Seeking advice. Cycle Log 1 listed in cycle forum

ad

Seeking Advice: Give it to me straight. I don't intend to start this cycle until the modifications are done in accordance with the advices I receive here from this community. Thank you in advance.
34yrs old
5'6"....5'7" on a good day.
BF% unk. No longer able to see abdominals. Assuming 18%
Started cycling in 2011: 250mg/wk for 10 weeks test c. Cycled on and off for a few years with Test E and EQ @500mg/wk each for 10 wks. Began Sustanon/Deca/Dianobol cycles a couple years back and enjoyed them, however, my most recent cycle ending Jan this year put a lot of bad weight on me and it was uncomfortable. Hit 229, and I'm currently between 208-211 and don't want to weigh that much again due to loss of mobility.
I have no desire to compete. I am cycling for a few reasons. I like the way I feel on cycle mostly. I can look in the mirror and be happy. I have nothing to prove otherwise. Second, my body is pretty beat up from my time in service. Cycling offers me the feeling of my early twenties when I could operate through anything thrown my way. And libido of course. On or off cycle when I am consistent with my cycles, my libido is youthful. In all, I enjoy the accountability of routine, scheduling, and discipline required to see results.
I'm simply interested to see how my body will react to this cycle. I'd prefer to stay under 215, however, as long as my mobility remains, I wouldn't mind more weight. 13% is where I assume I'd like to be with BF%.
Concerns: First time running HGH. Any advice would be appreciated. Decided against TREN through good advice from a member. Also, is HCG dosage appropriate? And, would running Dbol @25mg/day for first 30 days, and finishing the last 8wks with anavar @25-50mg/day be reasonable and safe? Again, I'm simply interested to see how my body reacts to this cycle.
Supplementation and Diet: Daily. I take in 300-330g of protein/day (75-100g in supplemental shakes), 300g of carbohydrates (some bad, but not many), 75-90g of fat. Creatine, BCAA's, Multivitamin, Preworkout, and Fish oil are the only other supplements I currently take. Any additions I should consider, please advise. Sleep cycle 7-9hrs per night. I wake at 5am everyday M-Sun. I may have 2-3 adult beverages per month socially as well.

Purely based on the psychological drivers for what you want to achieve (feel good, look good, beat up body needs a rest/less grind, libido, while enjoying dicipline etc.) I really think you could do with going on a diet driven cut and focus on boosting natural testo.

Honestly, I think if you spent 6 months getting into great shpae and boosting natural testo, I think you could really start enjoying life, all done without accumulating damage from the drugs.

Just a though man, and just because AAS are likely going to help you not achieve some of those things.
Just a thought.

Seabreezy's picture

I promise I'm not out of shape. Thank you for the input. I'm here to learn as much as I can.

giardap's picture

I absolutely do believe you. Honestly wasnt suggesting you were not. More a suggestion that AAS could see you; not necessarily improve where you are now. Depends on usage.

Seabreezy's picture

I apologize man... the way I wrote that sounded defensive. Wasn't my intention. I do have a question regarding a low dose of HGH. Is a 2IU/day dose of HGH something that I could benefit from while I get my BF% down before implementing an AAS cycle? I'm implying running HGH several months or more. I can afford to run for as long as I'd like, and would like to get a head start if it isn't a bad idea. What's your opinion?

giardap's picture

Most people on here, if you chat with them, will tell you how awesome GH is. Im different in that i investigate things by reading and then experimenting on myself.
To me, there is only 1 reason to use GH and that is as a replacement if you shut natural gh down. Ive used up to 10 ius in cycles. It doesnt do anything positive and gives horrible sides. Even when it gets igf numbers high, it doesnt really seem to build much new muscle, if at all and certainly doesnt cause hypertrophy.

Igf lr3 is where it is at for hyperplasia but it shuts gh down, so when it does; a mere 1iu eod is enough to supply gh for other bodily processes.

GH is the single biggest load of nonsense in the AAS game.

But yeah it causes lypolysis and at 2 iu. But again, if you read about what it truly does to the body you will see that lypolysis aint worth it. Id rather eat smart now.
Read about what gh does over time. Check out non-AAS sources of info and decide for yourself!!

Seabreezy's picture

Right on man. I read a bit about it, but everything seems to promote the positives as if it were the fountain of youth. I'll dive in much deeper now... I rolled through a few things that mentioned even low doses can cause blood sugar issues involving insulin tolerance, or something like that. Kinda had me thinking twice at that point. Also, not a fan of hearing the terminology 'shut down' when it comes to the natural balances in the body. Thanks for your time responding. I appreciate it.

giardap's picture

Sorry big man! Whenever I log in I tend to go to the forums rather than profile where the fr's pop up.
Accepted there.
Sorry about that man!

It's 2IU/day... I have the cycle under the cycle forum listed as Cycle 1

press1's picture

If you keep negging me I'm going to report you.

Greg's picture

You negged him on the tren comments, now he knows.

If you're going to neg someone, own it.

Greg's picture

I'm not giving you shit for negging him, I actually agree with you and negged him myself. I posted why

And you are right, you only negged him once before & bumped him once before as well. You have no vendetta as press may have implied

Sounds to me like you are looking to run a cycle to feel good and drop some BF. Running a cycle just to feel good is something that will backfire on you in the long run. Cycling is hard on the body and you will pay for the consequences in the long run. Get your test levels checked by doc to see if low test may be affecting you. Maybe you need trt which will improve your health while blasting a cycle will deteriorate it. Two totally different things here.

Now as for your goal to drop some bodyfat, cycling can assist with that. It is foolish though to run a cycle though starting with 18% BF and wanting to drop it. Starting with a BF that high, it will carve off just like butter with a proper diet. No need for cycle yet. Once you hit a fat loss plateau, which should be pretty easy to around 12% with just diet, then it is time to bring in the cycle to drop it further while sparing muscle.

No point in cycling with high bodyfat since you can drop it pretty low without losing any muscle at first. Once you have to bring in more extreme dieting and calorie restriction to drop that bodyfat is when you bring in the cycling option. Now we a talking about getting that bodyfat into likely the sub 10% range. Going to need a cycle to do that to spare lean body mass. You have no desire to compete as you say so the best cycle to run now is some test with a var finisher. Pretty easy recipe for success here.

Seabreezy's picture

Hey man... Thank you! Looks like I'll hold off for a while, and focus on getting my shit together. I looked over your stuff, and I'm interested in finding out how you calculate your intake. Not asking for you to teach me, just letting you know that I am starting to research it all. I appreciate your time. This is exactly what I needed to read.

Makwa's picture

First you need to figure out your TDEE.

https://tdeecalculator.net/

You also need to track your calories so you can accurately adjust them if you aren't losing weight or losing it to fast.

https://www.myfitnesspal.com/

Start with 500-750 cal deficit. That should have you losing 1-2 lbs/wk, adjust cals in order to hit this goal.

Seabreezy's picture

Makwa... this is awesome! THANK YOU! Started a log book this morning.

press1's picture

Reading through your goals again I would drop the Dbol and just run the anavar, you won't have to deal with the oestrogen and water retention sides it causes as weight loss and steady muscle gain seem to be your main goals. On paper its also much more anabolic so I'm even starting to wonder myself whether its better to run for more muscle gain with less sides etc.

Seabreezy's picture

Thanks man. Makwa has me full blown interested in getting my BF% down. My goal now is to simply hit 10-12% regardless of what weight that puts me within the next 20 wks. I'm used to a heavy cardio regiment, and although my knees and hips are probably going to hate me, I'm going to reassess from there. Some of the other members mentioned natural test levels. Perhaps, there is something underlying I'm not aware of yet and I plan to get some blood-work done within the next couple of months to find out 100%. If my test levels are good, and everything checks out, then I'm going to resubmit a possible cycle for review of the community. I definitely want to do it right, and mitigate as many long term risks as possible. I honestly don't think I'll run Dbol again anyway. As I mentioned before, I put a lot of bad weight on because of my last cycle and lack of experience. From what I'm reading EQ is one hell of a great compound... and I've run it several times before unknowingly cutting the cycle's too short to see it's potential. I assume the less orals I opt for in the future, the better. But I have read some really good things about anavar as you mentioned. I appreciate your input man.

press1's picture

Good one buddy - You always do what you want to do and what you feel is best for you personally. I'm sorry if you felt pressurized by what I said in anyway yesterday, I should have backed off earlier when it became apparent you weren't comfortable in taking it. You will love the E.Q - it was the second ever compound I ran together with test in the earlier days and I got some great gains off it. It makes you feel awesome mentally too Smile +

Seabreezy's picture

I didn't feel pressured man. Its all good. I was literally about to start a cycle in May that contained TrenA @ a ridiculously dangerous dose. This community saved my ass, so I intend to attempt and make the right moves with the advice I'm getting here. I just want to do it as safely as possible. I am curious about the compound most definitely though. I like hearing about the benefits, but I know I need to focus my attention on what bad could come of it in the future... if that makes any sense. I just wanna feel good, and look better naked...I think I speak for most of us on that

press1's picture

You decided against tren because of the advice of 1 member - I assume they personally don't like it or can't tolerate the sides?

Greg's picture

I didn't know there had to be a consensus. So I assume you'd suggest tren because you like it for yourself? Not because it's what the guy needs or can use.

This has got to be one of the stupidest comments you've made. You're goading someone (and other young readers) into using tren because of peer pressure.

Seabreezy's picture

Maybe in the future I'll give it a try. I have a lot to learn, and before I give Tren a go, I need to focus on what it is I'm looking to achieve. I was warned of its potency and without the desire to compete, its better to leave the compound alone until I get a better understanding of what I'm doing.

press1's picture

Why would you need to compete to use trenbolone? Bodybuilding/PLing is all about competing with yourself everyday - improving what you see in the mirror or on the barbell. Of course its entirely up to you though not encouraging it lol, you have to be mentally strong to be able to run it.

Bearded_muscle's picture

Press, careful bro.
GENERALLY yes it is only encouraged to be used if you’re competing in sport like BB or PL. Reason being the brain damage, liver damage, kidney damage, heart damage, and lipid damage we KNOW beyond the shadow of a doubt that it causes. That and the horrendous mental state of mind it can put you in.

Now we’re all adults. But I’m sure you can agree that to simultaneously and irreversibly damage all those bio systems at once, you’d better have a damn good reason. And it better not be because you’re going to Cabo next month lol

giardap's picture

Well said, and well balanced. +2

pickle's picture

God damnit now i have to drop the tren

looks at plane tickets to cabo next month with a frown

Seabreezy's picture

That makes sense. I agree, and I like the way you said it. I hear Tren is known for causing aggressive reactions to things usually ignorable. I'm not hot headed, and have a strong grasp on my emotions. I definitely want to give it a try in the future, but plan to hold off until next year. If you don't mind me asking, how were your first experiences with Tren?

johnmarshall12's picture

You have to decide what you want to do and what your goals are. We can't think for you! One hint though...if you do HGH begin it 4 weeks or so before the cycle! You make reference to HCG out of the blue no hint whether you're using it for PCT or part of the cycle.

Seabreezy's picture

I appreciate the input. I understand what you mean about me needing to figure out what it is I want to accomplish. This is where the lack of knowledge and experience has me. I have a lot to learn. I'll take your advice about the HGH. May I ask why you suggested it? I'm only curious, not trying to be defensive. The reference to HCG: My intention is to use during cycle for atrophy prevention, and in PCT followed by clomiphene and tamoxifen.

Seabreezy's picture

Makwa commented on a post of mine. I'll read over his stuff. As for the other things you said, I'm not sure I understand what you mean but I want nothing from anyone except advice. Thank you for the guidance.

Bearded_muscle's picture

He means come with more already in mind.

The reason we don’t just shoot advice out left and right is if the wrong person comes along and seeks an “expert” opinion on something cycle related, then maybe we send some poor kid in over his head.
He gets hurt because I said go ahead and run some anadrol with that EQ and he throws a blood clot and dies. (This is an exaggeration but you get the idea)
If he comes along and says: hey I’ve cycled x number of times, this is what my bloodwork looked like, this is how I’ve recovered from pct, I’ve never had issues in the past with regular donations, which orals would be the best choice stacking with EQ for adding maximal size and strength at the beginning of the cycle because in my past EQ runs I’ve been disappointed with how long it took to get things rolling. I’m looking at anadrol, dbol, or tbol.

THAT is a guy I’d feel comfortable chiming in on. He’s done his homework, knows his body, invested in bloodwork and protecting it and is PCTing properly. (He’s probably a little smarter than your average gear user as well)

Looks like you got a good head on your shoulders and your post does have some good detail. Just work through what you want and how you’re going to get there a little more and guys can help along the way.

Seabreezy's picture

Damn, this is great. From what I've looked through so far, there are some post by folks that had me in disbelief. I don't blame y'all one bit. I'm glad I decided to join the community bc I WAS planning on starting a cycle in May -of course I now see how bad of an idea that was and will not. Going to get some blood work done, and chat with the doc about my natural test levels. Then figure out how to get a BMR. I figure in about 6 months, if I have my crap together, I'll start asking more questions about compounds as you mentioned. Thanks for taking the time to comment and tell it to me straight... its much appreciated.

Seabreezy's picture

I appreciate that man. I could have really screwed myself up. I know there is a ton of experienced individuals here, and I'm happy I decided to give Eroids a try. Thanks for the warm welcome
