Whats up everyone? I had a question for you guys. So i am 3 weeks into my first cycle and ive been pinning in my quads. Originally i wanted to rotate legs in order to give the site a break. My routine is 1ml twice a week of test E. Currently my right legs is taking this stuff like a champ, no pain on problems what so ever. The first time i pinned my left leg i couldnt walk for four days. Well, i could walk but it was far from comfortable and my knee became swollen. It screwed up my workouts and everything. So i waited a week ad a half before i tried it again. So wednesday i decided to give it another go and the same discomfort is setting in. It is terribly annoying and im wondering if my left leg just shouldnt be injected. Has anyone gone through this? How did you work through it. I want to be able to cycle inj sites. Thanks!

Knee swollen? Your angle was off and you didn't make it into the muscle.. Do not focus on mirroring your other legs injection.. Just focus on a straight pin right into the muscle.. and yeah I have issues with needing to inject both quads differently

This may sound stupid but I've always had better luck and less PIP when using a large gauge pin. I use 20 gauge 1.5". Smaller gauge needles require more force to push the oils through which may (or may not) cause trauma to the muscle and surrounding tissue. The stick itself sucks a little more but I'm not hobbling for days after.

I've had the same problem with my first cycle and pinning my quads for the first time. I pinned a little lower than the middle of my quad and it felt like my knee was gonna explode a day or 2 later. somebody told me to pin higher on my quad and it helped. What I do is stand relaxed with my arms by my side, put my hands on my quad where they fall then spread my fingers and pin between my index and middle finger, it works for me.

Thanks for the advice man.

I have the same issue with my legs only in reverse. At first I tried to pin in the exact "mirrored" spot. but found that I had a better experience pinning slightly lower and further outside on my right leg than my left.

Plus, if you are only pinning 1 mil you might want to add your delts into the rotation. And the gluteus medius is easy to reach and a good spot as well.

I put my hand on my leg, thumb on hip. Other side of the side, straight down on the top side, is where I get the least problem quad wise. Hardly ever do quads anymore though, since starting glutes, ventroglutes, delts, and next cycle I think Imma try lats. I've had too many issues with the quads.

this is a sound routine. I will certainly try this. solid advice bro, thank you.

I would give it a third try. You should pay close attention to the angle you are going in at. Try to keep it at a 90. Maybe move up toward your hip a few inches next time as well.

90 deg in reference to what. that is vague i have an idea of what you mean but i usually stick my leg straight out so it relaxes. then pin the middle of the outside quad muscle. just about dead center. Now i understand you can enter at dif angles and still tchnically hit that spot. you can hold the syringe completely horizontally Or vertically and technically pin the same spot but the final destination of the tip of the needle will be very different. i usually go 45 deg between 100% vertical or horizontal... I really hope this makes sense, lol. PM me i appreciate the advice. maybe you have a video i can look up or something.

Greg's picture

You want to have a right angle (90 degrees) between the shaft of the needle to the surface you are pinning. (in this case your leg).

If, for example, you were using a 1" pin and pinning your glute at 45 deg, you would never hit your muscle.

Is it your dominant leg by chance? Just curious.

adg322's picture

my right leg is indeed dominant.

Darktide's picture

Actually J might be on to something. When you pin the leg that hurts more is it with your weak or dominate hand. I ask because like in shooting there is an effect that one has to overcome with their weak side. It is the hand tremor from the lack of development as opposed to the favored side. I am just spit balling here, but if it is your weak hand you could be shaking the needle more once inside the muscle and causing extra trauma.

J.Mc.'s picture

Well of course the dominant leg likes the Juice better!! Duh...

Lol, I kid. That has nothing to do with it

lol

lol, what?

Middle of outside quad muscle. Its like the muscle gets so tight and inflammed or whatever that it makes my knee feel weird because i cant bend my leg well. Oh 23g 1.5" but only go in about an inch. Doin it pretty much txt book. Im ambidextrous. Or however you spell it. Yeah its weird.
