po box, they are pretty inexpensive
What you brow think?
Any of you guys got po boxes

WithdrawlI HIGHLY recommend a locally owned or franchise shipping center that rents mailboxes. There are restrictions as to what can be delivered to a P.O. box. But if you rent a mailbox from one of those shipping stores, they'll sign for everything and they accept any mail service in the world. I think with P.O. boxes you can only get USPS packages. I rent a mail box from a local shipping store and I love it. They sign for everything if needed and alert me when I have a package. It's awesome.
downside is the cost... :-(
UPS offers a box but you can have it set up as a regular street address
Anonedit: noticed you talked about how they will sign for you. My exact thoughts.
Po.boxes have always worked for me.especially since alote of international packs require sigs.
I got one for myself and think it's great. No worries that one of the kids are going to intercept a package, no more pink slips, and the added bonus; if I get a gift for a family member they don't see it before I get to give it to them.
Not to mention the box is really inexpensive to rent.
FYI: I can throw a rock at my PO too... but it would come up about 3 miles short.
I'd talk to the post office before you order any more packs. Try to get it settled with them. If not you can look into a box of you'd like but I feel there's really no need for one. Maybe because your super uneasy about what's inside that package, it might be sketchy. Br truth is hundreds if not thousands of people pick their package up right from the post office every day...expect Sundays of course ;)
I always use boxes, but i travel alot and sometimes unexpectedly so its nice to know the U.S. government is protecting my gear for me ;)
I don't think you need a po box.
If you don't mind picking up your packs.
It's better then them leaving it at your door and someone else taking it.
Save the money and buy more gear.
@thepullmanator file a complaint with the post master general. Tell them your not getting your package at your home even when your sitting there waiting. They will leave it after that even if it requires signature. Atleast that what I did. Never had a problem since. They even put it in front of my door sometime.
