No doctors..doing it myself..what do you think?
ad
Hi everyone I am new here. I am 37 years old and the last 4 years going downhill in terms of motivation and energy. Bad sleep and low libido. All the usual symptoms
I’ve decided to try trt doses all by myself without asking a doctor. Read the book trt manual by jay campbell and then found this site.
Planning to buy stuff here and syringes and other materials from other websites. Will do blood work every 3 months or earlier if not feeling good..with those homekits
Will study the markers and follow a light protocol and gradually go up until I feel good enough.
Is this a good strategy
Will also implement contingency measures like ai, hcg, blood donation etc when required
Please let me know thanks

I just realised I accumulated -4 karmas..will this wipe out in time or do I have to do something about it..this is my first time in a forum and I got a bad start...can I get another chance
We call it karma; the choice is yours.
That’s a good start..I love you man
RustyhookerDont ask if theres a replacement for water on 8yr old forum
Fuck you
I am reading old posts so I reply
RustyhookerYoure power trolling.
My apologies to everyone..I just don’t like hospitals and doctors and when I enter a hospital I start shaking and become sick even if I am not sick..
.so when everyone is advising to go to a doctor..automatically they become an enemy..I can’t help it..so keep up the good work and keep winning
RustyhookerDr involves insurance, legal means, full blood work, and fixing the REAL problems first. Sedentary lifestyle and vad diet leads to how uou feel. Thats the first fixes. Get yo ass to gym!!
Why the fuck are you guys here hovering around black market product sites and discussing your shit and giving advice when you want to do it with a doctor..fuck you all..if I wanted to go to a doctor I don’t need you and this site then..what a waste of time
Tutti fruitieWow that escalated quickly. Do you have blood tests to prove you are indeed low on test or are you just guessing because of the symptoms. Been here a long time and that attitude will get you no where. See the guy below named makwa. He's one of the smartest individuals on this sits and if he says get out the consensus will be you can go the fuck away. Good luck and back off the temper a bit. Good luck
Tutti fruitieEdit. Read some more of the thread I concure with mak get the fuck out of here kiddo
Yeah I just checked his profile..and he is been here long time and his work is impressive..I apologised already..I will shut my mouth and put in the work the right way..respect to you all
Don't let the door hit you in your ass on the way out.
I ain’t leaving..if I do I will blast the doors open son..and don’t tell me a dose of truth doesn’t hurt..it does doesn’t it baby boy
That’s exactly what happens when I have Taco Bell.
RustyhookerQuit the meth junior
What truth are you talking about?
AnonI see all the comments about blood work and none mention a comprehensive vitamin panel.
Vitamin D defincy is incredibly common. And with symptoms such as depression people often end up on anti-depressant for it without ever getting bloodwork to check their vitamins or hormones.
Vitamins are a game changer. Get blood work to check your vitamins. You could just need 5000iu's of D3 and some Zinc.
After reading all your kind comments I’ve decided to clean up my basic life first..while at the same time get blood work done from a doctor..
Clean up diet (no inflammatory food and no junk food)
Start building cardio and step up to strength training gradually
Better sleep hygiene
De-stress
Take necessary supplements
And see what happens
I appreciate you all
But you can only go so far natural..the world is a different place now..If you don’t work hard you will go down..the old has to compete with the young
I merely want to take testosterone for the mental well being and extra energy rather than the physical aesthetics (that’s a bonus for me)
People who don’t take testosterone does not have a high level energy..some days are good and most days they have low energy and that can be seen from their posture, speech and general behaviour..
People who take testosterone operate on a high energy day in day out..their energy level is stable almost everyday..they can get lots of work done
No wonder high level CEO’s, Silicon Valley employees and athletes and actors take this stuff..they work in a fast paced environment and they need the extra energy..that’s what I want basically
So let’s see after I clean up my lifestyle
Go to the doctor right away and get a blood test. Treat yourself according to the test results. Most importantly, get yourself out of depression. Motivation is the most important source of this work. I hope you are well take care of yourself
TricepatopsBad idea. Go get full blood panel. I mean get everything tested thyroid get it broken down into t3 t4 not just TSH. Might not even be your test that is low. But could be since you been messing with it now. Or it could be a multitude of things. Better to be safe then sorry. Also everyone should get full blood panels at least once a year no matter what. Only way to stay on top of being healthy is knowing what is going on with your body.
Lol..you lot made it difficult for me..I thought everyone would say good job let’s go do it..but it seems everyone is cautious here...ok I appreciate your kind replies and I think I will do it the proper way then..before trt I will check my other stats and blood work and go from there
I once assumed this and deflected it to being low testosterone levels and age. Low and behold after blood work and a few visitations, my test levels were in the 700 range along with excellent free test. I’m going to also suggest I’m addition to seeing a doctor, check out a holistic doctor in regards to what you perhaps might be allergic to. Nutrition is key. I’m at a point of inconsistency right now due to the many of aspects this era has bestowed so I’m not even thinking about running a cycle until my diet, gym routines and overall status of well being has improved. Good luck.
I think your odds of success are same as hitting a bullseye in darts while wearing a blindfold. Randomly picking meds to treat an undiagnosed problem is not the answer. May as well through some antidepressants, blood pressure meds, iron suppliments, etc into the mix. You get the point.
I will start only after blood test and will do regular blood test at 3 month intervals..only if it shows low testosterone I will start administering it and I will only do low amounts because I don’t want the side effects..
TricepatopsIf you do have low test then have doctor prescribe it. If you have insurance then you get free pharma test. The best you can get and then you get regular blood tests if they are a good doctor. In the long run going this route is much cheaper as well as safer.
No, not really, because you alway say "I could take a little more and feel better". Use your blood test results as your guide.
Besides, it may not be low testosterone, it could be low thyroid, high estrogen, cancer, a suckie life...... or wife, or handful of other things
Ok will do other check ups before anything else. If everything is clean and blood work shows low testosterone then I will start with testosterone..and I will not go above 100 mg a week..will keep it low to prevent side effects
TricepatopsIf it is low then have Dr. Prescribe it or have them refer you to Endo doc. TRT is so much better and easier by a doctor also if you ever by chance get caught with test you do have a script.
NOT EVEN CLOSE
RustyhookerCouch potato? That alone can cause depression and lower energy levels. No...i think full dr bloodwork and get off the couch. Natural endorphines can raise values
Appreciate your reply..I used the term couch potato just because I don’t know how to describe myself at this stage..basically I work in a store for 10 hours a day and I guess that makes me a couch potato because I am sitting most of the time..
Been working out all my life on and off basically strength training..but the past 5-6 years have slowed a lot..had personal and legal problems and yes depression for two years after a run with the government and probation..
Self medicating with alcohol but quit after came out of depression
Two weeks earlier I had COVID with all the severe symptoms of high fever, bad headache and body aches..got better after a week
And getting out alive out of COVID changed my perception about life..am humbled and grateful now..feel much better mentally but not where I want to be..now I want to look after myself and get physically and mentally better and then do something to better the world a bit
I have abused my health a lot and never in my life visited doctors unless some emergency or injury
I want to do it myself..just read a 500 page book earlier today about testosterone optimisation manual by jay Campbell and that has given me some hope..there must be someone in these forums who is doing it all by himself
And by the way the strange thing is most of the customers I deal with are also mentally run down..like after studying the book I can see that most men are struggling in the testosterone department and nobody seems to know the answer..everyone seems to accept it as an aging process but I am kind of feeling overwhelmed by this weakness all around me..all I wanted to do was to slap them for dragging like weaklings but after COVID my mind has changed and I see the struggle everyone is going through..so fuck the doctors for not doing their job right in the first place..
TricepatopsOne Covid does have long term sides such as no energy or brain fog or worse. But also don't understand fuck the doctors comment from someone who never went. Yea some are bad some are good just like any other profession. I have a great relationship with my doctor's. I had a doctor before who didn't know how to write a testosterone prescription for the gel. Which by the way gel sucks. My other doctor wrote me for injection and said he doesn't waste his time for gel or cream so you sometimes have to shop around for a good doctor. Anyways if you do like the others are saying and get bloods and everything else you will probably find your problem.
Couch potato Covid alcohol depression….maybe working on these issues , incorporating a healthy diet and exercise may change your outlook on things….no offense here but working on one’s mental health is just as important as physical well being if you’re going to go self administrating hormones…..I would advise to work with qualified professionals wether it’s dietitian, endocrinologist, or whomever before you go self administering
Mentally I am good now..will start pushing myself starting workouts and see how I feel
Rustyhooker^^^^^^to do it for life. Or err and lead into bypasses, strokes etc...
