Pinched sciatic nerve, prednisone, robaxin and maintenace test. I need advice!!!
ad
Alright so I tried to shrug 360 on suspended weights and crunched my sciatic nerve. I'm on prednisone and robaxin. A synthetic corticosteroid and a muscle relaxer. I have questions for you guys. What should I do? Should I stay off for a week and do maintenance shots of Test P and regular dose of test E? Should I work out at home? I want to add NPP or Tren A for joint lubrication, which do you suggest with a cycle of Test P 75mg/ED and Test E 500/week and what dose? The prednisone breaks down muscle like most corticosteroids so I am worried. I feel if I just keep up my diet and maybe do some push ups here and there for a week I'll be fine. Please help.

If on cycle, ice, NSAIDs, TENS unit, monitor pain. In theory, I like your NPP idea, though.
Start rubbing some NSAID cream on your nerve. You can make it. Google.
It's not a good idea to keep running the other gear while your on prednisone. Definitely stay away from them alcohol. I had a terrible reaction while I was on prednisone and test. I back broke out all over the place my shoulders, middle back, lower back, and upper butt. It didn't clear for a year or so. I was prescribed a two week supply of prednisone just to give you a idea that it didn't take long before it happened.
I actually am going to stop the prednisone and start up Naproxen. Thanks for advice man.
Well if it is coming from your back the only way I can ever get rid of it is with a traction machine (spinal decompression. Some chiropractors have them and very few doctors. Only do it if it is electronically controlled. You lay on a table that separates in the middle, strap you to it at your chest than another one goes a round your waist. A cable hooks to your waste and pulls you apart with a computer program like on a olliptical machine. I think it feels good, sometimes it takes a couple times I was told it has a 70 percent effectiveness.
Traction is a great way to get relief and help properly align the lumbar spine. Now if there is a rotational element to the lower back vertebrae that needs to be fixed, then that is best accomplished with adjustments. If you do go for traction, expect to go for at least 7 times. Between then keep icing the lower back and stretching those hamstrings.
that isn't a bad idea, there is a chiropractor that takes a $25 dollar copay not far from me. Might have to get on that.
What probably happened is you increased the intrathecal pressure in your spinal canal straining so hard on your shrug. This is a typical cause of disc bulges, herniated discs, and what many people consider a pinched nerve. Although you are experiencing sciatica symptoms, the real problem is most likely a lumbar nerve root being irritated. Whether that be from simple inflammation around the nerve, a bulging disc, etc I cannot say for certain. Following the pathway of the pain helps pinpoint where exactly in the lumbar spine the problem is. I suggest getting to a chiropractor and have him work you over for a few weeks. Any questions about all this? I'm here to help.
You are correct man, that is exactly it.
The sciatic nerve is in your ass and leg. How do you injure that shrugging? What are your symptoms?
And you guys are crazy who think when you injure yourself that some added cocktail mixture of steroid drugs is some kind of treatment for an injury.
Is it that hard to understand? The sciatic nerve reaches up through your lower spine. Trust me, I've been offered a spinal injection into the sciatic nerve.
WithdrawlLOL, I don't think he was suggesting steroids would heal him. I think he was just asking a separate question about joint lubrication in general, not related to this injury. I could be wrong but that's how I took it.
In theory Nandrolone promotes collagen synthesis which is present in spinal disk. This is what attributes is lubricating properties. As you may have notice, Joint relief supplements incorporate collagen to aid in the healing of connective tissues including spinal disk. Adding NPP isn't that risky seeing as it is less potent than test and I will be reducing my TP intake. So my logic is, That I might as well.
RustyhookerCorticostetoids get negated by deca/npp. Nor's lower Cortisol and wil combat the cortico thats trying to reduce swelling.
Not good.
I'm going to stop them before I start Nannies.
WithdrawlWhenever I've tweaked something on cycle in the past, I've just kept going with my normal cycle and took a week off from the gym, then resumed training as normal, provided that was enough time to heal. Also, I think NPP would be a MUCH better choice for joint lubrication than tren. I've never used NPP so I can't comment on what dose would be beneficial for lubrication. I'd imagine 100mg EOD would be enough, but hopefully someone else can help you out with that.
I was thinking the same. Thanks a lot for your help. I'll probably do 75 ED. Hey I would +1 you but for saome reason Firefox won't allow me too. I have a virus.
