Precycle bloodwork help
ad
Got my results back from my precycle blood test and would like to discuss with some knowledgeable guys here because there are a few numbers that concern me, particularly: Test was done at 8AM and I had fasted 18 hours prior
Bilirubin @ 2.6 mg/dL (I’m not jaundice and my alt, ast, alk were all very good)
Free Test @ 1.05% (658tot 6.91free)
I can send screenshots of the full panel to a ProtonMail if anyone wants to dive in deep on this with me. I’m definitely planning on seeing my doctor first thing Monday I just want to be prepared with knowledge and questions. I’m also naturally freaking out a little bit anxiety wise.
About me:

RustyhookerNope. Relax...
Really, not so sure your stats are honest
Yeah unfortunately they are what they are. I wish I could say I was 230-240 like I used to be when I was playing but a food problem resurfaced on me and I was throwing up after almost every meal I ate and my doctors attributed it to my anxiety when in fact that wasn’t the main cause, it probably contributed but I had to find out myself what was causing it because they weren’t helping me find the actual answer. So after I pinpointed the problem through trial and error (and it made sense with my history when I was a baby) I cut out that food group and the symptoms went away.
Who knows how much damage was done in that time but I’m fighting to get back. My diet and macros are back on point, my training and dedication has never been a problem, and now I feel ready to take back my place. I’m tired of looking in the mirror and feeling less than what I was so I’m gunna work my ass off. I bottomed out around 170lbs so I’ve put on 35lbs all natural within a year and a half time frame.
The point is I’ve been lied to a lot and it’s caused nothing but problems and there is no reason for me to lie to you guys when I want proper advice about my health and safety when using AAS supplementation (not abusing).
RustyhookerAppreciate your reply. I know its gotta be frustrating but hopefully you eat on some rocked pounds then a simple run. Id hate to see ya stumble and roller coaster. Its the same advice id give my kids. Good luck to you!

Imo you shouldnt even be trying gear. Youre nowhere near the possibility.
Update: My blood work part 2 came back today and everything was fine with my liver and kidney function tests so I’m relieved in that sense. I will continue on my current cycle and post a review with a log that I am keeping. I did want to bring another metric to the community’s attention to see if someone can chime in as to why this happened. My HDL cholesterol tanked from 59-25 and LDL went up from 61-91 and as I’ve said before I’ve only been on cycle a week? I’m not taking a DHT which are known for that and am wondering if this is normal to happen this early (I was expecting a drop but didn’t think it would be a week in)
Totally normal for that to happen. Several factors.
Primarily tends to be from an overload of glycogen in the liver which at upper end and excess wil end up being converted to chol's
Did you post a pic yet?
Nah not yet bro and I’m stupid I completely overlooked the fact that proviron is a DHT and I’m taking that as well so that’s what’s to blame for such a drastic drop I would imagine. That just shows I need to be more thourough even more so than I usually am when researching for future cycles. Did you get my PM? I can try to upload again now but I feel like it’ll only let me do one at a time and now I have 5 pages of blood results lol
Yeah man its like 11 pages when done here in Éire.
Sorry missed the PM, let me check now. Ive been slow on msgs in general sorry
ping you now
Awesome bro just posted the pics of the bloodwork from my cpu head over there and take a look and let me know if you see anything else that I missed or if I am good to go! Thanks again my man
I put a few thoughts on the pics bro
Yes pretty strange indeed. Get some some cycle support. AI Nutrition Life Support is pretty decent. Take a high dose of plant sterols, 6g of high quality omega 3 and you can look into taking Niacin Flush at a pretty high dose to bring HDL up - terrible stuff to take though I hate how the flush hits and it needs to be taken 3 times per day. Lastly HCG at a low dose 250iu twice per week has been shown to help lipid issues on cycle as it keeps intratesticular testosterone production going. Are you taking an AI by any chance?
Any history in your family of lipid issues? Perhaps you need to be genetically tested here!
Yeah I am taking an omega 3 supp and was thinking about adding a niacin supp now that I see how fast it tanked. I wanted to do HCG as part of my PCT so if I use it intra-cycle do I just up the dose when it comes time for PCT or just cut it off and hit my clomid/nolva? I’m not taking an Ai but I have one on hand, I’m naturally not predisposed to estrogen related sides, never had gyno as a kid nor do I retain a lot of water. Btw I don’t think I answered you before but my E2 Sensitive last test was 14.7 pg/ml. Range is 8-35.
Lastly I do have a family history of heart problems on one side of my family so they could possibly have lipid issues.
Get that AI Life support and a high quality plant sterols. Niacin Flush is you can handle it. HCG 250IU twice a week right up until the end of cycle as you’re on prop wait 3 days post your last shot and hit your Nolva/Clomid PCT no more HCG at that point.
Once you’re done with this cycle you want to go and get tested for familial lipid issues.
Okay so to update I’m going to be retesting the liver enzymes on Monday with a normal 8 hour fast to see if that fixes the issue. I am a week in on a test prop cycle so I won’t be testing testosterone levels until mid cycle as planned as long as my bilirubin comes back good on this next test I’m gunna stick with my planned cycle and run a fairly aggressive PCT then test 4-6 weeks after pct to see if I recover properly.
Makes sure you get SHBG tested as well as allbumin and estrodial when you do your mid cycle tests.
Will do man thank you! FR sent
You e been off for four and half years and your 25?
Yeah man when I played ball my play weight was around 240lbs, in that world and at that level the reality is 90% of people are using and if you decide to stay natty you are already at a major disadvantage. It was irresponsible I know that but it did pay for my schooling, however everything has a trade off and I guess in this case my natty test levels are suffering and possibly my liver because I never ran a PCT, used orals only, etc, etc. I’m just hoping it was either an anomaly or reversible because after 4 years it would be ignorant for me to believe AAS is the only possible cause at this point. Could be just my genetics, idk but I’m hoping to come to some conclusions with you guys then correspond with my PCP or Endo. Speaking of which, what doctor would you recommend? Should I go straight to an endo or a pcp?
Just post the results in the pic section and we can chime in there.

Would need to see the full panel and you 100% need his confirmed by a doctor but I believe you probably have nothing to worry about in terms of your liver.
As to your free testosterone number we really need to see SHBG and Albumin to see what could be driving this so low and estrodial is an important piece of the puzzle. And lastly what is your BF?
Edit: what possessed you to fast for 18 hours before your test? Seems this caused your weird bilirubin result and probably affected (negatively) your testosterone numbers too - https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/3106181/
Suggest you eat normally have a normal overnight fast of 8h and get your bloods done again!
X2
I was going to post them there but ended up having problems because I have 2 pages of data (on mobile haven’t tried desktop). Then it was asking me to pick a website I’m posting for as a required field and giving me that problem as well.
I didn’t have SHBG but Albumin was 4.8 range is 3.5-5.5 g/dL. In terms of body fat I’m very lean and muscular when i was playing ball my bf was between 8-9% now that I stopped I’m probably around 12-13% my friends think I’m around 10 but if I’m not standing straight or sitting I can see what I believe is some midsection fat but I can still see all 6 of my abs well..
So the test said to fast between 12-14 hours the problem was I had eaten lunch around 2pm and it wasn’t a very big lunch, I had got busy prepping and getting on top of some work for the next day, then next thing I know I look at the clock and it’s 10PM smh so now I know if I eat I’ll be out of the fasting range the test called for so I just said fuck it and went to sleep. Woke up first thing got drawn around 930 then ate a massive breakfast lol
What was your estrodial number?
Just do the blood test again properly and add SHBG. When posting bloods just eroids as the source of heya not related to a specific source or lab.
Edit: what’s strange is, in reference to the study you posted, my LH came back as exactly 5.0 just like the study... strange my FSH was on the lower end of normal at 2.9
What are the reference ranges on the info you posted?
Bilirubin: 0.0-1.2 mg/dL
Free T: 1.50-4.20% (At my age I felt that my metric should be much higher than it is)
