+ 4 Running AAS/HGH causing low bone density?
Alright let me try to keep it simple but hopefully this is enough info. I've been on this site for a long time been through a few EBC's where you can see a sample of my cycles. But over the course of my AAS and hGH protocol throughout the years I ended up with some serious medical issues. No I'm not saying any damage to my organs or fucking up my endocrine system but very poor bone density! Over the end of 2013 finishing my first competition in the superheavys I kept up to another contest in spring of 2014 and throughout summer although lessening my pursuit to take a much needed break ending up having major sciatic back problems in the the fall of 2014.
That is when I cut all gear and hGH. Prior to that my typical use was using sustanon 300 2x a week and towards the last 8 weeks of competition running a typical cut stack of 100mg tren/75mg prop/ 50mg mast p everyday up till the last week of the contest. Along running adex and the typical hGH was 4iu's/day. I have used probably 2 years straight hGH all the way up till my last contest in spring 2014. After that I was just maintaining cruising on gear and lifting/training others. From that time to Fall 2014 after having a microdisectomy of the L5-S1 my surgeon really was concerned with my poor bone density.
He basically said I have bones that looked like he would see in a 60 year old! I thought that was like very strange since I ran vitamins was not deficient in vitamin D or calcium. I did very heavy sets of squats and deadlifts that increases bone density. Along with hGH that should improve bone health.
So what happened? My doctor thoughts were that using AAS my muscle was so anabolic that it sucked nutrients from my bone. Now was he wrong? While after my surgery I still suffered extreme pain and luckily after more ER visits I was sent to a family friend doctor who found out my left hip also had issues. Genetically my hip joint where the ball of the femur was too big and it basically shredded my whole labrum I was close to having a hip replacement but he smoothed out the labrum I now have a thin wall and he also shaved the head of my femur bone to fit in properly. After he was done he also exclaimed at how terrible my bone density was saying it's that of a sixty year old.
Is this a genetic issue? Was it due to running the gear? Has anyone had a similar experience? I am a graduate in biomedical sciences and ran everything properly to a T doing my due diligence in research etc and waited till I was 27 to run gear as well as get as far naturally before pursuing AAS. So I only ran gear for about 3 years and hGH for 2 years I am now 31 and I don't know if I had issues before but I sure as hell learned I did after. Well I thought I would throw this out here to see if anyone has any input. I've still been having back issues having injections and if that doesn't work I'm going to end up having a L5-S1 fusion! But my new neurosurgeon center is actively looking into this issue and having me complete a bone scan. So I should have more information soon! Thanks for reading this and comments in advance!

I've blown the disc at l4/5 twice. Not sure why you're still doing deads and squats. My next stop is fusion too, and I have to be very selective with my lifts.
Can't comment on the bone density though...
YourdadThis is very interesting!!!thanks for posting it. Bone density is one of the HGH sides with long term usage. Acromegaly and bone density....because you use it for very long time....combining with heavy weights all day. We are humans not robots
