Has anyone had gyno removal surgery?

I have a lump under my right nipple that I got about 2 years ago when I was in Afghanistan and it wont go away. I have tried letro and everything else under the sun. I was wondering if anyone has ever had it cut out? if so how bad was the pain? How long were you out of commission? Scaring? Im going to go to the doc next week about it and start the process of getting it done. If not I will keep everyone updated.

AnonI had a hard lump cut out and it was directly under the nipple. I just went to a family doctor back then who happened to be good with a scalpel. He gave me a local, I laid down and put my hand behind my head and he cut it out, sent it off and it was non cancerous. piece of cake, nothing to it.

Yes that is what I have.. It's good to hear that everyone says its not bad.
Remember it is your body and your decision to get it done. Some physicians are in the military because they are hacks and could never survive in the civilian world, they probably cant even get insured. Other physicians are some of the best in the world, since technology in the military will always supersede the civilian world. Check the physicians credentials and if you feel he is the right guy for the job, do it. If you don't feel comfortable, wait and hopefully you can get referred to another one. Don't feel obligated to get it done with a shitty Dr. just because they have some rank.
If I was going to have anything done at a military hospital i would at least make sure it is not a training hospital. I was in Army and had a wonderful 10 day stay at the hospital. It took the 28 times to get IV in. I finally grabbed girls hand and guided needle in my own vein. I looked like a junky for a very long time after.
Had it done by breast cancer doctors. If you can go have them see you, that would be best. They do breast surgeries ALL the time, lumps, gyno on men, everything-and they did it in a way that had me less scarred than I thought.It males sense to see people that just specialize it that type of surgery. Sore for a week, then did no exercising for 3 weeks like they recommended-and good to go now. 3 and a half monthes since, only problem is that feeling is still not back all the way in that nipple yet.
I had my wizdom teeth done after Bootcamp, they fucked that shit up.. I stayed away from medical ever sense haha..... But yes, free is free......
Ive had both titz done many years ago. You'll need to see a Plastic Surgeon. It was a simple, painless out-patient surgery. Best part was the mepergan fortis pain Meds. Downtime was minimal

Yes... Im just worried a little about the hack job the doc will do. I saw my buddies leg and was like damn (he had a small bone frag taken out on his shin)

I haven't had it done, but the best advice is to make sure you get a good surgeon. Ask your regular doc that you trust if he knows any reputable cosmetic surgeons. The right doc can have a huge impact on appearance, scarring, and healing time.

There is a surgeon in america that has worked on loads of bodybuilders, dr Blau look him up he will do a good job!
