I just saw that no one seems to do it so I just figured no one cared about them. I have. I problem doing it going forward. Is there some sort of limit on how many we can do? we can only write 8 reviews a year or something, so would those product reviews count towards that total? Or can we do 8 products plus 8 sources or what? How does that work
It's 8 reviews in a "rolling year" total, regardless if its for a promo or not, is how I understand it simply put.

Ya that’s how I was told it works too, but what about these “product reviews” it’s a whole different section and everything. And if they count towards that 8, then that could be a reason guys don’t want to do them either, the don’t want to “waste” a review on it. If I could only leave one review, I’d rather use it on a source that’s always done right by me, instead of using it on a product review

As far as I am aware mate - they are 2 separate entities. When I did some product reviews they didn't count towards my yearly total.

I hate to be blunt about this - but I think the real reason you will find people don't do them is because there is nothing in it for them. I have done a number of them a while ago because I find it fun and hopefully helpful to people when choosing certain products/labs, but just look at how hard it is to get people to write a half decent review even when they have received $300 worth of free gear. Many reviews I see are a Disgrace in return for what they have been sent by the sources.

I'm not meaning in any way is the member right for thinking this way about getting nothing in return, but many people today are just not willing to spend 10 minutes of their time trying to help others in return for no financial reward
I see where your coming from on that as well. I generally make notes of anything good/bad on an order, as the cycle goes, then sit down and put it together. I see it as my chance to really say what I want about the source/product, spefically when something stands out, not just the usual general bs. I'd like to think others put some weight into when they read mine, as well as the sources.
Yes I appreciate your reviews and anyone else who puts time into them. I always try and add something concrete or useful to mine also. Like a test, or some sort of numerical change, like amount of weight loss or gain, amount of fat loss or gain, blood sugar, health makers, blood test, something that’s more than just “source is good, a package arrived it must be good” lol
Ya that’s probably a big piece of it, but also it’s never asked to be done. Like a source will say “please leave a review” so people go leave a review. But no one’s ever asking “please go make a product review” so I just think that no one ever thinks to do it
How many times do you see a member put up a review then literally on the same day they enter a promo for the source they have just reviewed?!! LMAO They are only putting that review up to get accepted into the promo as the source reminded them they owe them a review first! Lol I wonder just what the ratio of members who comment daily in the forums like us guys is vs members who purely come on to enter promo's and never say a word in the forums. I guarantee that when new members first come on here and are looking around seeing what's what - if they realised they could get 2 vials for each product review they did they would be putting loads up.
I'm new so sorry for a probably obvious thing, but what are promos? I've only ordered from one company and don't plan on reviewing until I've used the items regularly enough to feel like I have an informed opinion.
But I saw someone posting about being in a promo but it wasn't very clear what that was. A lottery for free gear? A tit for tat discount for reviewing?
I definitely notice that in the promo section there are a ton of guys that I've never seen them comment on anything. And when I look at their profile, they've been members for years. I'm sure that ratio is rather high! There's only but a few dozen, if that, that are on here regularly. I get that life happens and some ppl need to take a break, something happened and they went to jail, whatever the case may be. But I've been on here over a year and I've only picked up on it recently. The number is astounding. Sad.....
It always surprises me when people don't want to talk to other members, they don't want to get involved in the conversations all about what we are all on the site for - Training, building muscle, steroids, food, just having a laugh. I can't understand why you wouldn't want to do that. I get that some guys may not be comfortable talking to strangers or can be shy - but no one is stood in front of one another, its just banter through a computer.
This is the truest statement, todays society it doesn’t pay to lead but to follow, I assume it’s easy to lurk around here for years, buy loads of gear and enter promos every chance they get.
If I remember correctly from my old account, when reviewing a specific vial or oral tab, the only forms of those products that do show up are strictly international brands : ppha dr****, begas, Od etc etc.. if there were separate reviews for all domestic vials I could systematically go through and give my full honest feedback on “TomDickHarryLabs Test400blend” and directly compare it to the competitors.
I also believe there are many members running multiple sources anabolics at the same time and will not let on to that as those Frankenstein cycles are frowned upon.
The only way a Frankenstein cycle is praised IMO is if you could review each individual vial while pinning, coupled with sending that oil out to jano. IMO this is just as effective a review as someone running a proper strict cycle, running the oil long enough and pairing with bloodwork.
They’re both good honest reviews one is just more acceptable than the other. For the guys who have 50+ vials there’s no doubt 85% are running multiple oils from multiple sources .
Ya it’s only going to be big name products and pharmaceuticals. There’s too many UGLS and who knows if they’ll be here tomorrow. Also their quality could vary greatly from batch to batch. So I understand only the big names to be in the list BUT those are sources that have already cemented their reputations, so isn’t every single product review going to be positive, with only minor differences in preference? I doubt you’ll see a review saying genotropin is trash, or Bayer proviron is garbage. But I guess the difference of opinion could be valuable especially if you see a pattern with certain manufacturers
An international batch doesn’t vary quite as much as domestics do? I suppose I never really thought of this.
I’m just usually dead set on domestics due to the product not having to go through customs and sometimes I can be impatient with the wait.
The transparency even from three years ago is outstanding, a certain purple top domestic is releasing Janos on each updated batch. It gives me such a peace of mind
If I had it my way I would make it mandatory that any SRC who holds top ten status has to send all products in for testing, I know a certain purple top lab does this, I get worried when I see a reputable source and they haven’t tested their oils in four months
Oh no international could vary just as much. I just mean the size of the operation. And domestics are usually like one guy or a small group. the international products have warehouses and shit. If it’s one guy brewing in his garage there could be much more variation in the batch compared to an employee following a recipe in large lab/factory. But that doesn’t mean there going to brew them honestly, they could purposely be under-dosing them as well. There’s a domestic source that I use for all my basic stuff as well.

On my old account I did give honest reviews based on a sources Tren or test , P****P**** is such a well known brand, intl sources handing out vials left and fucking right.. shoveling out promo free gear like nobodies business, personally I wanted to be able to highlight P***P**** Tren and just review that specific product

Yeah I didn't quite get it either? I mean, not everybody is going to like everybody I get that. But it's a pretty cool thing we got going on here! Yeah, some guys can be harsh at times but we all cheer each other on for the most part. If not for the brotherhood of it, the vast knowledge and experience in here is unparalleled. You didn't see this shit anywhere else! Makes no sense to me
