+ 2 Rotator cuff

ad

Well 3 weeks ago in the gym I blew out my shoulder. My rotator cuff decided it had enough and ended up with a full tear along with minor tear to upper bicep the wife was standing next to me and heard the pop and yes it hurt .I just had surgery the past Monday. I was very happy I got a nerve block. Once again another 3-4 months of just cardio and a lot of leg days lol. So far I have tore both ac joints tore both rotator cuffs right lower bicep and left upper bicep all in the last 10 years. This time I am hoping the bpc-157 with healing . 250mcg twice daily in shoulder.

Can’t offer any great recovery tips that’ll be game changers, but best wishes for your recovery fella. My arm has just come out from the sling after labrum tear surgery so I feel your frustration.

Only good thing that has come from all this injuries I did not skip leg days and now great calf’s now to get healthy at some point to have upper body match the lower body.

You do exactly what I do, hammer legs. I even purchased a seated calf raise for home gym especially for this surgery “recovery”. Kept me partially sane at least lol.

Good work there.

Mate I am seeing soooo many injury and surgery posts these days, RC's and pec tears are defo the most common ones, then the accompanying upper bicep tear. I thought I had done a full tear on the right a few years ago, but somehow it healed even though at first couldn't hold my arm up for weeks. I had an RC tweak on the left a month or 2 ago which has now gone thank god. From my own experiences and others I have seen, you never really know when these things are going to happen so you just cannot plan for them. When you think something may go if you keep pushing it often never does! Age definitely plays a part in it all too. Something I cannot recommend enough these days is Bovine Collagen powder mixed in with your EAA's or normal post workout shake, it keeps collagen levels high and feeds the constant tendon repair process after lifting. Collagen protein is made up of different proteins to normal whey and also in different quantities so don't just assume because you drink whey it repairs tendons because it doesn't. Rolling up against a spikey massage ball in the shoulder joint helps generate blood flow to the area which tendons have a very poor supply of compared to muscle and definitely speeds up healing I found. Vitamin C helps collagen formation also.

Thanks for the tips . I know I need more collagen repair and healing to many tendon injuries for me.

Man I wish you a speedy recovery. I can't relate myself because I've been very fortunate to not have any muscle or tendon tears. But we never know when it's coming. So what I do appreciate is the fact that in today's time we have all kinds of healing aids along with better surgical methods. We've come very far. I see you mentioned a peptide, so hopefully that helps. I'm not too familiar with all the various peptides but again wishing you wellness.

I have been researching last couples years on different peptides and what ones work good for what . So now I have been using a few last 6 months and glad I did. They have made a difference for sure.
