KIND OF SCARY!

ad

I've been using AAS now for about 3 yrs . Never had any problems . Always injected in the same spot or two spots . The butt cheeks . 1,amp of Norma Test -E 250 mg . But today after I injected all of a sudden I started coughing for 3-5 mins and started sweating within a min . Like a rush feeling . Had to sit down . I know Tren makes you do that . But Does Test -E do that too ? Are there blood vessels or vains in your butt cheeks? Lol ! Kind of freeked me out . Is this normal ? What can I do to avoid this next time I inject . Thanks !

my lady, (mwagsgurly) used to do all my pinning for me, she got me once and the same thing happened to me. when she pulled the pin out blood squirted about 3 feet lol. i felt like hell for a few hours after she got the vein.

More than likely you hit a vessel. It happens sometimes. Doesn't matter what you're pinning ,although tren is the biggest culprit. If it happens again just sit down and concentrate on your breathing. It will pass.

Very scary !
Damn had similar happen but not to that degree severity
Just tightness of chest and sweating after I injected in glute on time

it happens to me all the time, not as bad as tren but it happens probably every 25th pin.

This happened to me a few times toward the end of my last cycle with test e, and I was pinning pretty much the same general area in my quads. There are smaller veins all over in your muscle tissue - that's how blood gets to them. I have ALWAYS aspirated also. You may go through a vein, aspirate, and then accidentally pull back a little, or push in further and hit it one. It freaked me the hell out the first time, but honestly, I think you'll cough from just a little drop of oil, which is all think I've ever got. What you don't want to do is get a large portion of your oil intravenously, because it can cause pulmonary embolism as TenaciousD explained below, and fk your life straight up.

TenaciousD's picture

If you inject oil into a vein it will cause you to cough because the oil stays as a globule in the blood (oil and water, remember?) and will travel back to your heart, (that's what veins do; arteries away from the heart) go through your heart and end up wedging in tiny blood vessels in your lungs.

The lungs act as a filter for anything traveling through the veins. You may of heard of pulmonary embolism (PE). That is when a blood clot in a vein (usually after surgery or a long flight where the person didn't flex their leg muscles to keep the circulation going) dislodges and goes to the lungs. It can go unnoticed, cause chest pain, coughing and shortness of breath, or kill you.

One thing people who experience PE often say is that they also feel "a sense of impending doom." I wonder if you had any feelings of panic when you started coughing. I guess so, since you titled this "Kind of Scary." The cold sweat also goes along with this.

If it is a small amount of oil you injected the risk of something serious is very low. It would take a pretty big bolus of oil to cause a significant or fatal episode. But you should definitely aspirate if you're putting in more than a cc or two if you are otherwise unwilling to do so as a matter of routine.

I've seen a large amount of air, probably 5 cc's, accidentally injected directly into a vein and the patient nearly died. Anything other then water-soluble fluid in the veins is a bad idea. BTW, it wasn't my patient but I helped resuscitate her.

Just FYI, I inject people with stuff under xray observation for a living.

Great write up! Also great profession...it's awesome to have more medically inclined individuals to shed light on what really is going on!

Always aspirate...that shit happened to me a few times. The first time I almost went to call 911..lol. Shit sucks.

You hit a vein brother

hey man i had this similar reaction in my thigh, after i jabbed i had a burning pain in my lips and fingertips was fuckin crazy,i got hot lightheaded.they had told me that i most likely got a lil in the bloodstream.i been told its more common in the thigh as well.

HydeMind's picture

Same thing happened to me. Glad I'm not the only one... I always aspirate but during this cycle there were two times I injected and as I was pulling the syringe out I got a burning sensation on my tongue and the roof of my mouth then an onset of anxiety and slightly light headed...

I've been using a lot of new injections spots this cycle due to the amount of oil I am injecting. I also noticed when shooting Hcg into my stomach area IV I tend to hit veins a lot...

Running: Tren-A. Test-P, Masteron

+1 TenaciousD for the great writeup!

Yea! Definitely going aspirate from now on . Never did for like 2 yrs . Doctor Never even mentioned it when He started me on lame ass dose for TRT therapy . Wasn't fun. watching YouTube to do that shit right .

I actually had this happen to me monday night pinning test e and deca in my glute. My chest got a weird feeling and had to cough for sevral minits. I aspirated and got blood for the very first time and moved it and aspirated again and got an air bubble but I guess I diddn't move it far enough away. Ive read it's rare to hit a vein in the glute especialy with deep intramuscular injection since most of the veins are closer to the skin but its still very possible.

ac89's picture

does anyone know what happens to the gear that goes in the vein? is it just filered out and waisted? I would assume not all would make it in the vein i would think some would stay in the muscle

Beachbdygrl's picture

Like others have said, it sounds like you injected into a vien. I've been lucky enough to have never done it, but I've seen my husband do it. His body responded the same way. I'm not sure about what vien you hit, but that's what it sounds like.

renorob's picture

Thanks ! For the help .

Thor's picture

if you was coughing for that long you might be developing a mild for of asthma

renorob's picture

Maybe not that long . But it wasn't a hard cough . Like you have to cough but don't . If that makes sence. Like something being caught in your throat . Like flem when your sick .

Thor's picture

gotcha. then is def a vein you injected in !!

fast48's picture

Butt cheeks? Hope you use 1.5in pin......

renorob's picture

Such a pain . The bigger you get the harder it is to pin yourself . Probably going to start injecting in the leg .

ac89's picture

Injecting into a vein won't kill you it will just make you react that way. I had a talk with a bsn nurse that is a friend of mine about it because he used to pin me and wouldnt aspirate in the glute.

TenaciousD's picture

Check my response. Injecting into a vein is UNLIKELY to kill you. But it could kill you.

boots2asses12's picture

uhm of course theres blood vesels veins and nerves in your ass! Do you aspirate? sounds like you injected into a vein,

renorob's picture

No I Didn't . always thought you had to worry about that when you were injecting in other areas .dets , legs other places.

ac89's picture

you injected into a vein. Did you aspirate?

renorob's picture

Has that ever happened to you before ?

ac89's picture

no it hasnt

renorob's picture

No I didn't . I thought you didn't have to because in your butt checks . How do you aspirate ? Sorry about the dumb question.

ac89's picture

you injected into a vein then. You pull back slightly on the plunger to see if you are in a vein because it will draw blood. There are lots on youtube videos that will show you how

boots2asses12's picture

pull back on the plunger before you inject if you see blood rush into the syringe your in a vein.. dont inject, or yyoul feel like that bro.

renorob's picture

Thanks for the help.

u got it!
