How Our Ranking Works
R = average rating for a categoryv = number of votes in that category
C = baseline score (9.19)
m = baseline votes (60)
i = each category (Quality, Delivery, Service, Overall, Pricing)
W = (1/5) * Σ [(Rᵢ * vᵢ + C * m) / (vᵢ + m)]We use a weighted voting formula so rankings are somewhat stable and can't be pushed up or down too much by just a few votes.
For each category (Quality, Delivery, Service, Overall, Pricing), we calculate:
Source Score = (Quality Score + Delivery Score + Service Score + Overall Score + Pricing Score) / 5

- Baseline Score (C) = 9.19
This is a hard coded value, originally designed to be a true site-wide average value. Turned out to be problematic because users vote either 1*; or 5* - which creates extreme volatility. - Baseline Votes (m) = 60
Controls how quickly a source moves away from the Baseline Score (C).- Sources below m: stay closer to C (harder to swing up or down fast).
- Sources above m: score reflects real voting more while baseline matters less.

What could be improved
- Implement true-to-data Baseline Score(C).
C = 9.19 hard coded was not my original intention. Like I explained above, the value has been fixed to prevent swings and fluctuations when users rage vote, or, start gobbling source dick because of a particularly successful promo - but it is a fake value in a way and not a 100% representation of reality.
- If we change that to reflect true average which is 9.73
- expect worse differentiation between high and lower ranked sources
- even higher stability (no movement) in ranks
- more gaming potential for sources with low vote count
- But, if people start voting with their heads, C would go down organically and things would normalize
- Decrease Baseline Votes from 60 to a lower value.
- give smaller sources a better chance of breaking away from the baseline.
- Not a lot changes for sources with many votes
- Slightly easier to game ranking (smaller sources dont need as many fake votes to "make it"

It is against the rules and one source was caught but several others still do it. Those big promos and all that go on, sources are not going to choose you if you give less than a 5 star review.
How do you think they got cought? If you guys aren't looking out for each other nothing will change. Blast them on their own SI page. Make the 5/5 review a rarity. They will be afraid to continue with the PM pressure tactics if they felt it hurts the bottom line.

Idk, I guess they got to keep an eye open in them PM's then. If this is happening though, then it means the rules only apply to some people while others get away with it openly. This can also imply that the ranking system is being tampered with directly though the PM's and these "promos". I don't think the UGL's offering promos should even be in peoples PM's at all cause it is creating a highly influenced decision, and if caught should be banned from future promos. just my take, I'm just theorizing, I don't know shit lol, what do you think?
I agree with that, I do not want to start drama on the topic but it happens and I have seen proof and has happened to me as well. Show me anyone on this site that has been in a promo that has left less than a 5 star review. It doesn't happen because they would never be picked again.
I've been here for over 14 years and never had a promo tag by my name. If I had a source tell me I had to leave a 5 star review or not be chosen again for a promo, I would not be offered a promo by that source again. Even if it was deserving of a 5 star review, they wouldn't be getting one for giving me an ultimatum. Giving a 5 start review out of fear of not getting into another promo destroys the integrity of the review system. If people can't afford to run gear without being in promos, they shouldn't be fucking running gear. If they can't afford gear, they most certainly can't afford the proper nutrition for results.

Fuck that. I may feel o located but if the gear is weak then I’m giving a 3-4 star for weak gear. Problem is sometimes gear is dosed perfect and my buddies will love it but I just don’t like it. Doesn’t mean their gear is bad. Just that my body responds better to other gear. Don’t know why it is but maybe the oils they use? I don’t know if there is a correlation but I seem to get matter results from gear with tea oil or grape seed oil. I’m gonna look at what the other l brand like uses. I asked them and waiting for response.

Thanks. This site was a safety first site. That’s why I liked it. Weeds out dangerous gear and scam sources. Keeps newbies from killing themselves. I wonder how many deaths were prevented from this site. I seen hundreds ask for first cycle advise over the years. And if 16 years old you’re immediately banned. Eve when young guys come in here at 16 your banned or even if your in your early 20s you get told your too young to take gear. It’s not about money. It’s about safety and scammers and whatever else. They have a recovery lounge to talk to somebody if you’re going to relapse into addiction. I got advise from members that have autistic children like me. My son is 5 and autistic and a member here gave me solid advice on how to help my child. The amount of guys on here that reached out to me with insight for my child was overwhelming. The support I have had on here with problems in life also. This site is the best steroid forum in the world. You don’t get help like that in other forums. Not steroid ones at least. It’s so much more than a steroid site.

Yeah I've seen many young guys on here get banned already, this is a very good thing. We all do know though they are still gonna blast though. At least they can still read the treasure trove of info on this website, and possibly make a better more well informed decision. That is pretty cool we have people here who take the time out of there day to give a ear to a stranger about any type of situation going on, like your 5 year old son. I do agree though this is the best steroid forum on the internet, much better then reddit, my time on that app has drastically decreased cause of this open and welcoming space on the internet.

It's a tricky one to pick because the top rated sources basically get to stay on top because they run non stop promos that smaller sources cannot keep up with. I found my first steroid source back in 2019 through eroids, yet didn't think to make an account because links took me straight to the site. I've used 3 sources from here in total and the one I consistently use doesn't run promos, this would negatively impact their rating score to the point they are on the brink of staying in the top 10. I'm not advocating for more sources running promos, if anything I think in the terms of fairness and allowing customers to have a real voice on this website, a source should be limited in how many promos they can run per year.
I never knew about promos until I signed up here a few months ago and I don't think anyone who uses anabolics anticipates or relies on handouts, they are a great feature on this website but as said above can skew the review scoring system. At least if promos were limited then the smaller sources that can't afford to give away a large inventory are allowed to gain more reviews and paying customers.

If a source in 11th place is running promos, they are likely to get a lot of participants who will in turn leave reviews to be included in future promos.

maybe negatively impact 10th places score? it wouldn't bring their score down obviously but what it would do is drive the 11th place sources score up, allowing them the opportunity to break into the top 10. if they ran a promo where 60 guys got free gear and left good reviews for example.
Capitalism means free market. You can buy from a supermarket and you have the option to go a local store too. We run non-stop promos because we want to keep up our business and competitiveness which is 100% fair, we work a lot for this. For the promos, which are products paid by us and sent to you for testing and review, the member only need to place an honest review. We never ask members to review or force them to join promos. Also, there are many members that after joining a promo, they place paid orders.
An important aspect about the promos is that hundreds (if not thousands) of members here joined during the years and they've had their cycles covered only from promos. So the promos help people reach their goals, which we consider a positive thing.
A source have the freedom of not running promos, maybe he is fine with the level of sales. How many promos are run by a source is irrelevant, because the members are not always asking to join, sometimes are just 3-4. We just keep the option open for new members that want to try our products and services and this does not skew the review voting process in any way.
It wasn't a slight on the top sources, and I know it benefits the sources to run promos in the hopes of retaining customers. However it does mean that the same sources dominate the market, much like supermarkets that have established themselves in their field. It makes it much more difficult for the smaller sources to build any sort of reputation solely because they may struggle to offer free items.
Don't get me wrong I think promos are a positive and I'm grateful to be part of a community that allows them - and to have been given an opportunity from yourselves. My response was purely based on what is fairer for smaller sources.
That's on you. Back when eroids only had a few members we posted sources we new were scammers and who were the good ones.
Sources weren't "screened" like they are now. We members didn't have ANY loyalty to a source. A new source popped up, WE checked them out and reviewed them. We put our money on the line for the betterment of other eroid members. There's some war stories for back in the day.
Now, complacency has creaped in. Younger members don't know about the "wild west" some have forgotten. "Hey, you're safe if you pick the top ten." Which one of you members are going to cowboy up and risk some coin on that new source ranked 20th?
Simpler still, when are you all going to find your balls and post other than 5/5 reviews? IT'S THIS FACT ALONE THAT MAKE IT A NUMBERS GAME
The sources only have control when you give it to them.
The top ten sources do tend to have the fast delivery though with very few packs getting seized. Some of the other sources though deserve to be in the top ten over others. I can think of two. And I used a lot of sources on here. I think there should be a top 15

I've made purchases with a source not in the top 10. I know myself the risk of buying anything and it's money I am willing to lose if the products don't arrive/are not as described. This website however doesn't make it simple to find sources specific to a location that is outside the top 10.
The issue a source ranked 20th may have is that 1. not enough people can see the source as we have a strict top 10 and 2. not enough people will make purchases to enable the source to break the top 10. Would be interesting to know exactly how many 5/5 reviews the INT ranked 20th source would need to break the top 10.
Nothing is "on me" either, I haven't used any free items nor received any yet. My journey has been done by paying for my gear and I can survive without freebies, as I have done for the last 7 years. Not to say I don't appreciate what sources are doing and wouldn't mind testing products to see if I'll run with them in the future, but myself personally receiving items (paid or free) the reviews will remain the same, honest.

It's a collective "me". It's on you (the members). You guys need to think and act as we did in the day before there was a top ten list. It's in your hands and that should be the forum topic. What's wrong and how to correct it. 80% is member behavior. 10% is source bad behavior. 10% is site structure which has and will change based on member feedback.

Here I am, I follow your rules, post content that is helpful, even tag @Greg to help get rid of spam and fake accounts. I make a comment that is not even that bad and I am getting banned for that? Do you think any of these guys would be chosen for a promo if they gave less than a 5 star review? That is another issue with the rankings, it will always be 5 stars and the top ten will always be the same ones even if they charge 10x the price of other sources.
By the way I have only ever been in ONE promo the ENTIRE time I have been on this site so no I am not a free gear whore. The shit I use I back up with testing and post it.

BFG has given you all a platform to have a "consumer union" stronger than any one of these sources. Make your 3/5 4/5 reviews secondary to your credibility.
I'd much rather have a 4/5 review from someone like Annieguy than a 5/5 review from some brown nosing poser that joined 2 months ago.

I covered everything. That said he told me there's no way a source can receive a 5/5 star review unless it was delivered same day by a hooker giving me a blow job while administering the shot for me. Have you read the rules? I have and still make mistakes or step outside the lines. However my line stepping isn’t what would be considered dangerous, if dangerous is the right word? These rules are in place not only to protect BFG but to protect you as a member. He’s been doing this for quite some time, that fact alone should behoove you to pay attention to how the forum is ran. We as members may not understand or agree with the rules, but every single rule is in place for a very specific reason.
