Ok so I have been here for a while and love this site, but recently it seems that the only things that I can read on a lot of these pages is members bashing other members about jumping in on every promo on every page.
That’s all I see on discussion pages and especially promo pages. The mods here do there work and they do it well, they catch the people and get rid of them. But everybody is not a mod and I get that some people will catch others that the mods do not, but honestly can we get these pages back to what they used to be. It’s just aggravating reading that crap, maybe bring it up to a mod and let them handle it instead of clogging up these pages with it. Thanks

So what do you think a mod should do about a member who writes a fake review to get in on a promo and when the source gets busted soliciting reviews, that member goes back and edits his review to read
And then he follows it up with a post in the forums titled, "Obviously Promo Whoring is a Big NoNo..!!"
That guy is a new member barely 6 weeks old, we should be lenient right?
But then after further investigation the mods discover a previous accounts rosser01 and DecaDream who was banned for... you guessed it, promo whoring

And then the mods track his movements on the site and get BFG involved, and guess what again? yup, that same guy has hit up about a dozen other sources to join their promo's.
Just what should a mod do about such a guy?

I did what you suggested regarding informing a Mod. A member here was calling out a promo whore and in my naivety I suggested that he let the source decide if the guy should qualify for the promo (I didn't know the guy was a PW). The PW sent me a FR and, thinking that I was on his side, then proceeded to offer me gear from sources not on Eroids. I thought about letting it slide - but couldn't - so passed it all to a Mod who eventually, after giving the guy some slack, decided to ban him because he didn't learn. If you think it's a game - that's ok - just keep in mind that everything in life and all games have rules, and seems like you have broken a few.

To be literal, fully expose them as you just did. The motive behind deceit and dishonesty is always to cover a wrong or mask ones true intention. Integrity is a most honorable characteristic that is becoming rare it seems.

Its the reviews though... we need honest fact/experienced-based reviews... and we all have the power to give them and to neg the BS ones...

RustyhookerThis website is member run bro. It was created so members can safeguard members from dirty sources. Age dependant, you might or might not know what it was like prior to eroids.
So if members jam up a dirty wankstick, that person should take it as a warning. And yes, if it turns into a blowed up crap fest....definitly let the mods know.
The hard part of anything here is the grey areas. If a member is acting filthy, post link for mods.
