injection pain/ posssible infection

ad

Did a .5 ml injection of 100 mg/ml prop I warned the barrel with oil in it and I think I actually injected hot oil in my upper quad.. it bruised for the first two days now it has no swelling or redness it just hurts. I'm limping pretty bad and the pain is getting no better it hurts in about a four inch radius around.injection site. Wondering what I can do. Ice or heat pad. I don't think its infection because.their is no discoloration or swelling. It's been about 5-6,days

Thanks guys yes it is not the prop what I'm using is the smoothest oil I have used best gear I have found at that. I have pics posted if you wanna know ;) I haven't had Ny problems I think its bad oil too the spot is very sore. It's weird I get 0 pip from this prop even 1.5 ml in delts I get zero. Hopefully it gets better so ice Nd not heat is best?

If it is an infection more than likely it will be fevered. If it is, the quicker you catch it the better off you are. I have been on hrt for 3 years and run into this very rarely but it does happen. If its fevered you need to find a antibiotic source or go to the doc (quicker the better). In my experience rocephin works best for me. I have a local connection and keep some on hand for times like this.

Bro you did 5ml of prop first off. It could be a sterile abscess but I would definetly split up the doses. Who's gear are you using? Sounds like you got a lot of crystals sitting on your muscle the heat probably made this worse also.

I think j just.heated the oil way to much probably caused some damage to the muscle. This is not my first time using prop. Definitely .ot a virgin muscle.I'm .ot super worried just want fo know what I can do I wanna recover quickly and get back to training legs a d back.

My first shot of prop gave me the same problem (especially if it's a virgin muscle to that type of ester). You can keep heating it if you want but I wouldn't be too concerned if there is no redness around the area. The pin could of moved around while injecting and gave you the bruising. Just keep an eye on it the next few days, as I said beforehand it hsppened to me and now I never get that. Just my opinion....be safe.
