+ 4 Masculinization for hypogonadism?

ad

Growing up I always appeared a rather feminine boy due to my low testosterone and lots of that still persists even though I am now on TRT (lack of body hair, poor facial hair, etc). One thing I haven’t been able to find much information on is the use of AAS compounds for the purpose of enhancing masculine features. What little I have been able to find is aimed at FTM transgendered people.

While I have made a great deal of progress in becoming more “manly” with TRT (chest hair for the first time at age 29), I’m interested to see if anyone has insight on this topic of AAS for masculinization.

Pros and cons to everything. Hair is overrated. +1 for making the post

Every month or so, I have to stand in the backyard butt naked while my girl sheers me head to toe like a sheep. You will never feel confident when your bent over getting your b-hole shaved when your buddies pull up.

Not a recommendation whatsoever, but I'd be more inclined to research dht.

Props for putting yourself out there on this post. I can relate somewhat because I had low test growing up and ended up on TRT around age 30. Over time I've noticed compounding impacts on body hair and physique. In terms of confidence, test can play a role but if you're looking for changes in that, it comes from within and working on yourself. Getting bigger may change the way you look but it's not going to magically make you feel better about yourself, at least long term in a genuine way. I've see dude go from small to huge and it changed their attitude and may fool some that they are super confident, but i don't feel thats authentic or sustained.

good advice ... and as my grandmother used to say (god rest her soul) you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear.

Thanks for your input everyone. You’ve all given great advice. Time to just own the cards the genetic lottery dealt me, but hey even a losing hand can win if you bluff well, right? Like you guys mentioned, it’s about more than just having a hairy chest or big beard, and more about being confident in who you are.

I’ll just keep focusing on staying healthy and getting stronger!

A lot of good info below. It’s all based on genetics. With that being said we are all different and the effects of AAS use will vary from one person to the next. AAS will only amplify your pre existing traits. If your prone to acne, acne will most likely be worse on ass. Same goes for male pattern baldness. I had very little body hair until my mid 30’s. Now I’m a damn gorilla, however my brother has very little body hair. We are both trt and he’s older then me. Go figure. I wouldn’t stress it. Just enjoy the ride.

Honestly bro it’s really no help to your question but embrace what you have, eat well, train hard, rest good and make gains in life. Trt may or may not help in your quest, so if it does take it as a bonus if it doesn’t no loss and you’re still feeling and looking better than most who walk the planet giving you confidence and attracting people to you which is the reason I gather you want to look more masculine

This is a slippery slope because the features you’re looking for are a little unpredictable in terms of how they come about.

You might get a firmer jaw but you also might go bald before it happens.

I think tren permanently deepened my voice. Not a ton but to me it’s noticeable. But the two biggest effects I’ve noticed are acne and hair loss. Not all sunshine and roses.

These effects are cumulative so if you’re running gear they will show, slowly at first then more and more. Don’t try blasting crazy doses to speed it up. You’ll only run into more problems.

You’re absolutely right. I’ve been researching the Androgenic vs anabolic nature’s of different compounds today, and perhaps finding a cycle that while still anabolic would be considerably more Androgenic that normal. However, once that can of worms is opened who knows what the results would be!

At the end of the day, it’s better safe than sorry.

Deciding whether or not to use AAS is strictly up to you. I do believe that over a period of time if you do it right it will increase your masculinity as these are male hormones which do regulate male traits!

Well you basically hit the jackpot of places to research on your own here use the search bar top right blue arrow. Being masculine has nothing to do with being jacked it’s about being yourself and confident but I’ll tell you what I like being the biggest dude in the job site

Thanks for the advice and encouragement . I definitely agree with you on that, nothing boosts confidence like walking through a crowded place and people saying things like “let me get outta your way, Big Guy” and parting like the Red Sea.

I looked at your picture and it doesn’t look like you should have any problem with masculinity if your looking for body hair add me and pm me I can inform you more on what to do

Friended.

I appreciate it, Years of working out, followed by TRT has taken me a long way from when I was a 6’0 160lb 18year old that everyone thought was secretly gay due to my femininity.
