Red chin ???

ad

myself and two of my buddies are all running a cycle right now. we all have red chins, below lip to where the chin rolls into jaw line, from both edges of the mouth. ive never seen this, never have had this before, and never heard of this. Im assuming its from the cycle, since my buddies are having the same issue and have never had it before also.

does anyone have an idea, seen it before? idea or how to treat it. ive tried hydrocortizone 1%, triamacinalone cream for eczema, A&D ointment, neosporin, and diaper rash ointment, seems the diaper rash ointment is the one thing that helps oddly enough.

A few years ago before i ever began using aas i had a few red blotches that appeared on my back and shoulder.Tried over the counter stuff and it temporarily was not as noticeable. Finally broke down and went to the doc and they found it to be some form of TINEA, which is basically an infection within the surface layers of the skin caused by some type of fungus. They gave me a KETOCONAZOLE wash which was basically shampoo, and a cream.Within two days it cleared up and hasnt been back since. The only thing is with your situation is i believe that it doesnt usually begin on the face.Since you and your boys have the same condition and you arent using the same gear, i was wondering if you guys use the same gym?Possibly could of picked something up there since it might be the common denominator.Just throwing this out there based on my experience, Best bet is to go and get it checked bro.

definitely sounds like something viral from the gym. Get some hand sanitizer and use it before sharing that iron.

i got eucerin cream and its all cleared up

It can be many things. Maybe just one of your friends caught it, and by just shaking hands it spreads quickly. I was thinking about a Herpes Simplex, just because it itches alot. You can google it to see how the blisters look like. Also if it is similar you can try some ABREVA to get some relief.

itches??? i never said anything about iching. mine doesnt itch and as far as i know neither does theres. at the most it will burn a little when cold air or sweat hit it. mine is almost gone.

I know you never mention anything about itches. That is why I asked in 1 of my posts. I just wanted to know all the issues to get an idea. I suffer from Cold sores ( Herpes simplex) which I get once in a while and is activated by Stress or excess sun exposure. No offense, I just wanted to get all the info to help.

oh lol okay, i know some mentioned it may be contagious, but the one buddy, we dont work out together or go to the same gym, and i didnt know he had it till i ran into him at the store. it became a topic of our conversation.
the other guy, we do go to the same gym, different times of the day. my work out buddy doesnt have it, so im assuming its very unlikely its a contagion

Could be the salt in your sweat, it tends to puddle to that area when I sweat alot and when your on gear you sweat alot more than normal.

How are the chins...Are they just red and Dry or Red and wet (liquid expelling out of the affected area). Is the red area expanding? Does it itch like hell?

mwagner630's picture

the only place on my chin thats effected is where i dont grow facial hair, and its just red and when its bad its bumpy to

sounds like something contagious or allergic reaction. I would go to doctor and tell him about your friends.

When I did my cycles my skin turned a little bit dark, people kept asking me if I was at the beach, skin gets easily burned. And had a little bit of rash on my chest. I heard some people complaining about sweating to much, and starting to have problems with the skin because of excess of sweat (always humid). Have you been under the sun lately?? This is just my personal side effect.

is it the gear or peptides?
I have a friend that ran gear once and got a red rash all over his face. He went to the doctor and ir tuned out to be exreamly high blood presure. Doc told him if he would have waited to see doc he could have had a stroke or
heart attac . He doest run gear anymore only protein

It's sounds like something called called rosacea. Try googling it, see if you can relate to the pics etc??

mwagner630's picture

sounds dead on after looking it up. although can this be a result of the cycle?

Catalyst's picture

Considering three of you running the same gear have reacted the same there's obviously something your all reacting to. I believe, ironically, that its usually treated with steroid creams! Might be a visit to the doc?

From what I remember it happens sometimes to women when they first take the contraceptive pill, huge change in hormone levels etc being the cause. I've not read about or heard about it happening with steroid use, but logically it would appear quite possible.

What are you running? Have you got elevated estro (ie AI all spot on etc). Anything else involved, 19nor prolactin issues etc?

mwagner630's picture

were all on gear but not the same source gear.

im taking aromsin 9.5 mg EOD and anymore than that im so dried out its painfull, im taking prami .50mg ED also. i am having no estrogen and prolactin issues, yes im on a 19nor, nandrolone deconate. out of the 3 of us im the only one on a 19nor also.

i am in central PA and all 3 of us do spend a good time outside. after doing a bit of reading i see that on cycle can change vascular dialation which is the main cause of rosacea especially in a cold dry windy climate

Kronos's picture

I was reading on the Aromasin leaflet and reads...."Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders such as Rash/Alopecia". Are your buddies taking the same products? Maybe loweringor eliminating 1 product at a time to see which is the possible cause.

mwagner630's picture

mine is clearing up, ive gotten in the habit of washing my face as soon as im done working out and not waiting till i get home, seems to be making a difference. next thing is to do a process of elimination on peptides cause im 100% it isnt the gear.

i do have sensitve skin in the first place, and everything im putting in my body could very well be the culprit, it really isnt that bad, ive just let my facial hair grow in vice style to make it less noticeable no ones said anything to me about it

mwagner630's picture

ya know the one common thing between us is aromasin. im on liquid their on pills though, so maybe not

Catalyst's picture

Makes sense. You're already doing what I'd suggest is the right thing, just keep an eye on it and go to the docs if it doesn't clear up.
