Flex pinning

ad

Is it ok to flex and insert the needle then relax and inject? Im asking this because lets say on the day you hit triceps you decide you want to use test suspension on the outer tricep to help increase growth (site injection development) but you can't see that muscle unless flexed so flexing it would show that muscle then you could inject the needle knowing you are in that correct part of the tricep. Then release tension and then inject. This method could possibly be used on all muscle groups if you have a little too much body fat to really see the definition in your muscles if it were to be okay to do. Any insight?

I just finished a 6week peptide cycle that included 5 injections ED. I site injected all of them in bis, tris, calves, pecs and delts. I always injected delts, pecs and tris flexed using a slin pin. Never had a problem

ive injected flexed the entire time, no problems to report

Orange and all caps must mean its correct! Lol Yeah I'll just have to flex and have a friend closely and carefully pay attention to my outer tri. Im going to fr you if I havent already. Do you believe test sus. site injection makes much of a difference? I was thinking 25mg in the outer tri each and train them twice a week. Tips Gator?

dont do it. when contracting the muscle, actin and myosin filaments are overlapping each other completely. it would be like you are piercing more tissue somewhat. also it just sounds painful. come on. lol

That does make sense. Thank you for your comment.

If you're intent on doing site injections and you do have a helper, maybe you could flex and have them pin point the injection site. Once the site is determined have him stick you as soon as you relax.

I see your point and really am finding no readily available research saying it will harm anything. Your muscle has very few nerve endings. With that being said I would side with rusty hooker on this. You may run the risk of twitching and busting a pin off in your arm during the stick. When injecting my outer thigh I flex prior to pinning to isolate the correct muscle. I then find a marker on my skin, relax and stick (after proper site cleaning and prep). It seems if you flex prior and then relax your helper should still be able to hit the correct muscle head. Whatever you decide to do just be careful. Best case scenario, nothing happens with this method or maybe you get some hella bad pip. Worst case: who knows, but do you want to risk it?

The least risk route sounds best to me. Thanks bro.

That was kind of my idea except staying flexed untill they push the plundger. Basically asking if 'just' incerting the needle while flexed is a bad idea. But relaxing while injecting.

Freak_Accident's picture

My idea was since I can't see any definition and my triceps unless I flex them. I wanted to know if it was a bad idea to flex and have a friend insert the needle into the outer muscle of the tricep with test suspension and then release the tension and unflex the muscle for when they actually insert the liquid. I wouldn't have to do this if I could see clearly the definition and my tricep without flexing but I can't so it would be kind of a guessing game if I wasn't flexing and trying to hit the outer tricep muscle. Definitely not flex while they insert the liquid that s*** would hurt

Lol good point

This is somethings that had me curious too... Hopefully we get alot of corresponding answers Blum 3

When I was a kid the doctor said if you are tense when he injects you it's going to be a lot worse.
So when I pin I try to be as relaxed as possible.

So..I would guess it would make the PIP worse.
But i've never used Test Suspension so I can't say
