Here is the off-season cycle under Farah’s camp (one of IFBB Pro’s) from 10+ years ago.

1 sust eod
1 Deca eod
5iu gh ed
After 4 weeks of these drugs kicking in, 50mg dbol Ed.

High high volume bro split with mostly compound movements.

George Farah’s guy’s program worked better for me than Hany Rambod’s guy’s program which was roughly double this, which I am also glad to share.

Do you know what the bro split entailed? I am intrigued, to say the least. Also, can you share if Farah's guy ranked top 10 at Mr. Olympia?

I love that you’re asking about the training.

Monday-Back 24-28 sets, mostly compound movements, abs

Tuesday-Chest 16-20 sets, calves

Wednesday-Arms 16 sets biceps, 16 sets triceps

Thursday-Delts 16-20 sets, traps 8-12 sets

Friday-Legs 16-20 sets quads, 12-16 sets hamstrings

Saturday/Sunday rest
NO Cardio

Farah’s guy did not qualify for the Olympia, however, he turned pro over 15 years ago when only 2 pro cards were given per National Show (USA, North Americans, and Nationals they only handed out 2 pro cards per show). He was a SHW BB. In those days there weren’t these other categories they have now (board shorts, physique, classic etc., I’m not sure what they all entail these days)

That is an insane amount of volume, especially for back and legs! I don't doubt a lot of the pros employ a high volume approach to training. I'd personally die of exhaustion if I trained like this (LOL)! Maybe that is the difference between the genetically elite athletes and people who, like myself, have only average genetics. They seem to be able to perform impressive athletic feats - with wonderful results to show for it - that would be counterproductive for the average person's goals. At least I can experience it vicariously by hearing about others' success with these types of training methodologies. Lucky bastards!

What shocked me is that under Hany Rambod’s camp there was 0 Gh used (I repeat, no Gh).

Personally, I have never seen a big difference in muscle mass from growth hormone, and I took more than 10IU of the pharma one. The only place I've seen a big difference is when I'm working on the cut.
