+ 8 Self Control and Eroids
Not naming names here but look guys, if you are having a bad day and are pissed off at the world don't show up here and vent it by doing things that WILL draw Mod attention. Do not go on a negging spree, or flame the source du jour or anything else that will inevitably be self destructive for you. Before you click send or the down vote button just stop for a second and make sure this is what you want. But be mindful when your victim comes to us we will find out it was you and will have to do something about it.
The same holds true for you guys that hit up every source under the sun for samples (free gear). It is only a matter of time before that to will also come back and bite you in the ass. When you have 15, 20 or more reviews in the last year we are already probably watching and waiting for the evidence to roll in. Don't be that guy. Honor is the word for today.
Most of you guys that have reached at least level 1 have built up some ties to eroids, whether it be in the SI's or forums. Our reputation here may be basically worthless in the outside world but I know it means something to me and I bet it also means something to you guys as well.

Swonky...Well said Pale. My yoga classes are getting me in touch with my inner sensitive. Think before acting because every action has a reaction. I used to to the same thing and use this place to vent like fb or something. Usually if I sit back, re-read the post, count to ten, and rethink I talk myself out of it. Yall have more important shit to worry about like protecting our freedom and assets. Great post!

I am guilty of some of this. Mainly I need to work on how I word things. I've started proof reading everything I've wanted to post and in all honesty in the last week alone I've changed my mind on posting something at least five times. Not because I didn't want to post it but I dint know how to write what I wanted to say to get the point I was trying to make across without coming off the wrong way.

Good post though, I don't see lines being crossed too often (aside from bickering back and forth sometimes). I think the issue here is some people are too fucking sensitive on the Internet, and when someone is being blunt and comes off as brash they receive it with hostility.
I thought when I read "self control" this might have been Ed starting rumours about my recent incontinence problems. He promised he'd keep it to himself too :(

My take is that self control is part of being a responsible adult. If you can't control yourself you shouldn't be here. Man up. Pretty simple.
I should have probably added a whole extra paragraph for the young guys. They need the guidance even more. Oh well, I will have to ponder that one and put it together for a later date. lol
Young guys or just the immature at heart. Just because you're a certain age, doesn't mean you act like an adult unfortunately. When the young folk act like fools, I'm not shocked. When the "adults" act like fools here, it's pretty disturbing.
Regardless, it's good to know that the mods and other members are always on the lookout for this stuff.
Unfortunately, often times we are late arriving to the scene of the crisis. That is where you guys come in to play and try to clean up the scene before it gets out of control.
