I see at least one source offering a promo to only customers who have made an order with them within the last 6 months. This seems more like a reward system & way to get people to start buying in order to get in on the next one. I completely understand why the source is aggravated. I also believe so many have screwed up a good opportunity to try a certain product or source without investing too much money or having too much risk! I said all that to say this. Too many have created multiple accounts & have done whatever necessary to obtain all the free gear they can & that’s not what we’re supposed to be about here. I have zero pity for these members. It’s my very strong opinion that sources should start keeping a list of promo abusers & instead of changing the promos the way that have they should out them. There should be a forum post where sources can post names of those abusers. I believe this would create some accountability perhaps!! Anyone else have any good ideas???

Sources who operate at a loss will not stay in business. (don't worry about the sources cost of doing business)
Members should not be reviewing "orders", they should be reviewing "cycles". (promo goods included in the cycle)
No promo should have a condition that mandates a future review.
Promos for reviews are allowed as a reward/incentive for reviews already given, (easily verified) a review posted after a promo is announced is not allowed. Someone who gets in on a promo based on a review he "forgot" to write that is newer than the promo WILL have his karma taken and possibly banned.
Those of you who chase after every promo whether you use or need the product or not ought to get their estrogen checked. You're like a bunch of old grandmas clipping coupons out of the newspaper; some for cat food and you don't even own a cat.

Damn straight. Hell one src a few years ago did something similar but it was $300 store cred if u purchased in the last 6 months and it made me intriqued and I bought there for a long time because of it. And I don't think I ever got that much cred pretty sure the next time he ran the promo I got $200 or something. But the amount of business he got from me soley because of hopes to get in his next promo far exceed the amount he ended up giving me.

I was at a talk once by a top fmcg business man here in Ireland. He was talking about loyalty programs for retail and how to target/gen new customers. He had said if there was a house on road X that never bought in, he consistently targeted the neighbours on either side..... who saw what they were getting snd eventually succumbed and bought his wares.

Brought this up a little while ago as it is frustrating to see "giveaways" instead of %OFF or something of that nature.
A promo giving away free gear to anyone is NOT rewarding loyal customers who buy regardless of promo opportunity.
The whole point of having a "minimum" payment is to keep it safer for all but if you give away just a small sample size (to most of us on here) then you just defeated the purpose of having a minimum.
I always appreciate a % OFF promo or one that gives you x-amount of $ back to use as store credit of your choice. It rewards me with either a discount and thus buy more or the credit that allows me to decide on what I want extra without getting something that I'll never use.
You cannot have "promo whoring" if the only way to take advantage of the promo is to actually BUY something to get the reward of the promo! This is win for all parties involved.

I honestly would rather the %off cause have the time the freebies don't even help me and usually a bottle or two and I don't wanna switch labs mid cycle. and then if I get freebie I usually want to grab a bunch of other shit.

I see one guy who not too long ago wanted his account deleted because he was caught promo whoring , a few months later he's back and applying for multiple promos again . I guess it might be an addiction , if a source offered 5 x dianabol tablets some of these guys will apply , I like promos too but I wouldn't want a product I'd never use just because its free .
There’s a guy on the Customer Loyalty promo saying he should get 5 vials for his excellent review... that’s rediculous.
There is a forum for Srcs only that we are unable to see. If there was to be a place for such a listing I would recommend it be there. Keeps the abusers from knowing everyone is on to them. I’m sure the Mods once they catch wind of busters who scam are swift with their punishment. Plus the real big time abusers normally get a fancy forum thread with their handles posted for all of us to see.
Let’s not forget there is a huge financial recoup from the exposure of a website this large. When a Src hits the top of the ratings they’re counting large profits daily weekly monthly yearly. I’m all for keeping things fair for the Srcs but let’s not pretend they are helpless victims. Fair is fair and that’s how it should be.

AnonPromos are a nice perk i guess but typically you don't need to participate in promos if you have a good relationship with a source. Long time customers usually get rewarded, with my source everytime I order there's always a little extra suprise in there for me.

Discount promos only would solve the problem. I’m just a guest though so however they do it is fine with me. There’s quite a few members that never contribute to the forums and only comment on promos. Some of these guys are always online. It’s like there job lol...
It’s kinda sad really. Some people are all about the free shit though.
I saw a couple promos that looked pretty nice last week. I couldn’t do it though. In 5 years here, I’ve never jumped on a free shit promo. I have utilized a few % off sales, but only with the same sources I use anyway.
So I contemplated it, and decided not to. It’s not that anybody would give a shit or care either way, but I can still say I never wanted free shit. Not that I have anything at all against members utilizing these promos, it’s just a personal integrity thing. And integrity is what is lacking with a lot of guys out there.

I think the promos are a good thing. They are there for sources to get exposure, and this system has us prettty spoiled. Sources for the most part are kept honest and accountable.
I truthfully don’t see a reason to change anything. Let them do business as they choose, and we just keep ballbusting the whores out there. They eventually get caught and exposed.
I held my tongue on a few bad reviews back in the fanboy days. I saw what happened to low karma members with a complaint, and kept quiet. I knew how it would have turned out. I regretted staying silent, but those sources are no longer around, and the whole fanboy shit isn’t well tolerated these days.
Any system with human involvement will have its issues, because humans suck, but there’s much to be desired with the way things currently are. The wheel is round, and it’s rolling just fine.

I think your idea would work. People could save a couple dollars through the discounted (NOT free) promos, which would probably amount to the cost of one free product, if they decide to buy a few things at once, and at the same time allows vendors to circumvent the scammers.
For the record, I have never gotten a free promo (even though I could have). Some people want gear like it's crack. It blows my mind.

My new go to does bogo promos and I’m very happy with them. I’m just a member though however the mods and BFG choose to do it is fine. I’m here mainly for safety and the forums. Met some good people to. I even have favorite trolls. I get a kick out of all the shit talking. Lol
