I think it could also hurt the community aswell. It seems like people have forgotten what this forum is all about. People come here to learn and share ideas. I hate it when people just shit on newbies or close new ideas without thought, I wish they could do some revamping to the karma system and neg people for being assholes to new members. It basically pushes away new members and kills the community. Personally, I believe karma is more of a popularity contest.
Also it takes away the value of advice from actual experienced users. Unfortunately a lot of people on this forum judge your knowledge based on your karma. You could have person who is occasionally active, posts bloods every 3 months and racks up a ton of karma throughout time even with only basic knowledge.
Also people are more likely to listen if you treat them nicely. If you trying attacking them personally they will try defending their choices. The best way to change somebodies opinion is by listening, understanding, and respect.

The first thing that happens when you log in for the first time is you are redirected to the rules page.
By and large the ONLY newbie flaming with neged karma is a post directly in violation of the rules.
So, step one: READ THE RULES.
A post like this about karma is more akin to hazing. Those who have been here for a while know how touchy a subject karma can be.
The only other big mistake a newbie can make is to ask for help but be obstinate and combative when help is given, and, to try and pass yourself off as something you're not... eventually it'll bite you in the ass.
AnonI have only seen a few people get flamed on here and it was well deserved, the rest that got a sore ass over being called a fucktard and up and left are just the weak leaving the tribe.

Thats the moment I knew I was on the right forum. Eroids is alot like life. You win some you lose some. These guys complaining about karma dont realize some members like Rusty have lost more than most of us will ever have. Its silly to even concern yourself about it. It either comes or it doesnt.

I just checked on the pics section and interestingly enough only one person has 29+ karma points from a single pic while the large majority before and after (in the top 10 shown) are barely able to eek out 5 each.
Then you click on the persons profile to see that with pictures alone they appear to have been given more karma than what shows on their profile off pics alone.
Not picking on anyone but just reiterating that how karma is obtained on here is clearly subjective.
This is also a point to the newbies on here.
The karma level etc. shown on someone's profile should not be the only way you determine how valued the persons contributions have been on here much less their actual accumulation of PEA/PED use in general.
Some great contributors on here with valuable information but don't go based solely on their profile karma number or title.
That’s because once you hit 400 one plus is two points. Mods and pros count for three. I agree about the karma one of my favorite posters is only in the 30s. I don’t think most guys really care. Karma mainly means your active in the forums... Still the guys been on cycle six months. That’s not going to earn a lot of karma. I gave him two for his sense of humor.

May I ask why you want to raise your karma points first?
To me someone asking how they can raise their karma says they only want to raise their karma for all the wrong reasons and not use it the way it was intended. Karma is for people who go over and beyond to either help others with correct and proper advice. Also by writing detailed (legit) reviews.
Now why would someone with -7 karma be interested in gaining their karma back? Hmmmm. Promo perhaps?
The point I'm trying to make is if you have knowlage of AAS (and not a yolo cycle approach) and are a positive asset to this site your karma will reflect that.
The same way you being -7 and asking about how to raise your karma. Get my point?
