Reverse Dieting
Morning, Looking for some advice on reverse dieting. I had been restricting myself to 1800-2000k cals for about 10 months. I lost 55 lbs from 222-168. I increased my cals up to 2500-2600 (200-230g of protein). I’ve noticed I’m putting on weight pretty past up to 175 dry weight in the morning in 2 weeks, 180ish during the day with wet weights. Have I increased cals too fast or is this normal to gain as quickly as I have? I don’t feel like I’ve put on much fat in the two weeks. My physique looks almost the same just a little more water around mid section. Cardio every day is between 10k-15k steps. Lift 5 days a week Wed-Sunday (Mon-Tues cardio only). Any advice or past experience on how you handled calories is appreciate.
Drugs: Currently on 300 of test cyp with daily injections, 3 IU GH before bed and BPC 500 mcg before bed.

Whenever I go from dieting back up to maintenance or in a surplus I gain like 10lbs. It’s glycogen stores in the muscles filling back up, and for every gram of carbs stored the body retains 3-4 grams of water. So that’s most of it. Plus some additional food making It’s way through your intestines and digestive track. I usually stabilize after 1-2 weeks. You should as well. The same thing happens to me when I go from bulk to cut, I very quickly lose 10lbs. Going from 2000-2500 isn’t a huge jump for most people. Maybe you should have went to 2250 first then to 2500 but I think you’ll be fine.
Guess I’ll just play with going up and down with the calories until I find the sweet spot. Honestly just trying not to accumulate fat while continuing recomp. Been at 2500 for better part of 2 weeks and it seems to somewhat have stabilized on dry weights (between 1-2 lbs). Was just concerned with how quickly I put on the weight and it seems to be sticking.
