Fella's the time has come that we stop openly discussing Bitcoin and the techniques for acquiring/transferring them in relation to what we do. They have been around long enough that most should be aware of the basics by now. This is not going to be a hard rule yet and I do plan on leaving up a couple of the more beneficial threads on it. But in all seriousness you guys need to start being careful how much info we give to those who wish to destroy what we have.
If someone has a question link them to the info they need. But lets try and keep it off the boards and the SI's as much as possible.

I don't see why people would discuss payment in the open forum. It's like hey Feds I pay for roids via so and so hahaha! You can probably just messages the source and they usually can walk you through it.

People think they are safe behind a screen, when they fail to realize IP addresses can be traced, ISP's have a deal with feds to share all browser info, its the patriot act so they do not need a warrant. What you dont know will harm you.

In fairness we have allowed BC talk because it was new and we were encouraging people to use them. But that time has passed and it is now time to tighten up.
This is a well thought out idea, Sauron. There are people out there who certainly want to control what we do with our money, and by discussing it openly in our forums and source discussion pages, we're simply giving those forces who wish to control our money the ammunition to shoot us down.
I think any and all payment and shipping info should be left off the open forums. Take it to pm if you must but be careful who you are talking to.

Exactly! All should be confidential. There shouldn't be anything in regards to anything. I can understand having up the topic of "what is bitcoins" but other than that, everything should be kept in a pm. There are many sites online that give info on how to aquire and set up an account. It should be kept off here and left on google.
